The best rental experience I’ve had from Nobody’s Child/Zoa. The Dress arrived in excellent condition. The price was reasonable and having the returns label included made returning the item a really smooth process. Would definitely do again.

Two stars given as I think this idea has potential, but...

I ordered a Nobody's Child dress for an event. I have a few of their dresses, all in a size 8, so that's the size I ordered.
Unfortunately, it was way too small, not even just a little too small!
I'd have been cutting it fine to have the next size up send out to me, so contacted Zoa to advise I would be sending it back unworn (ribbons all intact) and would there be a partial refund due to this.
I was advised 'As per the rental T&Cs for this brand, Nobody's Child rental offer exchanges only, not refunds on items returned unworn'.

So, basically, I spent £35 to collect a dress from the post office, try it on for less than three minutes and then take it back to the post office.

If you live in a city, or near enough to somewhere that stocks the outfit you'd like to rent, I guess you can head there to try it on first and check the fit is correct.

I think the no refund even if not worn policy needs to be front and centre on the website, not something you are advised about once you have the item.
I've since searched the website for any info on this and all it says is that if the item isn't suitable to contact Zoa and they will advise from there. Had I realised that there was limited comeback for the dress not fitting, I wouldn't have rented it. Money for old rope in this case!

The dress arrived early. I wore it to my grandaughters graduation. It was a lovely dress but I knew I wouldn’t wear it again. Just put it back in the package it arrived in and posted back. So easy. So renting was the right choice for me. I would definitely rent again.

I actually ordered the same dress new to try on before I ordered the rental and the size of the rental dress was totally different to the new dress!

I had to panic buy a dress for the wedding last minute, I found the whole situation very stressful and extremely disappointing!

I have never worn a wetsuit before, and I needed one for my swim in the Arctic circle. I wear a Yulex cossie for my winter swims from Finisterre, so they were my go-to to look into suitable gear. I phoned the shop and explained what I was intending to do and they made their recommendation based on that. I ordered the rental, which arrived even earlier than needed and gave me more time to try it on. It was an excellent fit and I tested it at my local Lido. I then wore it to the swimming event in Finland, and it worked really well! It was easy to return afterwards. Fantastic service overall, and brilliant value!

I returned the dress back to yourselves before I was due to wear it. The tag on the sleeve had not been removed and you refused to refund me.

My statutory rights still apply so I intend to raise a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman. Also, you have charged me VAT even though evidentially there was no service provided. This is a separate matter that I will therefore report to HMRC.

I will give you 7 working days to refund me in full. Should you fail to do this I will act accordingly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Zoa Rental, as their range of dresses to rent, sourced from Oh Polly's website, was fantastic. I believe it highly benefits those (like myself) who are a bit tight with their money, especially for prom season.
I was left satisfied with the ease of the return process with Zoa Rental, as instructions were clear and easy to follow.

For a one time wear charge for rental the price is really good!

This is the easiest, most stress and hassle free service! I rented a wet suit for 5 days for a trip to Cornwall, it arrived in good time and was such good value. The wetsuit was gorgeous, I loved it and will definately rent again. The return was also easy, with a pre-paid label. This is the second time I've rented and won't be the last time!
