From beginning to end, our experience with Nordic has been exceptional. Our travel advisor, Gabby, was always helpful and returned emails quickly. All of our accommodations and meals were first class delicious. Our itinerary was perfect in terms of what we saw and how much was packed into each day. But the best part was our guide and driver, Barry and John. They made a trip an unforgettable experience and we will never forget them!! Thank you so much!!

From the process of booking the tour with Nordic Visitor, to the tour itself, the experience was exceptional. Magda with Nordic Visitor did a great job as our travel consultant, and her communication was very timely throughout the booking process. As for the tour, I believe the sites visited gave us a well rounded introduction to Scotland and it's history. The accommodations and food were excellent throughout. If you are lucky enough to get Barry Freestone as your Tour Guide and John Johnson as your Tour Bus Driver, I am willing to bet you will rank this tour as your favorite of all time! I would highly recommend Nordic Visitor, and I hope to use them for one of their other tours in the future.

This company was a pleasure to deal with. They provide detailed information at every step. From booking through to the end of the tour everything was very professional and spot on. Adjustments made to our itinerary due to weather were seamless. Accommodations, included meals and our tour guide were top notch. If we return to an area they service, we will definitely book with them again.

We had a wonderful trip. Between Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo, Stockholm was our favorite. We liked everything about Stockholm and our hotel was close enough that walking was easy. The hotel in Copenhagen was very nice, but it was pretty far from any of the sites a person would want to see. It was a pretty long walk before getting to anything. My son and I never had a day planned. We would eat breakfast and start walking. Most of our adventures were from seeing something and then walking to it. He also like being in Stockholm for the world cup match between Sweden and Poland. He was jumping up and down as much as the locals in the pub we stopped at. We really enjoyed the different restaurants and food we had in Stockholm. Copenhagen could have been better but a lot of things were closed when we were there due to the Easter Holiday. There was not as much stuff to see or do in Copenhagen as we experienced in Stockholm. In fact we enjoyed Stockholm so much, we flew back at the end of our tour and spent another evening exploring. The ship from Copenhagen to Oslo was very nice and we had calms seas which made the voyage very comfortable. Coming into Oslo is very scenic from the water. We rode around on scooters and stopped a spot and accidentally stumbled into the Mathallen Oslo Food Market. I doubt many tourist go there but we had a wonderful dinner inside. Overall, we were very happy with the trip arrangement made by Nordic Visitor. My only suggestion would be a hotel closer the center of Copenhagen to minimize the extra walking required. Frida did a very nice job for us and I am happy with her services.

We had always wanted to see Iceland, and we are glad we chose Nordic Visitor's small group, multi-day format. Our guide, Snorri Ingason, is very knowledgeable and entertaining. This was evident when, due to changing weather conditions, we were unable to drive to certain sites as planned. He was able to quickly replan and took us to several other beautiful sites that we otherwise would not have seen had we been traveling on our own.
Marko Puskas, our Nordic Visitor travel consultant, kept us informed throughout the whole vacation process, from the time we made our reservation to post-trip, with reminders and helpful packing tips.

This was our first visit to Scandinavia. Nordic Visitor helped give us a really good overview of each country as we toured along. The pre-planned self guided service was perfect for what my son and I were looking for. It was a good mix of educational and recreational experiences. They were responsive to any questions I had and did their best to accommodate any last minute changes that popped up due to the quick weather changes. I would recommend their service to anyone coming up to Scandinavia. Ellen Yee was my advisor and she did a fabulous job keeping me informed.

Our contact at Nordic Visitor was very organised, very efficient and ensured every aspect of our holiday was awesome.
We were provided with a detailed itinerary for each day, as well as vouchers for accommodation, transport, activities, food and porter service, as necessary.
Everything was very well organised, with all necessary details easy to understand.
The locations and choice of our hotels could not have been better. They were all situated close to both our transportation as well as the attractions and activities within each area.
I am pleased to say that there was only a couple of small changes to our plans and our consultant advised us immediately and, provided us with alternatives where possible .
Nodic Visitor also advised on what to pack as well as providing us details of attractions and maps of each area.
I would definitely, highly, recommend Nordic Visitor.

I can't say enough about how fantastic this company was for us. Their itinerary and planning for a three country winter Scandinavia trip was superb. Ellen Yee designed a holiday of a lifetime for us. We had occasion to phone their 24/7 line and had superb response from Frida. We will be using this company again for a future summer holiday.

Nordic Visitor was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the first contact and even until after we got home. Sofia was able to answer all of our questions and made our journey customized. She was quick in response and in communication. The entire trip was well thought out and everything was well organized. All of the vendors and everyone we encountered were absolutely amazing. We have had an amazing time on the Winter Scandinavia tour of Finland, Sweden,Denmark, Norway.

The hotels were fantastic and in such good locations close to all the transport options and main attractions.

We tried to cover all the suggestions in the notes and then we also found an Ice hockey game in Helsinki and in Oslo went to the Euro Cup Handball game.

Nordic Visitor were excellent with their communication from the beginning right until the end of the trip.

I would highly recommend Nordic Visitor and their Scandinavian tour.

