Amazon.ie packages left at doors that don't even have gardens for some protection...

I recently noticed two good size packages in Amazon wrapping outside houses in Dublin 8 on different days. They were houses with no gardens and given the weather recently it was lucky they weren't getting wet and hopefully weren't stolen in advance of the homeowner getting back. That doesn't qualify as customer service as anyone could take them when passing by and I wonder what happens if they were taken that way. I also noticed recently unmarked vans doing some of the Amazon deliveries and I reckon that might be an issue too. I know there are no options on Amazon.ie to change a delivery or address near the delivery date which is a major drawback compared to other delivery companies. At least An Post have parcel depots if a person is not at home and DPD have a great collection option in designated local shops. Why can't Amazon.ie do that or at least have eg. 24 hr secure collection areas along the lines of the pre Brexit Parcel Motel setup which was a great company. I wonder do Amazon even bother to read these reviews or are they just so big now that they couldn't care...

Gift Card Error By Amazon

I’m a Prime member and had an incredibly frustrating experience with Amazon’s customer service.

An Amazon system error caused a gift card payment to fail, yet €93 from my gift card balance was placed on hold even though no order went through. What followed was hours of back-and-forth with multiple agents, repeated explanations, and constant delays.

I was given conflicting information, escalated to supervisors, and repeatedly told to “wait another 12–24 hours” with no clear accountability or ability to resolve an issue caused entirely by Amazon. No one could release the funds, no one could offer an alternative solution, and the experience felt entirely scripted and inefficient.

For a global company that charges for Prime membership and promotes itself as customer-focused, this level of service is unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but the lack of ownership, urgency, and real support is what made this experience so disappointing

Scammers along with Bstock.com

Scammers along with Bstock.com, i won an auction at 1075 euro and they wanted to charge me 2800 euro for shipping so i canceled the order and requested a refund, they did not helped to get my refund back from Amazon Eu Sarl and gave me an email to write the request and no one answered., it's been 4 weeks now and no answer

Money taken without permission.

Yesterday I got a message that my Prime membership had started on Prime.ie. Problem was I hadn't ordered Prime, Amazon just decided to go to my revolut card, take 6.99 and inform me afterwards.

Thing is, this is not the first time its hapenned either. Amazon.co.uk. did exactly the same thing a few months ago. Once is a mistake, two is a pattern in my humble opinion. Then to top it off I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my refund and when I get it it will be 6.78 instead of 6.99. Now the 21 cents means nothing but its just another annoyance.

Amazon, has twice taken money from an account of mine without my permission. If I'd have been on a tight budget and had a direct debit due i would have been charged for not having sufficient funds by the bank and late fees by the company.

I would urge everyone to check their accounts regularly. If your phone is like mine and you get lots of messages everyday it would be very easy to miss.

Absolutely furious the one star rating they don't get it

My son ordered 3 bottles of Choco musk perfume, one was the Choco musk the 2nd was the Choco musk pistachio 3 Rd was the Choco musk marshmallow all boxes were ripped to bits not crushed as that can happen these were tore to bits in side the Amazon box no bubble wrap not wrapped in anything I cnt believe they'd send this in this condition I'm furious absolutely will not buy off Amazon again if this is the service u get I mean it's ridiculous this was a gift from my son and It ment a lot to me so mad I cnt tell u and that one star I had to give something to write a review but they don't get that one star they getting absolutely nothing they should be ashamed to send of a parcel like this and the ripped boxes it didn't happen in transit this was posted in this condition but unless someone got in side a sealed box and tore them up they were seen and still sent like this absolutely shocking service and quality control Amazon be ashamed of ur service and it was an Amazon box and brought from Amazon itself plus the caps on the bottles were not the original caps there supposed to be flat at the bk like the bottles they are flat to the back they are falling off so so so annoyed 😠😠😠😠😠

They know about AnPost beeing the worst ...

They know about all the issues with using AnPost as a primary carrier, they know this will repel all the customers as we order stuff to get it delivered to our homes, not to pick up in the postoffice. I have brought this issue with AnPost to Amazons attention many times even begged them to not use it for my orders which they promised will not happen again. Yet every single order is late 2 to 10 days and I will not order from amazon.ie again. As an years long Prime member I would expect the service to get better not worst. Also you can see that they are aware of this since they dont even bother to claim this site on TrustPilot. Shame on you Jeff, you started something amazing and it's turning in to real pain.

Pricing seems to be mismatched on numerous items compared to the UK website. If they're trying to push this more in the Irish market I would have thought the prices would at least be the same as the UK amazon

Amazon avoid !

