Arctic Adventures Anmeldelser

Oli Rogg, our guide for the 6-day tour, was experienced, caring, and exceptionally well-organized. He shared fascinating history and information about Iceland throughout the journey. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and will definitely book with Arctic Adventures again.

Our local Icelandic tour guide was friendly helpful and knowledgeable making for the most enjoyable trip. I would have no hesitation in recommending the 6 Day Arctic Adventures tour around Iceland and indeed have done so on multiple occasions already!

Sendri was an amazing tour guide - knowledgeable and well spoken. All activities were well planned and easy to follow. We saw more of Iceland than we would have planning the trip solo.

our tour guide wasn't friendly or very helpful. He was hard to understand and when asked a question he wouldn't always answer, felt very ignored. I am not a fast walker and told him that from the beginning - he wouldn't slow down for myself and a few others. I wouldn't recommend your company to anyone. It was very unfortunate that we spent so much money to not feel very valued as a customer!

The hotels were above expectations, our guide, Vignur, was excellent! He was informative, funny and went the extra mile to provide an outstanding experience. The tour itself was very comprehensive and we saw so much of the various topography of Iceland. It was pretty amazing.

This tour of the Katla glacier hike was amazing 🤩 Our guide Ale was so sweet, he also helped you out whenever you needed it, especially getting the perfect picture on the glacier! Thank you again for an amazing experience!

Graham was a fabulous guide. Very knowledgeable and invested in making sure you see the northern lights. Highly recommend

The whole day was fantastic! Our guide Nail was awesome! Made us feel safe and comfortable while also having fun. From getting ready and getting undressed the whole day was seem less.👍🏻👍🏻

Great guide gave us a unique and informative tour. It was the first time we even saw a glacier this close

This was such a great experience. The helpful staff was great. Everyone was outfitted quickly and efficiently. The cave was super cool. And the snowmobiling was a fantastic addition. Maddie and Haffy were both the best. Maddie gets an extra point because she was my guide.

Very pleased with my Arctic Adventures experience! The 7 Day Adventure Package was a great blend of activities, sightseeing, and cultural experiences. 10/10 would recommend this company to anyone looking to do a guided tour around the Ring Road!

The experience was well organized and our guide, Lily, was knowledgeable and an excellent instructor. We loved our glacier adventure!

It was great, the views were spectacular, good guided, great

Finley was an excellent guide through the beautiful landscape. I would have liked poles instead of a ice pick

Unfortunately, this was an extremely disappointing experience.

We paid almost $700 for this tour, but in the end we completely missed it because of an organizational error.

Our booking confirmation stated the meeting point as N1 Hella, without providing an exact address. Since the information was not clear enough, we emailed the company in advance to confirm the meeting point. On the morning of the tour, we also called the company and specifically asked them to confirm that we were waiting at the correct location. Their manager confirmed that we were in the right place.

Despite this, we later discovered that the guide was waiting for us at a completely different location — Base Camp, a place that had never been communicated to us. The guide eventually left without us.

We did absolutely everything possible on our side: we arrived on time, contacted the company by email in advance, and even called again on the morning of the tour specifically to make sure we were at the correct meeting point.

Afterwards, the company responded by saying that they were “just an intermediary.” However, we purchased and paid almost $700 for the tour through them, received the meeting instructions through them, and their own representative confirmed our location that morning.

We have the emails and booking confirmation showing the meeting point we were given, and the company can also review the recording of our phone conversation.

We missed an expensive tour not because we were late or went to the wrong place on our own, but despite repeatedly checking and confirming the meeting point with the company.

Simply saying that you are “only an intermediary” does not resolve the fact that your customer was given incorrect information and lost a nearly $700 tour as a result.

This was an unacceptable level of organization and customer service.

The lagoon experience was magical. The captain (lady) of the zodiac made the whole adventure so relaxing.

We had a fabulous time on our 4-day tour. Both Valdi (3 day South Coast) and Lucky (Into the Glacier) were excellent guides. Our only disappointment was the quality of the sound system on board which made it difficult to hear all of the commentary. A number of our fellow travellers had the same issue. Otherwise, a very well organised, fun and good value experience in a wonderful country. Thank you!

I had a great time hiking the glacier. I did the Glacier Wonders easy hike. I choose it for timing purposes. But if I had more time I would have chose moderate or higher to get more out of the hike. But overall enjoyed the beginner friendly hike. My tour guide was sweet and very informational. We learned how to put on crampons, walk up and down a glacier, hiked up to a reasonable height and took cool photos. The host was helpful with capturing photos for us. We had adults up to 60-70 years old hiking with us. So I believe this is a good introductory level for all fitness levels. I would say give it try. You won’t be disappointed.

The first tour on boat to spot the Northern Lights was canceled. And I have not received the reimbursement. Please let me know the status

I went on the Glacier Xtreme on the Sept 17th and the Blue Ice on the 19th.

For Glacier Xtreme, my guide was Josh, he gave us a lot of fun facts about the glacier. The highlight was the 66m hole he dropped us into for our final ice climb session. I only dropped five meters into it, because the abyss was scary, but the experience so worth it.

For Blue Ice, my guide was Daniel. Since he knew that I went on the Xtreme two days earlier, he was extremely encouraging, and challenged me to do some harder climbs. We also climbed around the crevasse, which is super pretty.

It's definitely worth it to do both.
