The tour guide was informative just…
The tour guide was informative just enough to tell us everything we need to know about the next stop and our surroundings. All breaks gave us enough time to explore the area and walk around. Needless to say how beautiful and fascinating each location was!
Great guide
Great guide. Didn't get wet through the dry suit. Enjoyed a cookie and hot drink after.
Unforgettable experiences
Unforgettable experiences, super well organised, knowledgeable and helpful guide Siggi and the Adventure Hotel was great. Would throughly recommend this trip to anyone
Our tour guide Franklin made the tour…
Our tour guide Franklin made the tour 100% I have no idea how he had so much energy from the minute he picked us up until our drop off. He shared so many interesting stories about Icelandic culture. This was way more than just a scenic tour. We really felt like we came away more informed about Iceland and the awesome folks that are lucky enough to live in this beautiful place. Dayna and Josh 😊
We really enjoyed the 5-Day Snæfellsnes…
We really enjoyed the 5-Day Snæfellsnes Peninsula and South Iceland Tour and saw an incredible amount of Iceland. Overall, it was a great experience.
We did have two different guides, which was less than ideal. Our first was very relaxed, while the second kept a much tighter schedule. I understand the need to stay on track, but at times we felt rushed and would have loved more time to explore. Honestly, this might be even better as a six-day tour.
The final drop-off was also a little confusing, as everyone was scheduled to return to their pickup hotel even though most were staying elsewhere, so that process could be improved.
One tip: give yourself a min of 24 hours in Reykjavik. We were told we wouldn't need much time there, but we wished we'd had more time to wander and explore. Overall, a really enjoyable trip and a fantastic way to see a lot of Iceland!
An excellent guide
An excellent guide Gautier B, good organization, great meals, informative, caring and friendly.
Our guide Guna was very knowledgeable…
Our guide Guna was very knowledgeable and approachable. She kept us informed whilst travelling, in our case provided information on Iceland which we were not aware of. Her driving was good and her beanie placement on side mirrors enabled easy identification of our bus
Iceland delivers!
Great guide and a terrific experience overall.
lava tubes and the Silfra fissure
We visited lava tubes and the Silfra fissure on one day. Was very good. Efficient pick up and drop off.
Awesome Awesome Awesome
First off, we were not expecting to see icebergs floating on the Jökulsárlón Lagoon. What an amazing place and experience.
Staff were super helpful in getting us sorted with our survival suits. Comfortable ride to the Zodiac launch site. Fabulous driver of the Zodiac, Sunday 6th Sept at 1405h.
We would not hesitate to recommend Artic Adventures for this tour.
All the best, Philip and Vicki Berkhout, Australia

Subject: How Was Your Iceland Adventure?
Our trip was a wonderful experience because of the Icelandic scenery and food (despite the prices) and because of our guide, Ziggy. It would be even more wonderful if there were more explanation of the geology. I am a retired geologist and I've noticed on many trips through interesting terrains elsewhere that the experience could be enhanced by a more detailed explanation of the rocks. This is especially true for Iceland, which is geologically unique. Our guide did his best with this but I would suggest that you find someone with a deep knowledge of the geology and get them to give a brief course to your tour guides on highlights worth mentioning. There should be people at the university who can do this. Someone once wrote that a traveller who does not know geology is like someone in an art gallery where most of the paintings are turned to face the wall. I've found this to be true and am usually glued to the window of the bus.

We really enjoy the trip
We really enjoy the trip. We were lucky with the weather
I was impressed by seeing lava smoking. I learnt a lot during this tour, my partner loved it as well.
The tour guide was fantastic, (Urla i think) she was very polite and shared good information. Thank you !!

Some hotels were unacceptable
The trip was really great. The guide was wonderful. The hotels were not. We did stay in 3 hotels that were fine, but there were two that were TERRIBLE. Everyone in my group was disappointed with two of them. They were the "Wilderness Center" and the Hotel Hof. Both need serious renovation.

A great day!
Neil’s our transport driver from Reykjavík to base camp was absolutely awesome: professional, courteous, knowledgeable and he took wonderful care of the whole group. The ice cave excursion was really unique to us, and our guide for it was also a good one who answered our questions, shared interesting knowledge about Iceland and the glacier / ice cave and took good care of us. Thank you for a great day!
fantastic guide!
fantastic guide, great itinerary, perfect timing
It was a really great experience for me…
It was a really great experience for me and my girlfriend we had a really great time on the snowmobiles on Langjökul and the ice cave was amazing we want to thank Maddy for being a amazing guide for us and taking her time to make it special for us
Had a great time but not a guarantee
Our guide was excellent. We were lucky to get an Icelandic guide that added so much to the experience. With that said most of the guides are not Icelandic. It is quite the challenge for one guide to manage (and cook for) 16 customers. Again we were fortunate with the guide we had. The food was really good but a little on the light side, particulary vegetables, fruits, and trail mix. We should of supplemented more with our own food. Hut accomodations are always tight, but these felt more claustrophobic (with the roof often less than a foot above your head) and less ventilated, not their fault

5 day Snaefellsnes & South Coast
Our guide, Siggi, was excellent. The tour was great with a good number of stops and adequate time at each.
Two Tours, Two Great Experiences
Took the 7-day Ring Road and 1-day Vestmannaeyjar Islands tours. Both were terrific. Comfortable Sprinter vans with knowledgeable guides and interesting co-travelers. Didn't see the Northern Lights on the Ring tour due to weather, nor did we see any puffins in nests due to the timing of our island tour, but there were plenty of other sights to see--waterfalls and volcanoes on both tours, and glaciers, canyons, beaches and a horse farm, too, on the Ring tour. There were only seven passengers on both tours I took, which made for less crowding and more getting to know one another. In fact, after days together on the Ring tour, we were collectively making screeching sounds every time our guide/driver, Karl, turned a corner--silly behavior, but illustrative of the comfort we felt with one another and the fun we had!
