I would like to give Worldmark a 1 star based on the lack of common courtesy, atrocious behavior, and indignation I recieved by the house keeper in building 13. Her behavior was unprovoked and uncalled for. I would compare it to the other hotel staff, but no one was ever around to compare it to. But giving 1 star based on 1 person actions seems unfair.

With that out of the way. The rooms were clean and had all the desired amenities. Tea, coffee, and all the pots pans and dishes.There were a couple of overlooked cracked glasses, but no one got cut. So no harm no foul. You are in charge of cleaning up after yourself, but that was not a concern. The A/C was cold and the beds comfy.

The location is hard to beat and right next to restaurants and across the street from the beach. So grab your flip flops and cruise Kihei, and enjoy beautiful Maui. Just don't expect the resort customer service you can find at higher end hotels.

Started sale in May, company got it sold. That end of things was quickly completed.
Waiting on WorldMark to initiate the transfer to new owner. We sold because maintenance fees just keep climbing and no improvement on service, actually some services were pulled back, plus they added a supplemental payment on top of the maintenance fees. The worst part is where we are now…Limbo waiting and waiting for Worldmark to finish the transfer. We got to the $399 transfer fee paid to WM OCTOBER. The title company reached out to WM about transfer…reply:
No idea when it will happen. Long story short last reply was possibly up to TWENTY WEEKS. In the meantime everything is locked up and still paying fees. Sold because they have just gone down hill since Wyndham took over. No longer exclusive, anyone can go and Mega Renters are the norm. We are in timeshare purgatory waiting to finish this exit. Being punished for leaving. Just say NO.

I have called multiple times for an automatic charge on my credit card for monthly fees and dues, since I have left the wyndome company. 105.94 has been charged since Aug. when I gave back my condo to them for free. I paid 20,000 in 2018 and dues every month since. I am now requesting recovery of dues owed to me since Aug.2024 cancellation. Last bill was 10/22/24 Dianne Kendall

This organization has become a money pit. Too many members and not enough quality resorts. They insist on a 30-minute review of your membership when you stay are the higher end resorts, where they pressure you to purchase more credits. However, all they did was lie to me, by stating 1/2 truths.
They changed great website to a poorly conceived and executed P.OS. which is difficult to near impossible to navigate.
I would love to sell ALL my credits, take a huge loss just to get away from this mill stone around my neck.
Please DO NOT EVER CONSIDER purchasing any Worldmarkby Wyndam credits. It a complete waste of your time and money.

This is a terrible company, such a waste of time and and money. You can never book any accomodation when you want it. you cant cancel your membership they just want to rip you off more to sell your shares.
I cant say it enough, Run a mile do not waste your money with this comany.

This is a terrible, terrible company. I sent them a letter on May 1, 2024 cancelling my account as we had never once been able to book a property despite multiple attempts over years. We received no response. Worldmark continued to bill me. On July 5, 2024 i sent a second letter. They refused to respond and ignored the correspondence. In July they sent me to collections. i responded to collections letting them know that i had cancelled this account and the billing was disputed. There was no response from Worldmark. In October 2024 we received another harassing letter from a debt collection company. On November 20, 2024 I received a threatening letter once again from Worldmark demanding i pay them the money for the months since i cancelled this account. I then spent over 2 1/2 hours on the phone being treated in a terrible manner, being given the runaround between five different people, with each telling me conflicting and false statements, and with no resolution. Their position, apparently, is that they have a right ignore my written correspondence and because I did not call them, they have ignored my notice of cancellation. Now, they will not "allow" me to cancel unless and until I pay them for all the months they have insisted on billing. According to them I "should have known " that they have a policy that a person has to call them to be able to "exit" and they had no obligation to tell me that if I did not call. Keep in mind that the original "loan" has been paid off for years and we have never once been able to successfully book something. PLEASE be cautious. This company has cost us tens of thousands of dollars, never been able to successfully use it, and then pulls an outrageous stunt like this claiming they can ignore written communication and i "should have known" to call them instead. I will be filing complaints and am in the process of contacting both state and federal to file complaints with the appropriate regulatory agency.

