Our daughter had a story selected for publication, but unfortunately we received the school letter after the deadline had already passed. We reached out to Young Writers USA worried that she might miss her opportunity.

Aaliyah, Gemma, Lily, and the Young Writers team were incredibly responsive, understanding, and helpful throughout the process. They confirmed permission was accepted, helped correct transcription errors in the story title and text, and even arranged for a replacement acceptance pack and certificate to be sent directly to our home after the original materials never reached us through the school.

We truly appreciated the kindness, communication, and willingness to help make sure our daughter’s achievement was recognized. Thank you for helping make this such a special experience for a young writer and her family.

I’m a farther of one of the young writers. I made a purchase of the recently published book; I later made an inquiry about updates on delivery times. Got reply back quickly and Customer service was very helpful in answering my questions .very friendly and professional.

Great opportunities for students of all ages to practice writing creatively and also concisely with a possibility of publication--not only an academic profile builder but also a confidence booster! This encouraged our middle schoolers to put themselves out there more and try something out of their comfort zone.

My students and their families love this program. The students enjoy the different challenges and love to see their writing in print in our school library. The customer service is excellent. They are quick to help with any issue.

Young Writers has been such a wonderful experience for my daughter over the past several years. She has submitted multiple entries, and each time they are quick to congratulate her on a job well done, which has really encouraged her love of writing. The published books are always enjoyable to read and have become such special keepsakes in our home library.

Every submission also comes with thoughtful extras like a certificate and bookmark, which makes the experience even more exciting and rewarding for young writers. Recently, we accidentally received a certificate with another child’s name on it. I emailed Young Writers, and their team responded very quickly and kindly sent out a corrected certificate for the scrapbook we are creating for my daughter.

I highly recommend Young Writers to any parent whose child has an interest in writing short stories or essays. It’s an encouraging, creative, and memorable experience that truly helps young writers feel proud of their work!

I’ve had such a positive experience working with YoungWriters USA through their Stranger Sagas and Unsolved competitions. As a middle school reading and writing teacher, I’m always looking for meaningful opportunities to motivate my students, and these contests did exactly that.

What I appreciate most is how accessible and engaging the prompts are for young writers. My students felt inspired, challenged, and—most importantly—excited to write. Seeing so many of them selected for publication after submitting their work was an incredibly proud moment, not just for me, but for them and their families as well.

My son was chosen as one of the young writers I think this is such an awesome idea and an amazing experience for kids to build their confidence and continue to grow in their skill! Amazing customer service!
