I don't recommend them
Their sales teams are aggressive and very deceptive. I am not happy with how much discrimination, complete disrespect, that both my mom and I faced with their office in Windsor, California. When all is we wanted to do was transfer the ownership to me, when instead that did not happen. They call, email you constantly, when I have asked repeatedly for them to stop.
Been an "suckered owner" for years
Been a "suckered owner" for years. I would gladly GIVE my points away for FREE! Worldmark is a horrible timeshare company, and gets worse year after year. Not at all what they pro port to be. Resorts are in horrible condition. Maintenance fees continue to rise, and they are obviously not using the fees to do maintenance! Hate the high pressure sales every time I did use their resorts, just ruins the experience! Their resorts are never in places you want to be, and if they are, nothing available. Found out that I can book condos online for a much better rate.
WorldMark Values Collections Over Decades of Loyalty
"Despite having fully paid off the cost of my timeshare years ago, I am still subjected to maintenance fees that skyrocket every single year. After two and a half decades of consistent, on-time payments, I inadvertently missed a quarterly fee by only a few weeks. I was sent to collections almost immediately. This predatory escalation shows a staggering lack of respect for the loyal owners who have kept this company running for decades.
I have been trying to exit this membership for three years
I have been trying to exit this ownership for three years. I have been told several times I would have to bring my dues payments current and keep them current throughout the process which could take as long as 10 months. I did that twice and each time after 6 to 8 months, there was a different excuse each time why they could not complete the process. The account has been assigned to collections and today I was told the same thing as before, bring my dues current and keep them current for 3-10 months and then we'll see. Please note, this is only dues payments, not loan payments.
Don’t bother
If I could rate this company a 0 I would. Very let down by them.
I have been an owner for over 27 years
I have been an owner for over 27 years. They are charging so much on the fees, properties are old and outdated, extremely hard to find a reservation, but above all awful customer service. All they care about is charging fees for services they don’t provide. Don’t fall for it
Finally no pressure!
I have been to several seminars and the pressure to purchase was very unsettling and to the point of disrespectful. Today I was greeted with the usual kindness and this time at this update, Mr. Bre'lan, came to my table with options and ideas as well as plans suited just for me. He was well informed, nice, kind and attentive to my response to not purchase at this time. As I have purchased 20K credits a year and a half ago and just now started to use them with this trip to Las Vegas. Bre'lan kept the same politeness from first meeting me to our final goodbye. He did not get a negative attitude as all the ones in the past had given me. I truly appreciate Bre'lan and consider him a true asset to the Wyndom team. Hats off to you! Awesome job! If I do consider purchasing more points or a package I will look to speak with Mr. Bre'lan.

Don’t waste your MONEY!
This company when I purchased in 2003 was a good company. Wyndham has now taken over managing WorldMark, do not get involved with this company. It is Terrible. The website has changed and not for the good. Sometimes the company goes under Travel and Leisure. I’ve been on the website the last 1.5 hours and was unable to book!! If you are not invested in this company don’t get involved with them. They are high pressure sales and will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to buy.
Terribile
Terribile! Sito che lagga e non funziona, chiami e non risponde nessuno
State alla larga finché siete in tempo
Continuing frustration.
Again, if I could, I would give zero stars. I have been unable to log in since last November. I have received two emails stating that they are "working on it". Today I received an email stating that the issue has been resolved, BUT I still cannot log in. I have called numerous times and each time been told that a note has been added to my account to give the issue priority. I wish I could say something positive.
Like others I would give a negative…
Like others I would give a negative points if possible. My husband bought many years ago and when it was Worldmark it was great. It got especially bad when Wyndham bought them. We upgraded over the years and were outright lied to, the new website is a complete mess and they’ll confirm a booking and then cancel it. There is no integrity and they simply do not care. I feel so bad for their reservation people - must be a horrible job.
The WorldMark timeshare
The WorldMark timeshare has resulted in financial strain and limited availability for the locations
we were promised. We were misled about the flexibility and costs, and were told we would have
good availability, especially in Florida, only to find that there are very limited options there. The
constant pressure to upgrade only adds to the negative experience. For this reason, we want to
get our contract cancelled and refunded, because it's definitely not worth the money we spent
on it!
