Customer service is atrocious

Customer service is atrocious. Put in an order for a dress and a top, order did not process for 2 weeks (3 emails went unanswered), then finally got an automated email that dress was cancelled because they were actually out of stock even though it was paid for. Dress refunded. Okay, can accept that it's a systems issue although the lack of responses are annoying.

When I checked, the top was not processed, nor shipped according to their online portal, which presumably reflects the status of the order. So I asked for full cancellation of order, and full refund instead. Customer service said that top was ALREADY shipped and therefore, could not process a full cancellation.

Pointed out mismatch in their online portal tracking and their email, and asked for shipping tracking information if, as they say, order was already processed and sent out.

Got an automated email about order being processed AFTER I had already asked them to please cancel the entire order (2 times) as it was not processed yet, at least 30 hours after they stated that they had "already processed and shipped out order."

I have literally never dealt with customer service that is so unresponsive and lies about processing and shipment that I can see on their website AS WELL AS the delivery service. What is the point of lying? The customers can see when the shipping labeled was created through the delivery service as well.

The deception and overall lack of willingness to adequately deal with problems created through their own systems makes a mockery of customers.

Beware when returning your items

I ordered a dress online and got it delivered. I didn’t like the material so I returned it to the store for a refund. They charged my card at the same time as i got refunded so effectively I paid twice for the dress and have been refunded once. Customer service is pathetic. I have asked for the invoice for the charge on my card which they cannot provide obviously, but refuse to refund me this charge, forcing me to now pursue through my bank. Not surprised to now see such a poor rating here AJE need to take a good hard look at their service levels

Poor quality and horrible customer experience

Purchased a bag for $500 for a friend's birthday present. After 3 months of occassional use it broke. Store advised it was "Fair Wear and Tear" and refuses to assist. I emailed a formal complaint to customer service when my friend told me of her horrible experience and was met with a sharp and unhelpful reply.
Will not buy from Aje again.

Poor customer service

Such awful customer service! No one ever receives the call!!! I ordered a tee online and then I receive this strange email to share my card details due to a security alert.. which I did not Ofcourse and so they cancelled my order! I re ordered using another credit card and the sane thing happens again.. weird email from customer care asking for my details of card I used to order!! What the hell???

Poor manufacturing

Bought an Aje dress after a fitting with an Aje consultant at DJ’s Indooroopilly and wore it once and the seam burst. Returned it and it was replaced then wore it 3 more times and another seam burst. Aje take no responsibility. They say I need to go back to DJ’s. Interesting that they don’t guarantee their products once they have wholesaled them! Will never recommend.

There is no mention of charges in their website. I returned two dresses (my full order) and was charged £58. Customer service was incredibly unhelpful and really quite rude! I don’t think they will even update the policy to make sure future customers are aware of the charge

USA CUSTOMERS

USA CUSTOMERS: DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE. ONLY BUY FROM A LOCAL DEPARTMENT STORE OR RETAILER with a good return/exchange policy!

First off, everything on their site that's final sale is no returns or exchanges whatsoever. Their sizing calculator is totally OFF. If you're ordering from the USA, beware that everything is in Australian sizing and their customer service won't make any exceptions for you. An AUS size 6 is a US size 2. I am a US size 6 so I needed an AUS size 10!! Everything I ordered had to be sold to the real real.

I made the mistake of purchasing AGAIN directly from their website because their stuff is so cute and was on sale on their website. The second order they cancelled saying they over sold the item and didn't have any stock of it(yet it shows it's in stock online). I still haven't seen the refund.

The third order I made, I received some strange email from an email account with an @icloud.com email pretending to be AJE customer support saying I need to show proof of my purchase or they will cancel my order. There is no way to contact Aje customer support other than email and when you do they're not the friendliest.

Sizing

Although I appreciate the quality of the linen fabric in the designer top I purchased, I am extremely dissatisfied with the sizing discrepancies.
The sizing does not align with the descriptions provided.
The linen is excellent, but the sizing issues have left me very disappointed.
I recommend addressing and clarifying the sizing information to avoid confusion for customers.
Specific improvements in this regard would greatly enhance the overall shopping experience.

Refused return or even exchange after Christmas period

I purchase $800 worth of items and was told i had until 15th January to return them due to christmas/NY period. I tried to return them to the Brisbane store on 12 January and was refused on the basis that their return policy is 7 days. The stock was literally brand new (not sale items) and they still refused to allow me to even exchange for something else. Will not buy anything from here again.

