SCAM!!!!

I paid £1.90 for a one off and they’ve just taken £29.90 from my bank account! I’ve reported them for fraud. STAY AWAY

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! They will ask you for a one off payment of 0.90p and then end up billing you for the full subscription price of £29.90 per month and they will take that unauthorised out of your bank every month. I’ve had to change my card details. Do NOT trust this company!

DO NOT PUT YOUR CARD DETAILS!!

Totally a scam & a shell company that operates many similar sites. The extra £29.90 charge that you've paid isn't coming back because they move the money right away to other accounts in different banks.

Absolute scam, please do not use. I opted for the single cover letter option and they have continued to charge me £29.90 per month. Have now managed to block their account and cancelled 'subscription'.
They also operate as ExpressCV and when money is extracted they appear on bank account as dsresumecv

I paid £1.90 for a seven day trial and they took 2 payments £29.90. I emailed them to ask for a refund and they told me that it was a pre subscription fee. I did not authorise that. I have sent two correspondence asking for a return of my money. They emailed me back and said I could cancel. Nowhere on the site lets you cancel. HSBC stopped the payment. Cancelled my card. I got an email saying they refunded my money and gave me back the £1.90 Changing my stars to 4 as they responded promptly. It is a pity that their business practice lacks transparency, as it is such an easy site to use and I got a cover letter out of it. (Job pending).

Scam. Subscribed for £0.90 but they took £29.90.
Waiting to dispute this payment and cancel subscription with my bank because I don't trust this company to cancel my subscription. I cancelled my bank card as well. Waiting for a new card. This company is a complete fraud.

Scam. They will take 29.90 every month if you don’t cancel. And they make it hard to do so. HOW TO CANCEL. you NEED a laptop. log in to your account. click the account icon on the top right. then click ‘account details’. On the left side of the page you should see a button called “cancel”, press it. Answer their questions and be pressing the green continue button. Once it’s done you should see the page saying “your plan has been cancelled”

this is a total scam. they will take your money in a full amount and in a heart beat. I want intending to use the 7 day trial service but instead they charged me with full subscription price.

They say they will only charge you £1.90 for 7 days and then try and take the full subscription amount of £29.90 shortly after. Do not trust them. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS

All of these positive reviews must be paid/fake because not only is this a scam but the cv's themselves are terrible.

Product: They indicate you can download them as Word documents but the file is not editable so it is entirely pointless. That is an issue with a product.

My story is the same as many others. This site is an absolute SCAM!! £1.90 for a trial then have proceeded to take £29.90 from my account on 2 seperate occasions. The bank isn't much help either as the block they put on withdrawals is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. AVOID!!

"I wanted to purchase a cover letter from the website. The price was supposed to be $0.90, but after entering my card details, two transactions were made – one for $0.90 and another for USD 29.90. I haven't received the cover letter, and the money was taken. I contacted the bank, and they said they could only block the card but couldn't assist further."

It is a fraudulent site that takes your card information and charges you $29.90 after you pay $0.90. It is a website that victimizes thousands of people and still continues.

If you have signed up for any subscription with altresume, cancel your card immediately. They charged me £29.90 immediately after paying the £0.99 - they explained this by saying it was a pre authorisation (despite the fact it had left my account). I cancelled my subscription, but again, 7 days later they charged me £29.90. They are illegally keeping your payment details and will continue to charge. “Unsubscribing” online does nothing.

As all the other I have applied 1.9$ program on altresume but instead of this amount I have been charged 29.93$. If you want to do business be honest about it. Money doesn't come from a tree for people like me. I work like hell to pay my debts despite you. And of course I couldn't find any customer contact in anywhere, I messaged them on their page which I haven't received any response. I want my money back.

It's a scam. There is no option to cancel the subscription. I subscribed for 7 days yet I am charged 29.90£.

It's a scam
It's a scam. I chose the one-off payment of 0.90, which appeared on my bank statement, followed closely by another payment of £29.90! Which I guess is the subscription, which I did not authorise. How is this company still trading

Fuming - taken out £29.90 out of my account - no emails received to cancel any sort of subscription. It comes up as wgreatcv in statement. I’ve not used the service other than a 99p initial peek - how do I get my money back?

PLEASE AVOID!

I agreed to pay £1.90 for a 7-day trial to help me with my covering letter.

I logged onto my bank and saw that they had taken the £1.90 but also £29.90 without my permission! I called my bank and they informed me that they tried to take this money 3 times. My bank have now blocked this site from taking any more money from my account, Thankfully.

Please avoid it at all costs!