Terrible service, ruined my vacation and holidays. Originally sold me on the discovery membership to visit Australia and Fiji. After spending over $3,000, that was not available. I compromised and booked the only one that made sense which was Orlando, Florida. After checking flights the I wanted to modify the dates as the return date was expensive. I was speaking to an agent who was helping me modify the dates and while doing that the call go disconnected. Hoping I would get a call back, I received an email from them stating my reservation was canceled. This was without my consent. After I called back they told me the reservation was no longer available. So because their own employee made a decision without my consent I was penalized for it. Now I have no trip for the holidays and the $3,000 that I spent was lost.

Do not purchase a "Discovery" package with Worldmark by Wyndham! A high-pressure salesperson convinced me to buy this package which was the worst decision ever made. He told me about all sorts of destinations, including Europe. Since I travel frequently and Wyndham chain has so many hotels, I bought the sales pitch hook, line, and sinker. I tried several times to use this package in Florida (one of the greatest destinations in the US) and to Europe; only to find out they only have 2 resorts in Florida (both in Orlando) and only 2 resorts in Europe. To top it all off, there is an expiration date on these packages!!! I tried having them transition my purchase to simple hotel stays, but Worldmark said they are unable to do so, as they are not part of Wyndham Hotels. The only thing they were willing to offer was to credit my money/points if I converted to a full timeshare. No thanks! Don't waste your time or your money with Worldmark by Wyndham Discovery.

I gave Worldmark Wyndham a 1 star because 0 was not an option. We have been with Worldmark for 21 years and it was great back in the day. Easy to use, transparency in booking and point accounting, rules were reasonable and not over-reaching. Wyndham did to Worldmark what it does to its other resorts is oversell then create rule to make more and more difficult to book vacations. It is like insurance... they make money when they can keep you from using the resorts. The website is dreadful. Fees continue to climb every year. Bad investment.

WorldMark by Wyndham is a misleading scam of a company. Their back Office, policies and rules do not benefit the customer. We’ve being trying to get a permission addendum (this is their policy of allowing you to authorize someone to be able to book or cancel the use of your timeshare) processsed since inception back in June of 2023. Its November of 2024 and its still not completed after submitting and calling numerous times.
There aren't many Worldmark locations on the east coast so if you locate a Club Wyndham location you must book that brand at least 12-15 days before you want to use it.
The rates and point values have increased. Some of their
Locations haven't been updated in decades so
you're not even get a decent product.
We are praying someone that meets
Worldmark’s Criteria will purchase this headache from us.

I have been a member of Worldmark/Wyndham- now Travel & Leisure for 20+ years. I enjoy having a timeshare BUT this is not the one I would purchase. They are dishonest and are constantly trying to get you to upgrade at $50k+, saying that what you have spent your hard earned money is no longer relevant. I am writing this review due to a current experience where I had my dues on an automatic payment and my card expired. They did not contact me to let me know that the card expired, but instead sent it to a collection firm that DOUBLED the amount that I owe and they will not work with me to allow me to pay my regular payment. I have been a good member for over 20 years and this is how they treat the people that pay their wages. With Airbnb's being so popular now, I don't know why anyone would even buy this timeshare. Worldmark/Wyndham/Travel and Leisure make this so difficult to use and take every penny they can from you along the way. Dishonest people.

I've owned this timeshare for 21 years and they are making it more and more difficult to use every time I turn around. From Customer Support that is poorly educated, raising dues and worse the rules around the companion certificate. I called to drop one night from my reservation and they removed my middle initial from the reservation and therefore charged me an additional $99-$129 for "making a name alteration" OMG...I am selling this for pennies on the dollar and never looking back. Beware of just another scammy TimeShare!

So….. Worldmark Owners….BE WARNED!!! CAUTION!!!! If you go to a yearly update meeting, and the sales rep AND the sales manager tells you that, “if you buy the Club Wyndham Discovery package, it will be considered a “qualifying event” to get you into the Worldmark Travel and Leisure”, THEY ARE MISLEADING YOU!!!!! IT IS ALL LIES! What they told us at Kona, Worldmark, in their sales office, is that “If you buy the Club Wyndham Discovery Package (for $4000), you will be in the Travel and Leisure and you will be getting your info about that sent to you in the fall of 2024.” We asked them to write it down and they replied, “I am telling you that this is a qualifying event and you don’t need to worry about that.”