Over 5 weeks and my order has not even been PROCESSED

If I could give a 0 I would. Horrible customer service. I bought a pair of shoes and after 5 weeks they had not even been processed. I contacted them and they said they are working through delays sending my item out. Even stating they have 24 hour shifts 7 days a week but can’t ship my product! Asked for a refund and said they will try but took forever. They are hopeless and seriously in need of better service cause it’s dragging them down!

Poor Customer Service

Purchased a couple of items on their Black Friday sale for Christmas presents, I followed up 2 times for an eta on the order to here nothing. I get an email yesterday to inform me that my order had been cancelled and I would be receiving a refund as there was an error and the don’t have the stock I ordered. Extremely poor and disappointing to find out 4 days before Christmas. Own your mistakes and provide some level of customer service as I feel 1 star is too much! off to the shops I guess to buy some new presents for Christmas, last thing I want to do with 3 days to go!

This company has got absolutely no idea…

This company has got absolutely no idea on service, I ordered 3 items over a month ago I requested a refund over 10 times and emailed my frustration, I then received only 2 which weren't even packed correctly in fact no care for the customer and I paid money for these, I then advised that a item was missing and that I want a refund still no concern or answer instead just a stupid email saying the same thing, I requested Manager details and no respond yet. I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN and I would not recommend to order there products there service is appalling.

The review is based on customer service and assistance with customer transactions - they send you an email from head office stating they’ll help however the situation lingers and the resolution has no time frame - they said I could action a refund from an online purchase that was delayed due to their operational logistic services and then I was denied and presented with arrogance and rudeness from the parramatta store - when I emailed head office regarding this matter they just put a bandaid on the issue and said we are happy to refund you the item - the refund was not the result I wanted - however due to their lack of GENUINE SERVICE - this is the outcome from a simple matter , all that needs to be done is for a Manager at head office to pick up the phone and SPEAK to the customer, to come up with a solution they actually want.

Poor customer experience

Absolutely poor service is what you can expect from Aje. They charge premium and project themselves to be a luxury brand but act cheap! You will 100% have a better shopping experience at budget brands than Aje. I ordered online on 26th Nov and still haven’t received any communication about when my order will be dispatched. When I followed up last week, I received a very generic long email basically talking about delays but whats interesting was how comfortable they are in arrogantly telling customers to wait 15+ days for a dispatch notification! What is 15+ days .. a month or a year? I have received deliveries quicker from overseas than I have from Aje! And, Please invest in your staff’s training otherwise they’ll tank the rest of your investment in infrastructure and design.

Never Again

I should’ve read this forum before spending $$$ on their Black Friday Sale online.
What a MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT.
EPIC FAIL !!! Never again.
After more than 2 weeks of not hearing anything about the progress of shipments/delivery, they have the guts to keep sending their marketing campaign flooding my emai Inbox with the latest one of “SORRY OFFER” discount voucher.
WTH??? Who will shop for some more item that we will never get in time???? Ever?
This company surely doesn’t know basic customer service in operating their business.
I will never again shop with them online.

I wanted to take a moment to express my overall love for your brand and the products you offer. While we may not fit the typical image of the customers who walk through your doors, we firmly believe that it is important not to judge people based on their appearances or assume their financial status.

However, I must say that I was quite disappointed with the level of customer service we received during our recent visit at the Chermside shop. It seemed as though there was a lack of awareness or understanding of unconscious biases, which led to a less-than-ideal experience for us.

I kindly request that you take the time to educate yourselves and your staff about unconscious biases and the importance of treating all customers equally and with respect. By doing so, you can ensure that every customer who walks through your doors feels valued and appreciated, regardless of their appearance or background.

I love their products but their…

I love their products but their SHIPPING TIMES ARE AWFUL. You will purchase something and 5 days later still not tracking information, it hasn't been sent out, but they'll charge you $10 shipping and make you wait 2 fricken weeks.

Faulty website and inadequate customer service

Aje's website auto-populated an old address linked to my card and didn't give me an opportunity to change it. Despite the order not having been packed or sent yet (over the weekend), Aje refused to allow me to collect in store or change to express postage. I was told if I hadn't received tracking details within a week (lol), I could get in touch with them to follow up. A week from today is one day before the wedding I was hoping to wear the dress to. Having refused me click and collect, I would really love to understand why Aje customer service representatives can't at least tick a box in their system and allow me to pay extra for express postage on a $495 item (!!). This has left a bad taste in my mouth, trying to spend a decent amount of money on an Australian designer label and I won't be shopping with Aje again.
