When it works, it works BUT...
When it works, it works BUT:
(1) Search results frequently include items that do not ship to Ireland, which is ridiculous on what is meant to be an Irish website.
(2) Qualifying for free delivery is very complicated because (as far as I can work out) products coming from the Irish warehouse and products coming from elsewhere can't be combined to reach the required amount.
(3) There is no way to filter results to avoid problems (1) and (2).
It's just a really badly thought out website/app.
Amazon Ireland is a disaster
I ordered an item on 22 November 2025, now 8 Jan 2026 and am still waiting for it. Since I moved my Prime subscription from UK to IE, constantly issues with deliveries.

Generally a poor experience compared to amazon.co.uk. Constantly late deliveries, will say arriving today by 8pm even though you can see from the tracking it isn't out for delivery. Then they just tell you to wait, that it will come within a week. Then they tell you it got damaged and a refund will take 14 days. Then after a month you have to ask where the refund is because it hasn't been processed. If you didn't follow up they would just keep your money. Had delivery driver deliver to the wrong house before and had to walk up and down the streets looking for it. Never had these types of issues on amazon.co.uk
Crapification of Amazon
Amazon used to re reliable, dependable and professional but it's turning into the opposite. I ordered an item 4 months ago in September, after only half the order was delivered I contacted customer support but told I would need to cancel the reminder, order at a higher price and then raise a ticket seeking a refund. When I said this wasn't a solution but a whole new set of problems they representative said they would take it on there shoulders to have it delivered. Fast forward another 6 weeks and another customer service chat and now the answer is again for me to cancel the order, then reorder then raise a ticket for the different amount.

But heres the thing i cannot resign with uk as it says im in the wrong location. What an absolute summy scammy thing to do. If it was a trial surely i should be able to get back to where i started. This seems very underhanded bordering illegal to me. Worst ive ever dealt with and btw the Irish prices and service are shocking. Ridiculous
Can't fulfill orders
Ordered an echo show 15 during the black Friday sales. Delivery date was early December. They have since pushed it out to the start of February. This was supposed to be a Christmas present. When I talked to customer service they said they were out of stock. They weren't out of stock when I bought it. They obviously over sold and didn't properly monitor the orders and the stock count. This is the second item that hasn't been fulfilled from Amazon.ie, the first was a mattress for a cot. Ordered in the summer and it did have a long delivery date on it, had checked to confirm it was still going to be sent twice, but they cancelled and refunded the money a couple weeks before it was due to be delivered. I think they're going to do the same thing with the echo show now and just cancel it and refund the money. Lost a lot of faith in the Amazon Ireland shop after this.
Ordered a book
Ordered a book. Promised next day delivery. Then pushed out by a week. New delivery date didn't suit me. Amazon refused to cancel. I would have accepted a later delivery date but no flexibility. Told it was up to me to refuse delivery or monitor delivery on line & refuse it.

Ordered an Alexa product. Told it would be delivered 22nd Dec and now I get message that it will be delivered in February!! Absolutely ridiculous! Will never us Amazon.ie again!

Amazon.ie acts like a scam website using the Amazon brand as a front to deceive Amazon customers. They fraudulently sell items as in stock, telling you they will deliver your order and then keep your money and cancel your order after a month saying they never had the item in the first place (very shady business practices). Customer support is extemely rude and unhelpful. This is the opposite of their UK and DE websites where they always deliver, are very helpful and friendly. Avoid Amazon.ie website at all costs. It is not the same.

I ordered the pallet of returned branded items and if the goods I received amounted to a retail value of €20 that would be pushing it. I paid €35 for a cheap non branded toothbrush, a non branded set of earpods, a cheap torch and a light for a keyring. To say I'm not happy is an understatement. I will of course not be buying anything again

Unjustified Order Cancellation and Price Increase.
I purchased several light photography items on Amazon.ie during a black Friday , at approximately 30% below the regular price, with a stated delivery time of four days.
After more than a week, Amazon unilaterally cancelled my order and subsequently increased the price of the same items. As a result, I lost the opportunity to purchase them from another retailer.
Cancelling a confirmed order and raising the price immediately afterwards constitutes unfair commercial practice. I intend to pursue my consumer rights. Based on public forums, I am not the only customer affected by this conduct.
I request a formal explanation and appropriate resolution.

AMAZON drivers back to school
AMAZON drivers don't give a sh1t..can't read and don't see house numbers even when they're on the pillar outside the house....
Package delivered today to a neighbors house...no one home , left at door EVEN THOUGH we were at home....
Because of the storm the package was blown down the garden into the bushes where it sat for 4 hours in the rain.... neighbor came home from work and luckily found it before it got dark...soaking wet, luckily not damaged or there would have been a very disappointed little girl on Christmas morning...

As the story goes, I order an item that was not fulfilled. I have been told so many lies from 2 customer service agents that I wonder have they any conscience.
Then I realized that they are script writers. ie. told what to say and what not.
I have been an advocate for Amazon for many years now and to be let down like this is not nice.
