Everything was well laid out and communication was pretty efficient given the time difference between where I live and where the company operates from.
I'd book with Yes again.

Great trip

Professional and helpful with my requests

I’m really pleased with how patient our travel advisor is and she has been getting back to us very quickly. We have not taken the trip yet as it is several months out. I was expecting a real saving price wise, however the 40% saving that they advertise is on their prices. You can do your own pricing independently for the same price so there is no saving. So far, I have been pleased, however.

Always great experiences with this company!

We booked with Yes Getaways because we have had exceptionally good service on past vacations (Madeira, Azores, Douro River Cruise, mainland Portugal tours) booked with their sister companies, Azores Getaways and Portugal Getaways.

Their service is tremendous and staff is second to none!!! On each occasion our holiday was custom built (flights, trains, hotels, tours, consideration of stay & travel duration) to our liking and most recently it was Yes Getaways representative Claudia Barroso who tailored every detail according to our requests.

During our vacations, their company representatives were just a phone call away if we had any questions or concerns and if their agents were busy when we called, they always contacted us immediately afterwards! When tour or pickup times were changed (beyond their control), we always received messages or phone calls with plenty of advanced notice. No surprises- just highly professional service! We first started using them at the recommendation of friends, have since recommended them to other friends and family and won't hesitate to book with them in the future!

Adriana was amazing, she took care of every detail and even thought of things that were important we hadn’t thought of. Excelente service. We haven’t taken the tour yet because we leave on Dec 31, 2026z

Customer service is top notch with Yes…

Customer service is top notch with Yes Getaways/Azores Getaways and Portugal Getaways which are all the same company. We have done 3 trips with them in the past 2 years and we are leaving on our 4th this week.

The only thing I'd like to see change is the way they book the flights. Because they are booked as one way tickets with multiple airlines it can be very confusing as to who you check in with when the time comes. As an example we booked this last trip because it was shown as an Air Canada ticket. After booking we realized it's marketed by one supplier and and the flight is with another carrier. Also, with both of us having different booking numbers it makes checking-in more confusing. I found myself having to upload many airline apps just to be safe.

I do find their vacation packages very affordable. I appreciate the prompt response via WhatsApp whenever I have a question. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them for your next vacation experience.

Generally good, with one caveat.

GOOD:
Representatives kept me up to date with flight changes, providing phone and email contact info.
NOT SO GOOD:
Due to a lack of communication between Yes Getaways and U-Save car rentals in Malta, my wife and I were denied the rental car promised in our travel package based on our age. We received a small refund from Yes Getaways as compensation, but the loss of a car was disappointing and markedly reduced the value of the package deal.

Everyone we spoke with at Yesgetaways…

Everyone we spoke with at Yesgetaways was very helpful.
However, the room we were given at our hotel in Sliema, Malta- at the Preluna Hotel, was in an area of the hotel that was actually under construction! Literally. We woke up to jack hammers for 2 mornings, and had to step through construction dust to get to our room. It was the fault of the hotel that anyone should have to stay in a situation like that. But that is something that Yesgetaways should have known about.
We had to pay for an upgrade to get a decent room for the rest of our stay.
I would therefore suggest that Yesgetaways be aware of this- and look into what rooms their customers will be given beforehand, to make certain this doesn't happen to others.
I am giving 5 stars (instead of 4), only because the Yesgetaways staff were understanding and helpful- and because I'm hopeful that other guests will not have to experience what we did, now that Yesgetaways is aware of this possibility.
It's for this reason though that I would not recommend Preluna Hotel, as any Hotel who would put up ANY guests in a room like that cannot be recommended.

Excellent Vacation

The flights were great except when the flight from Prague to Copenhagen was late the and the transfer to Toronto didn't happen for another 49 hours.
The hotels were good. I particularly liked the one in Prague.
And I absolutely loved going first class on the train and being served Prosecco!
