The tour guide Tom was kind and very informative! It's such a unique experience to be able to kayak near a glacier!

Veronica was the best!! She was very knowledgable, provided clear directions, she was very attentive and had great energy! We climbed very close to the wall. She threw in a few extras where she hooked us up to a rope for a view of the blue ice and created a path for us to see a blue hole in the ice up close. It’s an experience we will never forget!

Our Guide was Laura and I can't compliment her enough! She was new to the team and was in Thailand prior to Silfra Fissure. She was so kind to everyone and made the experience even more incredible. She said she was planning to be there throughout the winter. Coming from Thailand that is quite a change. She was a 5 out of 5 points! Highly recommend!!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH ARCTIC ADVENTURES - I wish I had read more of the reviews about how arctic adventures cancels bookings with little notice and then does not provide good support.

We had a glacier snowmobiling booking with them that was abruptly cancelled a few days before with no reasoning. They said it was due to "operational reasons" but would not elaborate and it did not make any sense as they had not cancelled their time slot an hour earlier for the same trip. They also refused to make space on the earlier trip for our group because it was booked up, which while I get, I feel like they could've added some space given the circumstances.

EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE - they had cancelled our booking 4 days before. We had asked if we could do the time an hour earlier but they refused to make space and told us they could only support a more expensive private tour option for the time we had originally purchased.

Their support was very unwilling to help, and their were no compromises on concessions they were willing to make after putting our group out.

Our snowmobile tour was absolutely perfect!!! We came with high expectations and the tour met all of them, especially because of the fabulous guide (I don't have her name but she is the one who picked up the group from Geysir at 12 noon). She added so many interesting stories about the place and was truly knowledgeable, service oriented and passionate about what she does, it was an absolute pleasure touring with her that even the bus ride was fun and interesting. We will most definitely recommend this trip to others

The South Shore Adventure day with Icelander Paul was amazing. It was a small group, very nicely organized with great stops along the way - even the ones that weren't on the list. Paul is an amazing guide telling us everything about geography, history, Icelandic saga's, culture - we truly felt engulfed in Iceland. Would recommend!

The tour stops themselves were nice, and we got lucky with the weather holding out while we were out of the bus. Our driver was knowledgeable and gave recommendations for when we got back to Reykjavik as well. The negative aspect of this tour was the bus ride; about half the time we spent on the road we were being thrown around the bus from side to side/up and down. I got motion sick near the 1.5 hour mark and I rarely get motion sickness. The road combined with how fast the bus was moving and the bouncy suspension put a damper on my mood to start the tour off, but that is out of AA's control- just be cautious if you get motion sickness or have a bad back/neck if you book this tour. We also arrived back to the city about 1.5 hrs later than was estimated so many shops/grocery stores were closed by then.

We did the Vatnajokull glacier hike with Christian (from Czech Republic) and Fjallsárlón boat tour with Max (from France) and both were amazing tour guides who demonstrate great excitement for the tour and answered all the questions very patiently. Huge thank to both the guys and the entire Arctic Adventure team we met during both adventures!

I am absolutely thrilled with this 8-day Iceland tour! It covered all the natural and cultural highlights I was hoping to experience in Iceland, and the itinerary was so well designed.

We were also incredibly lucky with the weather — the sun seemed to be on our side whenever we were out exploring and enjoying the amazing outdoor activities, from glacier hiking and whale watching to relaxing in thermal baths. It made every experience even more special.

And, of course, a huge thank you to the wonderful group of people I had the pleasure of sharing this journey with. The great company, beautiful scenery, incredible adventures, and perfect weather made this trip truly unforgettable. I honestly couldn't have asked for more!

We booked the tour for my birthday. The weather was perfect. Our guide was really friendly, competent, helpful and relaxed. And he did a great job as photographer

Hands-down, this was the best way for our mother-daughter duo to travel Iceland! We experienced geothermal areas and lava fields, a soak in a beautiful lagoon, incredible waterfalls, northern lights, a glacier hike, Icelandic horses and whales! The schedule allowed for ample time at each stop and we never felt rushed.

Our guide Jón was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. Some of those lead to real life stories about the people and culture of Iceland. When we stopped for breaks, he took the time to point out his favorite foods and candies. (our group bought a lot of those to share across the bus) Per our request, we even got to listen to Icelandic music.

At one point, our itinerary listed a museum stop that was not on our driver’s schedule. One person on our tour emailed the company and was told that this was an optional stop. None of us saw the word “optional” on our itinerary. When we questioned our driver, he immediately got on the phone (with the company) and made the correction. Within ten minutes, we were on our way to the missed stop. Jón handled this and everyone on the bus was appreciative.

The company provided us with nice clean sleeping accommodations, breakfast, a comfortable bus, beautiful scenery and a great guide. We were lucky enough to have a bus full of strangers who became friends. You won’t regret booking with Arctic Adventures!

I came into this experience with little idea of what was to come and thus little expectation. Romane, our guide, was not only an excellent cook, but an excellent guide and fantastic guy to spend the four days with. The hike itself was beyond spectacular. The only feedback I’d give to other travelers wishing to partake is a warning that if you book the jacket and pants, to know that they are only waterproof shells. I booked, thinking that they would be suitable to carry me through the temperatures that hovered zero at times - they most certainly did not. Also - day five: the glacier hike, was a little scattered and disjointed from the previous four days. A nice addition to the hike but in retrospect, probably not necessary given the long delays on the day as you meet up with two other groups and multiple other people partaking in the glacier activities.

Our Scottish guide (apologies don’t remember his name) was terrific! Very friendly and helpful with equipment. We had a terrific time. Such an adventure

We had such a wonderful time. Even the rain couldnt suck the fun out of it. We were very well prepared for the ice caves, and felt very safe.

Excellent tours, I really enjoyed getting a taste of everything Iceland has to offer. The guides were wonderful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
There was some confusion about stop #6. I would recieve and email about the stop being moved to just around the corner due to construction ( its totally cool), then the tour guide would pick up at the original location or across the street. It seems that there was some miscommunication because whomever sent the emails and the tour guides, making the morning pick up stressful, as I was dashing back and for from the original 6 stop to the new/temp 18 bus stop. I had three tours, all three originally with selected bus stop #6 and ended up getting picked up at 3 different spots.
