Customer service was awful
Customer service was awful. My 7 year old daughter is casted from the toes to the hip. We waited 3 hours in the ER for the wheelchair that was prescribed to her just to continue to get a call that they were delayed “about another hour”. We then elected to have the wheelchair delivered to our home, for what was supposed to be the “next day” then find out they are closed on the weekends. Then I had to call customer service more than eight times in two days because I kept hearing “well. Somebody will call you back.” Finally on the last call, I got somebody who was experienced and was able to get everything cleared up. There was a monthly rental fee on my account that needed to be paid before being processed however, all previous customer service representatives did not disclose that to me. They kept telling me my order was “waiting to be scheduled for delivery”, which was not the case. There was a note on the account that the only time I was not home was between 2-3pm to pick up my kids from school and the wheelchair was scheduled for 2:15 pm. Seriously! So it took us 5 days to finally get our wheelchair so my daughter. Absolutely unacceptable.

Alvin and Matt, helped me with my PT on 11.24.25 when I had my sciatica surgery and they were both great that I wanted to have them by my PT this time around again.
Terrible Experience
Getting a phone call through to this company was challenging to say the least. Six weeks before my scheduled surgery I finally got a representative on the phone and they said my doctor needed to fax them an order. My doctor faxed in a prescription for a hospital bed and after two weeks I tried to call Adapt to set up delivery. Several times, someone picked up the phone but didn't speak; one time I spent 5 minutes saying "Hello, is anyone there", with the line connected and no answer. Finally, I got through to someone with English language skills about equal to my Hindi language skills. I concluded that he was trying to tell me to have my doctor send a new prescription, office notes and my insurance information. He would not accept my insurance information from me. My doctor sent 33 pages of office notes, a new prescription and my insurance information. After several more unanswered phone calls I got through one week before my scheduled surgery and found out that they needed more information, but they couldn't explain exactly what information. I cancelled the order and my husband brought a bed downstairs from the spare bedroom. No one ever needs this kind of frustration, but it's extremely stressful when going through a medical crisis. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Reginald called about an hour before he arrived to make sure I was home. He also texted me when he was twenty minutes away.
Confusing
I received a text stating the company needed to speak with me about equipment delivery. I called and set up an appointment for delivery or what I thought was for delivery. I waited the day of the delivery and nobody showed. I called the office and the representative said delivery actually means pickup. Delivery and pickup are very different things and if that's the case the system never provided me with an address in which to pick it up. The representative tried to make it seem as though it was my fault for the confusing verbiage. The receptionist and the technician when I went to the rescheduled appointment were wonderful and their customer service was exceptional!