Amazon, this is unacceptable. If you want people to keep ordering from you, you must change your delivery provider immediately. An Post never even attempts delivery they simply mark the parcel as “delivery failed” and dump it at a pickup point.
I was at home and waiting. No call, no message, no doorbell - nothing at all. I don't have time to collect parcels myself every time because your so-called delivery service can’t be bothered to do its job.
This is not a delivery service, it’s a joke. Stop outsourcing to providers who lie about delivery attempts and ruin the customer experience. An Post is a joke!

Deceitful Driver ,Left delivery out in the rain but yet recorded a photo of our postbox ???

As a prime customer

I would like to bring to your attention a drivers dishonesty in recording a delivery and taking a photo of the postbox when he actually left delivery on the ground in the rain for the night .I have video footage ,

I stated in advance and it is also on my special instruction to leave in the blue wheelie bin at side of the house ,

Not only did he not do so he did not even put it in the post box either OR in a safe place

This is not acceptable

(Very) late delivery of e-gift voucher. Very disappointed. Ordered on 12th Jan, to be 'delivered' by email on 14th (asked for, and specified, in purchase) - just arrived on 21st. Now a belated birthday present.

What was even more interesting is that this 'review' was not allowable to be posted on the Amazon site - seems they only accept positive reviews!

What has happened to Amazon.
Almost impossible to contact. Dreadful customer service who appear not to have a clue how to be polite or resolve anything. Delivery has become so bad that most of my orders are left OUTSIDE on a public thoroughfare rather than ring my doorbell. Ridiculous.
Definitely won’t be purchasing again.

Awful

Awful. Late deliveries, always done with an post an not with their own vans and really difficult sometimes to seet a new delivery adress. I've had amazon uk and spain and it was excellent, but the irsh one is a disgrace. And when you are trying to reach their support, their are always like "we are really sorry" "this is not what we expect for our costumers" and all that rubish, but not chaging a thing. They are a disgrace.

Party box speaker in Cart but cannot purchase.

I have a Muse Party box speaker in my Amazon Cart but cannot buy it because Amazon say they cannot deliver it to my address or my address in Northern Ireland. Their Customer service say it cannot be delivered to any address. Seemingly their Fullfillment Section look after this problem but they cannot be contacted and they don’t contact customers. What a Nightmare Company to deal with.

Packages keep getting dumped on my…

Packages keep getting dumped on my elderly neighbours doorstep, it's a 50/50 chance it goes to them and not me and it's getting embarrassing as they are old and not mobile. When it does come to the right address it just gets flung on the doorstep with no knock on the door. I'm tired of the shoddy service

Ordered stuff that specifically says from 14 to 18 days. As this are the dates that i will be home. After 3 days i got email the attempted delivery failed. I don't understand this. I spend over 1000 euro for 4 things. And then I saw this reviews about Amazon IE. I can't believe that I used this one instead of UK. I m afraid that I will not see my stuff or that they will come after few months because I m not home. And I need this stuff now as I bought empty apartment. Have nothing.

A great company in the past.... just a joke now

Amazon used to be "earths most customer centric company" and tbh for the most part that was fairly accurate.
This company has gone so far downhill its unreal.. I mean it feels like they turned themselves in a temu/shine type company.

So lets kick it off..
Prime is pointless unless you are ordering A LOT for the free shipping. Its not fast unless you happen to order at a VERY quite period.
Prime video that comes with it is a joke now, they rotate videos you can watch behind paywalls and they choose the movies based on season / if there's something in that franchise coming out or its popular etc

But despite all that.. the worst thing about amazon now is their customer service.. or lack of it.
They have outsourced their support so much and do not ensure their support staff are trained to handle customers like they did in the past.
They chat teams etc can only respond with copy/paste response's while they are probably talking with 2/3 different people at the same time.

They copy/paste 'empathy' lines randomly and cannot answer questions that aren't part of the script they are given to work from.
Amazon are too cheap to worry about quality control.. they just focus on volume.. just respond to as many people as they can and it doesnt matter if they get the help they want.. just power through them and move on to the next.

I cancelled my prime membership that ive had for years after the 4 items worth around 2k have been sat not moving for nearly 2 weeks now.. and their support just keep copy/pasting 'we are sorry.. it will be with you soon'.. and literally ignore any direct questions by repeating something that has nothing to do with what i asked.

I'll be paying the extra by going with brick and mortar stores just to avoid the hassle of ever having to deal with this rubbish company again.
