A fantastic memory that will live with us forever! We traveled on the 6-day group tour around Iceland with Oskar and had the most fabulous experience we could have hoped for! Iceland’s natural beauty coupled with Oskar’s guidance was the perfect combination! Take care of your precious country … it’s a gem. Thank you for sharing its beauty with us!!

The organization of managing 12 people was seamless and efficient. The shear amount of sites we explored, visited, hiked were great. And what we saw and did was extraordinary: hiking behind waterfalls, hiking on glaciers, exploring ice caves, watching glaciers float out to sea, the unbelievable landscapes. The accommodations were new, comfortable and very well laid out for traveling. The only reason we did not give the tour 5-stars is because we were in the last row of the van and it was very difficult to hear our tour guide over the speaker; the road noise drowned him out.

We had a great experience doing the easy glacier hike. Our guide Józefina (hope I spelled her name right) was really great and shared a lot of interesting information about the glacier while ensuring everyone's safety!

We loved the hiking with our guide « Ramon from Canari islands ». We were very lucky, the weather was great.
We had a 4WD but it was our first time in Island and we were not sure with the F-road so we decided to take the tour. The pickup/dropoff in Hella was smooth. The views were stunning and our guide took time to explain the place 😍. We also had time for the thermal bath. It is not a beginner hiking though but for us it was perfect.

Our guide was great and the company made it really easy to hike the glacier.

A 4 star to the tour guide/driver Chao who is very helpful and friendly. Was sick during the trip and he drove me to a pharmacy to get medication after settling down all tour members at the hotel. He's always around when we need him. The tour itinerary is pretty packed, and day 5 was especially a long drive to the night. Its ok if you like long road trip. An issue for me was grabbing sandwich for dinner or next day lunch (if hotel for the night has a fridge) at Bonus supermarket along the way. Location can be that remote in Iceland.

I loved everything we saw. Our guide Elisa was excellent. I just wish the food was cheaper.

Absolutely perfect trip. Thank you Arctic Adventures! Our tour guide, Margaret (Maggie) was outstanding. She kept us on schedule, took great care of us, and was extremely knowledgeable on everything. I will be coming back to Artic Adventures for my next trip to Iceland.👍

We would give 6 stars if we could. It was such a breath taking experience and with an incredibly fun and knowledgeable guide. Our guide’s name was Helge and he absolutely rocked. The glaciers were spectacular. A must do if you are in Iceland.

Our tour guide Storm was exceptionally wonderful. We forgot our hiking poles and he let us use his poles. He also helped us with the challenging sections of the hike. We really appreciate his kindness.
The tour is very good to see the beautiful landscape of iceland. Definitely recommend it.

They are professionals in every aspect of the bussiness. I made few mistakes while booking my tours from overseas and they immediately advised and suggested what I should do. Their tour guides are very well trained ed, knowledgeable and most importantly very accomodating while sticking to the schedule. Alex and Lucia are remarkable human beings and made really good impression and long lasting impression about Iceland with us.

I found Arctic Adventures on the Internet when I was researching our trip and they offered a variety of trips in terms of number of days and locations throughout Iceland which appealed to me. I had a number of emails with the company prior to our trip and they were always prompt in responding and provided helpful information.

Unfortunately our airline went on strike the day we were supposed to leave and I had to cancel our original tour package and rebook 5 weeks later. I had a few calls with the company even though there was a 5 hour time difference but everything was rescheduled quickly and we even booked a longer tour.

We took the 7 day Ring Road tour and it was excellent. The tour van was comfortable (although the seats were very compact and it was hard to buckle the seatbelts) and only accommodated 19 passengers. All of our luggage was placed in a trailer hitched to the van, which was convenient.

Since this particular tour was broken up into 2 parts, 6 day Ring Road tour and 1 day around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, we had 2 different tour guides. Our first guide Thruster was excellent. He was very entertaining and provided lots of information and history of Iceland. He kept our crew together and on time and could navigate the roads quickly and efficiently. There was lots of miles and many different types of terrain every day but he ferried us around with ease and without any issues. Our second guide Magnusdan was amazing and he also told many stories about Iceland. He also covered lots of miles for the last day of the tour and got us back to Reykjavik on time.

All of the hotels that we stayed at were very good and the buffet breakfasts were included in the price of the tour. The Hotel Laugarbakki was outstanding. The Wilderness Center was unique and very rustic.

The cost of the tour was fairly reasonable given how much traveling there was and the logistics of putting this tour together. There were other options for this tour, you could take the basic tour or the adventure tour which we took. It included 2 additional add ons with the glacier hike and the whale watching tour. There also another add on which was the Earth Lagoon (formerly known as the Mývatn Nature Baths). All were well organized.

This trip is very action packed and there was lots of ground to cover every day. Also this trip had a fair bit of hiking and mountain climbing, so if you are looking for a relaxing trip this isn’t the trip for you. We had a few couples on our tour in their 70’s and they keep up with all activities, but if you have issues walking or hiking this trip might not be for you.

If you want to see as much of Iceland in a 7 day tour, this would be the one to take.

What usually makes a tour exceptional? Is the tour guide. In this case, our guide was accommodating knowledgeable and informative. In regards to all the places we visited, as well as general Iceland questions. The one suggestion I have is to improve accommodations at the various locations. But I understand that they are limited in the more remote locations.

Very well organized

This is a well run tour company. All the arrangements and the schedule were perfectly organized. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. When I return in the summer I'll book with them again.

Just completed a wonderful 3 day tour of Iceland with Orvar who was a wonderful guide with a dry icelandic sense of humor and really made the trip for us. Stayed up with us through the first night so that we could all see the elusive Northern Lights and took great photos of the individual group members with his well honed picture taking skills that came out great. He also kept a close eye on the weather for the three days and made adjustments to the itinerary so we could have the optimum weather conditions for the particular sights. He claimed to be the best driver in iceland and I have no arguments there. Go BVB

The guides who led us on both our hike and our 6-Day Around Iceland tour were excellent. Lukhas for the 4 day hike was not only the guide, but also the chef, and Ronan for the bus tour was the guide and the driver!! They really made the tour - their knowledge was exceptional.
