I wouldn't even give it one star. Absolutely appalling service from start to finish. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
My experience with Advantage Finance has been extremely disappointing.
I purchased a vehicle through them and reported faults shortly after purchase. I also had issues obtaining my warranty documentation, despite requesting it. As the vehicle developed serious engine problems, I provided extensive independent evidence, including diagnostic reports, an RAC Rescue Report, invoices, photographs and an independent garage's written opinion stating that the excessive carbon build-up was consistent with a long-term fault developing before my ownership.
I spent around £1,400 of my own money on diagnostics and repairs after being asked to provide further evidence. Despite this, my complaint was rejected following a brief inspection arranged by Advantage Finance.
Throughout the process I felt I had to chase for updates repeatedly, and it seemed that the independent evidence I submitted was not given the weight it deserved.
I have now referred my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service for an independent review.
I cannot recommend Advantage Finance based on my experience. I hope the Ombudsman reaches a fair outcome.
