They only notify you off the cut off…

They only notify you off the cut off point for next day delivery when you're within it, using it as a pressure countdown to order. Once it's too late in the day, they just dont tell you. I complained to customer services about this, and she told me I should have actually come and read their t&C's before ordering. I requested to cancel the order, and she said it was too late to do so, even though I didn't receive a dispatch email until long after speaking to her.

A Chinese company

A Chinese company. Ordered on the 6th December as a Christmas present but it didn't arrive until 4th Jan. They say I can return the item for a full refund but if have to cover shipping and it will cost £30-£40?!

The dress is from Shein

Dress is ok but for £60 you don't expect to find a Shein label in it. I assumed they were the company's own designs, but it seems they just buy Shein dresses and sell them at a premium.

We used Knight Frank for the sale of our house and the purchase of our new one. Tom, Fiona and the team were really excellent. Always on top of things and super professional. After hearing of friends sales and purchases, I definitely think we had a superior experience with Knight Frank.

The problem with JoJo Maman is the…

The problem with JoJo Maman is the really inconsistent quality. I get the impression they put cutting costs way above producing anything of quality. For example, I ordered my daughter some socks, assuming they were the same quality as the ones I bought my son last year as they look to be exactly the same style, however they were really thin, with loose strands sticking through the outer sock, just terrible quality. I was also given a little wool twinset when my daughter was tiny, it said machine washable, but when washed at the correct temperature, it was ruined. I've had multiple friends talk about the awful longevity of your clothes. It's such a shame as you have the client base, but you will lose them if you fail to put providing good quality clothes above increasing profit margins.

No phone number and no response to an…

No phone number and no response to an email. I ordered something and then changed my mind five minutes later after reading negative reviews on John Lewis of the same product. Frustratingly there was no option to call so I emailed, no response until three days later when I got a dispatch email.

The item they sent me was totally…

The item they sent me was totally different to the one pictured on the sale page. They sent me a sort of knock-off of terrible quality from China, totally different material and colours. Absolute scam. I tried to sort it out with a representative but they didn’t respond after a couple of emails.

Sold out of my order but failed to tell me this

I ordered items ten days ago. I had an email today from the courier to say that two items would be arriving so emailed Emma Bridgewater to find out about the rest. They then told me they were sold out when I placed the order and they’ve just refunded me. Why not tell me this off your own accord around the time of purchase, rather than when I’ve had to chase you for the information ten days later. In fairness, they then sent a £10 gift voucher after I complained, but I used this gift voucher to place another order using their next day delivery service to attempt to get a replacement for the item they cancelled which was intended as a present for a party the next day. This didn’t arrive the next day, but the day after, so both attempts at ordering from Emma Bridgewater didn’t go very well. They did however, refund me the next day delivery.

At the time this issue occurred the team had a high volume of customers to contact which did sadly cause delays. Terrible customer service and cobbler informed me Dubarry boots are just badly made

Terrible customer service, Dubarry try to claim that service experienced whilst using their boot repair company is nothing to do with them - yet Dubarry are the ones that took payment for the repair, via the Dubarry website. I bought the sole repair service, unaware that I was sending them to The Boot Repair Company, not Dubarry. Once the company ran over their 6-8 week deadline, they contacted me to tell me they need to charge me £40 more for the sole repair, even though I’d purchased sole repair at £75. By this point they’d had them for two months so I just wanted them back. I declined and had them returned. I then found that Timpsons do Dubarry sole repair at £75 with a 10 day lead time, but sent them in and the cobbler called to say he sees the same issue time and time again, specifically with Dubarrys. The issue is that the leather base of the shoe that the rubber sole is stuck to turns to almost dust so that no sole can be properly restuck to it.

I emailed Dubarry to let them know that their repair partners were letting them down, but had no response from Dubarry.

Comfy but has real divets after a year

The mattress is comfy and nicely on the firm side, but after about a year there a real divets on each side where me and my husband lie, neither of us are overweight so I imagine this is a problem that everyone has. It means I can’t lie in the middle when my husband is away as it feels like you’re sleeping on the equivalent of a speed bump.

Arran isn’t a trustworthy person to…

Arran isn’t a trustworthy person to have in your house unattended. I accidentally sent him money and he refused to send it back. Also sub-par cleaning, would hoover around a sock left on the floor rather than picking it up so the place never looked clean when he’d finished.

Made in China, low quality cashmere. Tried to sting me on refund.

Surprised to see that such an expensive jumper was made in China, and cashmere was of low quality - profit margins must be through the roof. I returned the size that didn’t fit and even though they had received the return with no issues they still insisted on me sending a picture of my postage receipt. I asked the assistant why it would be necessary and she didn’t respond, I assume they use it as an excuse to deny refunds. Leaves a very bad taste in the mouth!

I wish I could upload a picture of what I got compared to the picture advertised. They were a pair of woven leather sandals, what I got were some plastic shoes with a kind of attempt at a women look imprinted onto them. I’ve requested a refund and postage paid but from the reviews on here it looks like I will have to take it to small claims. Avoid like the plague.

I’m sure it will work well for some…

I’m sure it will work well for some dogs and households (ones without children), but it caused my Springer spaniels to loose 1.2 and 2kg. A lot considering they were only 15kg to begin with. They’re wormed every 3 months but the vet said you need to worm them monthly on a raw diet, he also said you shouldn’t really do it at all if you have young children, as the risk of worms and salmonella is so high. The benefits were that their poo was much better, but we came off it due to the other risk factors. Another bit that I hated was that the meat juices would always come out of the unopened cardboard boxes and run all over the fridge, and the empty boxes would make the bin smell vile.

I ordered three weeks ago, took them a week to dispatch and I still don’t have them, they also didn’t respond to an email I sent enquiring about the long delay in dispatch. Hopefully they show up but I’d never have ordered them if I’d have known it wasn’t your usual postage wait.
