Having been an owner for over 20 years
Having been an owner for over 20 years, it used to be a decent company. They will no longer send you invoices in the mail for the dues. They are now sending everything to pinnacle collections if it’s not paid immediately and then they tacked on an extra $200 charge if you’re thinking about buying into Worldmark on the new or resale market don’t do it. Look at other options this company is an absolute nightmare. When you call them, they say it’s up to you to know when to pay the bills I believe most rooms now they would rather put for rent on Expedia and other platforms and they’re trying to get rid of the timeshare owners I would pay to get rid of it at this point.

If there was a review less than a 1 I would give it. WorldMark is a mercenary scum bag organization. We paid THOUSANDS of dollars in dues and we've tried to exit since the beginning of the year. They continue to suck dues out of us month after month with no relief for us at all. NEVER get involved with these horrible people.
Worldmark has really gone downhill...
I have been a Worldmark owner since 2002. Since Wyndham bought Worldmark out they have completed destroyed literally every possible positive aspect. The resorts have gotten old and dated. Their way to pay maintenance dues is horrible and embarrassing. Then when you go for an "owners update" they exert the most incredible sales pressure I have ever seen. Their phone support is horrible. They turn you over to a pathetic collections company if you miss a dues payment. And...the Dues are skyrocketing. Find a better timeshare than this and they are out there.
STAY AWAY FROM TIMESHARES
Trying to exit the timeshare is a nightmare. Can take up to 5 months, and in the process you have to keep paying the premiums and yet you can't book any hotels or vacations during that process. So you are giving money away. Many other issues that take up too much room to put here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY OR ANY TIMESHARES! It is way better and cost effective to just book an all inclusive resort or hotel when you want to rather than being locked in a contract.
Do Not Call Request Violations
They have been calling me for years despite me telling them multiple times to put me on their do not call list. They reps are rude and noncompliant when asked to stop calling.
This is a SCAM
This is a SCAM! They pester you at vegas hotels to come to a presentation; paying for uber and then they turned us away as we were apparently not eligible when they claimed we were as that’s how they booked us in…
Do not go to this, do not spend any time or money here. It is a scam and a con to the highest level.
Do not Worldmark or Whyndham
I have been an owner for over 20 years. I paid of my initial membership over 10 years ago. I have been paying annual dues on time for all of that time. I missed a payment when I changed credit cards a forgot my payments came automatically from that account. Without notifying me Worldmark sent my account to collections when one payment was missed. I would have gladly made the payment had I realized it was overdue. I contacted Worldmark to correct the error and was told they do not care about my length of membership and that they have no responsibility to notify me of payment due. Basically Adrian from WM told me there is nothing they will do to help me correct this mistake. My only option is to pay the collection company and extra $200 in addition to my quarterly dues.
Horrible Business Practices
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. If I could leave no star I would.
I purchased a vacation package from WorldMark by Wyndham (Travel + Leisure Co.) based on a sales presentation where I was told I would have access to a wide range of destinations, including Cancun, Cabo, and multiple locations throughout Florida. These options were a major factor in my decision.
After purchasing, I later received the actual location list from customer service, which showed that the available options were extremely limited and did not match what was presented. This information was not provided during the sales process. Had it been disclosed, I would not have made the purchase.
When I attempted to use the package, I found that not only were the options limited, but many of the few available locations were already sold out for the timeframe I needed, making the package effectively unusable for my family.
I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly, including requesting a cancellation and refund, but my concerns were dismissed and I was told to rely on the contract, despite the clear discrepancy between what was said during the presentation and what was actually delivered.
This experience was disappointing and frustrating. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to request a full list of available locations in writing before making any decisions.
I hate hate hate Wyndham
I booked 2 nights in Seattle for May 2026 exactly 30 days in advance. When I tried to cancel the reservation 11 days before my arrival, they told me there would be no refund because of their 30-day cancellation policy. This doesn’t make sense to me. I booked the room 30 days before the stay, and I attempted to cancel well before the trip (11 days prior). Despite this, they are refusing to refund my money or my points and will not give me the room back. I am paying for it and they are reselling it.