This is Horrible company!
This is Horrible company!! Take this as a WARNING! do not get involved you will be sorry! I was a sales rep for them and it’s not a trustworthy company. This company will eventually go down as they do many unethical tactics.
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company, everything they say is a lie and only want your money!!
Stay away from Worldmark!
Stay away from Worldmark. We haven't used a day there. We signed up w Club Wyndham. I know under the same umbrella co but we use our Club Wyndham pts. It was a reasonable sale and price. BUT Rob in Lake George, Utah sold us Worldmark on the RENTAL BUSINESS! Their words saying we can rent out our points because they have corporate reservations all the time at these PLUS we can rent out our Black Hills property in Vacation Share too and that isn't a thing. I should've confirmed that but didn't until later. THEY LIED. You can't do that. Rob told me he would teach me the rental bus, we'd pay for our fees. THEY WILL SAY ANYTHING DEPENDING ON YOUR SITUATION! Just don't fall for it like we did. They just want the sale. We were told later in FL using our Club Wyndham that Worldmark in Utah did it wrong and he needed to fix it (their words) all the while hiding that it will be another 19 grand! They used so many scamming sales tricks on us it is unreal.
Is Worldmark VIP worth it? Absolutely NOT!
I went to sales presentation at Worldmark Boulevard in Las Vegas today which lasted 2 1/2 hours. I said I had to leave but would come back next day. A few hrs. Later I got an email informing me of my new Worldmark credit card which I never said I wanted. They signed me up for a worldmark credit card without me knowing and ran hard credit without me knowing. This made me realize I couldnt trust anything they were selling me. I currently have 32,000 points and am a bronze member. they wanted to sell me 6,000 more points for $21,000.00 to access vip benefits and finance it at $350.00 per month including interest. My existing dues are $320.00 per month for my 32,000 annual credits. they said if I purchase vip benefits my payment of $320.00 per month for my bronze membership is no longer due since I would now be a vip owner paying $350.00 per month to pay off the $21,000 fee for joining via program.
Financial Considerations
A $21,000 purchase for 6,000 additional credits equates to about $3.50 per credit, which is roughly triple current resale market pricing (around $1.10–$1.40/credit depending on market conditions). Financing at $350 monthly implies high developer interest rates with long amortization periods. As such, resale acquisition or rental from existing owners often provides identical vacation options for a fraction of the cost—albeit without cosmetic VIP labeling.
Conclusion:
My current Bronze tier already permits nearly all functional booking abilities of WorldMark ownership. The proposed $21,000 VIP upgrade primarily grants modest luxury-tier perks that have questionable practical value against the substantial increase in financial obligation. Independent real-world reports highlight that such upgrades typically do not result in tangible improvements in booking flexibility or cost savings. Don't walk, but run from this sales pitch. I researched this information in my room/unit after leaving sales pitch saying using Perplexity AI.
Waste of time and money
Waste of time, waste of money, they will do their best to screw you and take your time and money.
DON'T DO IT - RESEARCH COMPANY 1ST
Let me start by saying we sent in a cancellation letter on the 3rd day after signing (legally I had 5 days to rescind the contract). I'll write a follow up post after We have received the refund.
We got lured into a presentation on a trip to Vegas. In hindsight it feels like the predatory practices of a cult trying to recruit members. Here's what happened:
1. Approached by a female rep at the hotel. She acted like she was giving us perks out of kindness for listening to a 2 hour presentation. One perk was $75 in meal vouchers which she lied and said we could use anywhere. They were only valid at 3 hotels NOT including where we were staying.
2. A man met with us at the presentation and explained briefly the timeshare program. He never mentioned long wait times for availability of properties, but instead highlighted lower point costs for bookings 45 days or less before travel.
