Very impressed with the speed and ease of use!

Worst product support ever.

Wow their care plus extended warranty process is a proper joke, they send you and email with no link to the activation portal, you have to search all over the place and enter details in multiple places, then when you do find the place its like using a 1990s website, jumps around and confuses you, really dissapointed in their crappy process, made me very angry with this fannying around.

The Acer ASEC-1 was a big disappointment. The colour balance was very unreliable and would change constantly when shooting video. It also produced flickering in the video due to its unstable nature. The video was unsmooth. The stills were of extremely low quality. The left lens created an image which was paler in tone to the right lens. I forwarded examples of this to Acer. They said they would send to their experts who would contact me. They never did. The camera had an inbuilt battery. Which means when it wears out, it cannot be replaced.

My new laptop was very easy to setup and is working very well, this is my second Acer pc and this one was a great up date. Acer products are in my mind built to a very good standerd to make life easy for older people (like me) and reliable.

The Acer Driver and Download page is very poor. I was unable to update BIOS even after several try. All the files are in zipped format instead of executable format.
My BIOS is locked as I forgot password and I am unable to get it now as there is no instruction how to use the key provided on USB.

I have always has Acer laptops and decided to go with a desk top - so far I have not been disappointed. Great to use VERY easy to set up. Bought off Amazon through Acer store it arrived in 24hrs (should've been 4 days). So far so impressed

My claim under warranty just before it expired, was very well handled. The computer was collected from my house and redelivered to it, repaired. It was a model of how sellers should treat their customers.

Bought the laptop on 20th June, received it 23 June, used the laptop 3 times mainly to carry out updates. Switched it on Tuesday 7 July and has gone wrong, wont start up, blank screen saying configuration error, tried all aspects of win 11 repair none of which work, so have got to return to Currys for repair, replacement or refund either way not satisfactory AT ALL, it cost £425 so not cheap, not a good impression of Acer products either. HAD IT FOR 14 days only!

Having purchased an Acer laptop, I am very pleased with its performance and battery life. I carefully reviewed various laptops before purchasing and decided that the Acer Aspire 16 A16-71M was the right one for my needs.

Great product, really happy with the All in One PC

I’ve been using the Acer Predator Orion 7000 for a while now, and it’s been an excellent experience. The performance is incredibly fast, whether I’m gaming, streaming, or handling demanding workloads. Games run smoothly at high settings, load times are minimal, and the cooling system keeps temperatures under control even during long sessions. The build quality feels premium, and the RGB lighting gives it a sleek gaming look without being over the top. If you’re looking for a powerful, reliable gaming desktop, I highly recommend the Acer Predator Orion 7000.

My new Acer machine has exceeded expectations so far. It works perfectly, it is very fast, and great value for what I needed it to do. I'm yet to try/figure our the stylus (and there are one or two other useful-looking features I'm yet to get the best out of), but for a brand I'd never tried before I'm nothing but impressed so far.

Given its spec, I also amazed at its weight and size, also. Having got used to Dell XPSs and Precision models in the past, I needed something with the grunt to run some pretty intensive software and this does it with ease. Furthermore it is also very stylish, sleek and portable, and the build quality seems excellent so far also. It was a breeze to set-up and does everything I want it to.

The only issue I have had is its graphics card (although more than adequate) not being an officially certified one for SolidWorks, but that has neither stopped it working, nor producing some excellent renders of what I had designed (what prompted me to bite the bullet and buy it). All in all, the graphics and RAM seem to gobble the tasks I thrown at it with ease and with 2TB (2 x 1TB SSDs) I have all the onboard memory I could need, as well.

It is still early days, but so far I'm delighted with my purchase. I was somewhat compromised on what was available within the timeframe I needed it, but all-in-all it has turned out to be a great value, very pleasant surprise that was available the next day.

The Swift X 14 AI is the model I have - I'd recommend it to anyone given the spec on offer for the price. I also had zero trouble making/receiving Zoom/Teams calls on it also, so it is more than suitable for conferencing.

All in all, I've seldom been happier with a laptop purchase. Having watched the quality of Dells gradually decline over the years and one or two other brands I wouldn't touch again, so far so good with this, and if it stays that way it could be my new 'go to' OEM when I need something again in a few years' time.

So thanks, Acer, for building me a machine that does everything I need, at a very fair price!

Laptop would not start so returned

This laptop was exactly what I wanted for my digital photo enhancement programme. Basically, that was a 2600dpi screen with at least 17", 32GB RAM memory with a fast AMD Ryzen 9 processor and a 16GB graphics card at a competitive price. This filled the bill. I have only given it 4 stars because I CANNOT cure the persistent fault of "Load library failed with error 126" and I have tried all of the available resolutions apart from re-installing windows.

Of all my computers it is only my relatively recent 2 x Acer Desktops that have failed to get the essential Windows Secure Boot 'KEK' updates required by June 2026.

and I'm by far not the only one, see Acer Chat Forums !

They are both newer than some others that are OK, but unlike my others have not had a necessary BIOS update.

Acer do not seem to care about Support for IT products that are older than 2 years....

An ACER XC1760 purchased from Acer two years ago has a boot security problem.Got an e mail from the support centre with suggestions.When I go to check the items for updating Acer deny access.So no support system for an overpriced item that was 2 years out of date when purchased.If you need help AVOID this wretched company !

This is my first ACER gaming laptop, I Like the Laptop I bought but it grinds my gears in todays world when a big company such as Acer is still releasing old tech in todays age, an I5 in a gaming laptop is like a lamborghini with a Ford Model T engine with a turbo... it just shouldn't be done!
Like I said, the laptop is great, I chose it but there are too many variables of the same model that it's hard to find out exactly what the spec was, everything I found stated it was an I7, that it could be upgraded with a 2nd SSD and 64GB of RAM, got the laptop, it's an I5, can only accept a replacement upgraded single SSD and 32GB of RAM.
ACER really needs to step it up with the appropriate information on their website and make sure their resellers do the same

Very good laptop Aspire Go 15. Does everything I need. Stylish and feels well built and robust. Good spec for the price. Very happy.