Then the very next day, we went back to the same sales rep and sales manager and said, “we are very unsure about how this all works. And asked, again, if it is for sure a qualifying event that would allow us to use our Worldmark credits in the Travel and Leisure”. And again, the manager at Kona Worldmark Sales Office, said, “absolutely yes! It is a qualifying event to get you into Worldmark Travel and Leisure and you can use your Worldmark credits to access Travel and Leisure. And further said, “why are you so concerned about this? You need to just go enjoy the rest of your vacation!”

So we foolishly believed him. Fast forward a few months, to a phone call from some sales lady with Worldmark who called to try to sell us points/credits to get into Travel and Leisure. We argued that we are already in Travel and Leisure. She told us we are not. So we immediately contacted Kona Worldmark and basically got the run around. The sales manager never called us back. He told the sales rep to tell us that he sent this up the chain of command. So again, we waited.

And finally someone called to say they are working on our case. Well that was a month or so ago. Today, the investigator called and said, they are closing the case for “lack of evidence”!!!!!! WE ARE NOW GOING TO GET A LAWYER! There were 3 people that heard these words come out of that managers mouth. My husband and I and the Wyndham Sales Rep in the worldmark office in Kona. We have been long time members of Worldmark and This is not okay!!!!

After my husband asked the investigator from Wyndham, she said she didn’t even contact any of the employees to ask them about this! Her reason is because we didn’t get the Travel and Leisure qualifying event in writing.

We were 100% mislead!!!! We went back the 2nd day and they lied again to us! How in the hell is this our fault?????!!!!! Lawsuit coming! Have they done this to anyone else? I would love to hear from you. PM Me ASAP!

I have been a member for over 20 years. At that time it was pretty awesome, they treated you like a valued customer and with respect. Now they treat you like garbage. Pretty much impossible to book a week in a desirable location as owners book and rent on VRBO or AirBnB. Fees going up yet again, a LOT!! Each and every time you visit you will be harassed to, once again, listen to their "used car salesman" high pressure sales pitch. Take note, IRS says these points have zero value even though you spend thousands of dollars. In order to rid yourself from the points you need to hire someone to transfer the deed to new owner, otherwise you will be stuck paying the maintenance fees until you die if new owner stops paying. I will be dumping my points at an incredible loss just to get away from this useless company.

Haven't even went on a trip yet extra fees that they didn't tell us about outside of the normal monthly fees now we have a credit agency bothering us you try to call worldmark they dont give any answers to resolve these problems please if you can stay away from this company

I have been a Worldmark owner since 1997. I was lied to in 1997 and every year Sense. I still have no idea how government lets them get away with charging what they do. If you thinking about buying in the Worldmark, you will be sorry. Don’t do it don’t do it don’t do it and if you think about it, don’t do it.

Used to be great now you cant find anything available also was lied to about what we got!!!

I have been a member since 2001. I agree with all previous reviews. Now I add this: the last two vacations I have reserved an Ada room and both times I was given several different excuses. The manager finally told me the units were overbooked. WHY? We made our reservation 13 mos in advance and arrived on time. Worst still is you can’t find anyone to complain to!

We've been a member for 24 years and we have never been treated so poorly. I have spent entire days trying to do a WorldMark to RCI Exchange. Joan from WorldMark transferred 16000 of my credits to RCI. RCI doesn't recognize my WorldMark account. I was on the phone with Marintia from WorldMark for an hour to try and get this problem resolved. She kept putting me on hold for long periods of my precious time until she finally hung up on me. In the last two weeks I have talked to approximately ten different agents with WorldMark and RCI. None of these inept individuals could help me. My 16000 credits have been stolen or lost somehow. We are not happy. If we could give them a minus 0 we would. Sadly! They have gotten extremely corrupt and their only concern is to Take your Money! I don't advise doing business with this company at all!

I’ve had Worldmark points for a few years and am at the point where I don’t need them anymore. I was willing to just give them my 10,000 credits and they are taking months to close it! Meanwhile they keep billing me monthly for the dues!