3. A 2nd man shows a group of us a video presentation along with his stand up comedy routine.
4. A woman met with us to run numbers to see if purchase was a good fit for our family based on how much we travel annually. She did NOT notify us that she was running a Hard Credit check when she asked for SS #. She then took us on a tour and gave misinformation & omitted important information about the time share resorts (Never mentioned cleaning fees, insinuating that they were included, misrepresented resort policies, and insinuated that it was easy to get the bookings of our choice (water front), never mentioning the lack of availability of popular destinations.
4. A 3rd man took us to get the perks promised by the rep at the hotel where it's discovered that the meal vouchers could not be used at our own hotel. He tried to take us on another tour. I told him of our time constraints and he misled us into thinking we'd be finished in time.
5. The woman meets us again, We agree to a price-point and sale. At this point I find out about separate maintenance fees, and the 12.99% interest. We don't agree to the interest, but she persuades us by advising to get a lower cost loan and pay off the balance in full.
6. Another man comes out and brings us sparkling cider to congratulate us on becoming a member. The whole room cheers and celebrates their latest suckers. (It happened at least 4 more times for others that were duped).
7. We were taken to another woman to read over and sign the contracts. It was a rushed process, especially with our time constraints. An contract item came up that we could not agree to, and we were going to cancel right then. We were advised on a loophole to circumvent the item. When asked about the maintenance fees increasing, she never told us that they go up a huge% per year! We were LIED to when asked if there was a rescission period where we could legally change our minds and cancel the contract. We were told NO twice. When we read each page thoroughly later several items were different from what we were told.
The whole process took 4 hours, much longer than the 2 we agreed to.
Everyone was EXTREMELY kind and generous throughout the whole process, actively trying to make personal connections with us. THAT WAS THE TRAP.
Despite death and alzheimer's can't cancel account - total scam
Since January 2025 I have contacted the Wyndham Cares team repeatedly to close my parent’s VIP WorldMark account. My father passed away late last year and my mother has been in memory care for Alzheimer's since 2021. Her care is very expensive and she no longer has the resources to pay Wyndham $600 a month in fees and is falling behind in payments.
Earlier this year I waited 20 weeks for the Wyndham Cares team to review the paperwork and POA info to allow them to discuss exit options with me. In June I was told there were no options at that time for buy back, forfeiture or cancellation. At their suggestion I contracted with Fidelity to sell the credits. Despite two discounts, we have not had a single response or offer. (No one in my family wants the service or can afford the fees; family transfer is not an option.)
Today I called the Wyndham Cares team and again was told there were no forfeiture/cancellation options at this time, but there was an option two weeks ago. They could not tell me when the next option would be available, instead they suggested I keep calling and maybe I'd get lucky and the option for cancellation would be available.
I've managed a lot of personal and business accounts and have never been told closing an account relied on luck.
My parents spent thousands for credits and various fees over the last 20 years. They enjoyed their trips, paid for what they bought and used, and now they need a way to close their account and get out. But the Wyndham Cares team continues to deny our requests and forcing my mom to pay for something she cannot use and we have repeatedly offered to forfeit.
I want them to take the credits and let us out!
Timeshares are such a scam and Worldmark has been awful to deal with.
Stay Away, High Pressure Deceptive Sales Practices
At the time of purchase, I was explicitly led to believe that the Discovery Package would provide me with access to the same destinations available to full WorldMark owners, without significant restrictions. Hector Portillo made verbal assurances that availability would be similar to what was presented during the session.
However, I have since discovered that the Discovery Package is severely limited to a small number of less desirable locations, which was never disclosed during the presentation or in any supporting materials provided to me at the time of sale. I was pressured into the deal after being at the presentation for nearly 4 hours. I have attempted to contact Hector multiple times via phone and email with no response.
I've also called WorldMark customer service several times, yet the results are always the same, they want me to get in contact with the sales person, who isn't responding!
I believe this constitutes deceptive and misleading sales tactics, a clear violation of fair business practices. Had I been made aware of these limitations, I would never have agreed to this purchase. As a result, I have initiated a dispute with my credit card provider and am pursuing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the California's Attorney General’s office, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