Been a member for 23 years but would not recommend
Been a member for 23 years and loved it for most of it. However, in the last 5 years things have changed for the worse. Dropping calls after waiting for an hour is very common, no follow through with issues, harassment to attend presentations while on vacation and if you do attend, prepare to spend your entire vacation trying to get your ‘gift’. Try returning some points, basically giving them money, and had a terrible experience, 6 months of errors and terrible customer service all while paying dues for the entire amount. Will not recommend this Timeshare company at all.
WorldMark’s Treatment of Owners Deeply Disappointing
I’ve been a WorldMark owner since 1995 and used to be satisfied with the service. Unfortunately, my recent experience has shown me how dramatically the company’s priorities have shifted — and not in favor of owners.
I missed my January 1, 2026 quarterly payment because I never received a statement in the mail. Instead of sending a clear notice or even a simple message explaining that my account was overdue, WorldMark only left a few automated phone messages asking me to “call back” with no explanation. Given their normal sales push, I assumed they were trying to sell me more credits, so I didn’t return them.
The first real notice I received was not from WorldMark at all — it was a letter from a collection agency in mid‑March. When I called the agency, they told me that not only was the January payment sent to collections, but the April payment — which wasn’t even due yet — had already been added as well. I had never received a bill for April, nor any communication from WorldMark explaining that anything was overdue.
This feels less like a simple oversight and more like a system designed to push owners into collections, adding an extra $100+ fee on top of regular dues. After more than 30 years as an owner, I’m shocked at how quickly they escalated the situation and how little effort they made to communicate directly or transparently.
WorldMark used to treat owners with respect. Now it feels like they treat us as revenue sources to be squeezed rather than customers to be supported. I’m sharing this so others can understand how the company handles even long‑standing members.
Bad sales
The come on to get someone to go hear the sales pitch is All a lie. Money $100 for food or more, it is a joke. No one takes the certificate they give you. The booking for their trip. We were promised a weekend in St George Ut. After the sales pitch we had to pick a place out of the country and I do not fly. All a joke, never again. Lie to the guest and don’t deliver. Great sales.
Absolute disaster
Absolute disaster! Pushy sales tactics, deceptive wording, very quick to rush through the initial, and only, cancelation window of 3-10 days. They won't mention that at all, even when going over the contract. They told us you just have to wait 10 days to book. Warning, read and completely understand the fine print, I wish I had. Or better yet, just avoid it at all costs.
I don't recommend them
Their sales teams are aggressive and very deceptive. I am not happy with how much discrimination, complete disrespect, that both my mom and I faced with their office in Windsor, California. When all is we wanted to do was transfer the ownership to me, when instead that did not happen. They call, email you constantly, when I have asked repeatedly for them to stop.
Been an "suckered owner" for years
Been a "suckered owner" for years. I would gladly GIVE my points away for FREE! Worldmark is a horrible timeshare company, and gets worse year after year. Not at all what they pro port to be. Resorts are in horrible condition. Maintenance fees continue to rise, and they are obviously not using the fees to do maintenance! Hate the high pressure sales every time I did use their resorts, just ruins the experience! Their resorts are never in places you want to be, and if they are, nothing available. Found out that I can book condos online for a much better rate.
WorldMark Values Collections Over Decades of Loyalty
"Despite having fully paid off the cost of my timeshare years ago, I am still subjected to maintenance fees that skyrocket every single year. After two and a half decades of consistent, on-time payments, I inadvertently missed a quarterly fee by only a few weeks. I was sent to collections almost immediately. This predatory escalation shows a staggering lack of respect for the loyal owners who have kept this company running for decades.
I have been trying to exit this membership for three years
I have been trying to exit this ownership for three years. I have been told several times I would have to bring my dues payments current and keep them current throughout the process which could take as long as 10 months. I did that twice and each time after 6 to 8 months, there was a different excuse each time why they could not complete the process. The account has been assigned to collections and today I was told the same thing as before, bring my dues current and keep them current for 3-10 months and then we'll see. Please note, this is only dues payments, not loan payments.
Don’t bother
If I could rate this company a 0 I would. Very let down by them.
I have been an owner for over 27 years
I have been an owner for over 27 years. They are charging so much on the fees, properties are old and outdated, extremely hard to find a reservation, but above all awful customer service. All they care about is charging fees for services they don’t provide. Don’t fall for it
