AIPT's administration team are awesome. Just spoke with Emjay about my current course and she answered all my questions and gave me valuable information about what my options are.

Fast responses and very friendly attitude

I first came across AIPT with the goal of deepening my knowledge of Nutrition. Becoming a Nutritionist has been a passion of mine since high school, but I was hesitant to go straight to Uni in case it wasn’t the right path for me. Studying the 10967NAT Diploma of Nutrition has provided me with valuable knowledge on the importance of healthy eating for long-term health and wellbeing.

The Nutrition Faculty has offered ongoing support throughout my studies (via email and schedule calls), always providing guidance when I was unsure about a question or tasks. This course also highlights the importance of understanding my professional limitations as a Nutritionist, effective communication with other health professionals, and the responsibilities that come with my role.

I will admit that the length and workload of the course was more than I initially expected. However, this is not to say it was a negative- it challenged me in the best way. It pushed me to structure my week wisely and to apply myself fully, and as a result I came away with far more knowledge and practical skills that I had anticipated.

Finding workplacement was my biggest challenge. I would advice to start looking for work placement earlier in the course, and give yourself atleast 2 months before the end of your course to complete placement.

Completing this course has given me the confidence to pursue a career in nutrition and continue furthering my education in this field.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to refine the layout of tasks and ensure questions work worded clearly Some tasks contained errors or unclear wording, but the Nutrition support team was always very helpful in providing clarifications. I definitely would recommend this course for PTs or individuals who are interested in starting a career in the fitness industry to expand their knowledge on why nutrition a key component to reaching health and fitness goals.

My experience with AIPT has been excellent. From the beginning the team was supportive, responsive and committed to helping students succeed. The flexibility of the online learning model was perfect for balancing study with my family and work life. highly recommend for anyone pursuing a fitness quali.

My experience with AIPT was very poor!
All I can say is do your research.

I enquired and spoke to a consultant in person, he weighed up everything and he suggested an online approach was in my best interest.

After expressing my concerns that I wouldn’t be able to provide certain criteria the consultant assured me that everything was online and I could complete both the cert 3 and 4 from the comfort of my own home and so I opted for the “online fast track option”

After receiving access to the online portals I quickly realized that it wasn’t the case, there were multiple parts that required a little more and then it even got worse during my Cert 4 where I was expected to make a short film. To say the least, I felt like I was lied too, the online assessments and process is almost identical as the “in class” option and all assignments I felt weren’t designed to retain information.

The marking side of things is a joke, I had multiple friends that were doing and had completed there certification through AIPT so when I hit a little snag I would call on them, they of course would assist and then when the marking came along I would get it wrong but they would have gotten it questions right, hhhmmmm odd.

Towards the end I was getting messages that I can get an extension because let’s face it I wasn’t going to finish my assignments and before even asking if I needed help they wanted to talk money. I informed them I wasn’t gunna pay and that shocked them.

The only part of my experience that was good was after I requested a refund.
I was fed up with the inconsistency in marking, didn’t feel like I had any support and the feedback when I got questions wrong was so vague and didn’t help.

I was then called by the Fitness Education Outcomes Manager who re-lit the fire that I once had for fitness and helped me get the rest of eveything done. 5 stars to Jared.

I’m not saying don’t go with AIPT I’m just saying my experience was poor I felt lied too, discriminated, robbed. I was so passionate about personal training and fitness and I believe this experience has definitely taken some of that passion away from me. The mental strain, frustration, exhaustion, neglection, etc has actually made me decide I no longer want to be a PT.

This review is my honest experience with AIPT regarding their online fast track option. I do feel that my experience would have been rather different under different circumstances but sometimes you don’t have other options. I hope that this helps

The Certificate III is well aligned with the national certificate requirements and it is designed to get the basis knowledge for entering the fitness industry. The program is very complete and well structured. The certificate motivated me to get deeper insight into the medical area and retake my studies in Anatomy & Physiology. I loved the anatomical part and the posture assessment modules. I would recommend to make the material more brief and avoid hundred of pages repeating the same information. For students it is a bit discouraging to invest time on reading that repeat the same information and keep it summarised is a key component. Working with a master recognised book will make it more interesting and will aim to be like an University. I loved the extra support online classes provided. they were of great support and helped understand my position and comprehension about assignments. I highly recommend the institute and do not regret enrolling with the team.