Amazing amazing. Hand holding and support from Nordic Visitor every step of the way. Attentive and professional our contact Gabriela was amazing and very quick to answer emails and service our needs and create a personnalized itinerary. Gabriela was always prompt and open to giving suggestions and activities. All the travel tour companies Nordic Visitor work with were excellent and on time with very knowledgeable guides and drivers and we felt like it was money well spent. Our Hotel Frón was very central, a boutique style hotel a stones throw away from shops and restaurants and the Rainbow street which is very trendy. The room was spacious had a separate living area with a sofa/pull out bed, fridge and small kitchenette. Also walking to the pick up bus stop #6 or 5 was only a 5 to 10 minute walk. Nordic visitor arranged airport transfers and we got an amazing welcome pack when we got to the hotel - full of our vouchers for activities planned, breakdown of our itinerary plus coloured bound book with explanations and tips. A great keepsake which I will cherish and will be able to look back in for years to come. Highly recommend using Nordic Travel they are a true partner for ensuring you have an amazing experience on your travels.

From the first initial email to the final day in Iceland Nordic Visitor were a full companion and support on this once in a lifetime trip. After booking the package I desired, I was assigned Gabriela who was my contact. She was attentive and answered all my questions and suggested activities. Also prior to arrival I would get information emails of what to pack and what to expect etc which just made our excitement grow for the trip but also ensured we knew what to expect. The itinerary that was customer built to fit our travel needs, I was desperate to see the Northern Lights at every opportunity, intertwined with visiting the Golden Circle+ blue lagoon and more. We saw the northern lights 4 times in a 6 day period (so grateful) The hotel was a street away from 'Rainbow street' with all shops and restaurants at hand. The hotel room (Hotel Frón) was comfortable with a separate living room and kitchenette + fridge (so was possible to self cater if we wanted). The activities and pick ups were so amazing and efficient. Nordic gave us a welcome pack printing our whole activities and vouchers and the bound book with do's and tips and information about everything and anything is such a beautiful keepsake. Totally a trip of a life time made easy by using Nordic Visitors.

I chose Nordic Visitor because they offered a great travel package with many options of things to see with a guide. Elena Sofia was my travel consultant and did a great job scheduling my trip, answered questions and provided great customer service. Aron H was our guide and did an amazing job showing us the landscape, educating us on Icelandic culture, re arranged our trip when the weather got bad and got us to all the locations safe. I recommend him highly. And the hotels were great. It was an out of this world experience that will not be forgotten. Already looking into my next trip.

Ellen planned our trip to Scandinavia and did a great job. She was organized and responsive to all our questions and concerns. The various transfers were well-timed out and hotels were always top-notch and in good locations that made getting around by foot completely doable. We would not hesitate to use Ellen and Nordic Visitor for future trips.

I was amazed at the welcome package left for me at the hotel. It had a very comprehensive booklet with information and maps on all the places we would be visiting, and more. It will be very useful if I ever go back to Scotland. It also had a full map of Scotland highlighting the stops, routes and hotels. The tour guide, Marc was excellent and well organised. Eddie, the driver was fun (but he should have come with subtitles - I had trouble understanding his Glaswegian accent 😂). I would recommend this tour and this company to anyone. The countryside was beautiful and the history fascinating.

Nordic Visitor arranged all the essential experiences to make a northern Norway visit magical.

We did the Best of Lapland Complete - Rovaniemi. I felt like they doubled the price of everything, and planned it poorly. For example, they booked an igloo night but had us checking out at 8:00 to wait in the city for a pickup for another tour. When we checked in the receptionist couldn't believe it and helped us try to change everything. But Nordic is very rigid on changes and refunds and credits. I could have booked it all myself very easily and saved thousands of dollars with a better plan, use of time and accommodations.

Very disappointing experience with Northern Lights Norway Classic. The itinerary was extremely basic, with meaningful activities limited to just two days, despite the exorbitant price charged. Overall value for money was poor. The Northern Lights chase felt misleading and poorly organized, and did not match what was advertised. Expectations were set high, but the actual delivery was minimal. I would not recommend this package.

Norway in a Nutshell Tour...we had booked a Norway in a Nutshell Tour and were extremely pleased with the product. Starting with the communication. The documentation was provided in a timely manner. The hotels chosen by Nordic Visitor were fantastic. They were all within 3-5 minutes walk from the train station, clean, with good breakfasts. The location of the hotels was also excellent as it was convenient for any sightseeing we were doing in the designated city. The train, fjord ferry, bus, train connections were on time and well planned. We recommend the option for staying one night in Flam as doing the journey from Oslo to Bergen would be a very long day - and if you are doing it in the fall/winter you will be doing a portion of the fjord cruise in the dark. I highly recommend Nordic Visitor and the Norway in a Nutshell Tour.

We've used Nordic Visitor four times over the past seven years and have had a terrific experience each time! We will be using them again. Why?

Prompt, thorough, and complete service every time. We actually look forward to seeing what interesting and unique hotels they've picked every night. Seamless logistics, impeccably organized and presented, that with helpful travel guides allow us to spend our preparation time focused on what we want to do in the destination cities.

On the few occasions on which we had some difficulties (not due to NV), they have been very helpful and responsive.
