This is how car hire should be. Competitive prices. No nonsense extra insurance. The car that I booked was what I got. A much better service than the cowboys I've experienced near the airport.

I don't think I will ever go anywhere else to rent a car. They were so accommodating and understanding any time I called with a question. Very budget friendly!

This is not the first time that I've hired a vehicle from this company, and as usual a first class service, I would highly recommend them.

Excellent and organised service from Henry's Skoda. The car was prepped and waiting for me. Admin process was efficient and the two members of the rental team were very friendly and chatty. Car was a complimentary upgrade and was a treat to drive. There was no problem leaving the car back after hours and the whole communication with Henry's Skoda was always professional and efficient....and they were also the most competitively priced rental garage in Glasgow when I was looking to book so a win all round!

My van broke down so I called rentacar and they came to my rescue.
I was met with a lady Erin who really went out her way to ensure I was ok. She made me feel comfortable and gave me no worries at all.
Within 10 minutes I was on my way in a hire car.
Couldn’t have asked for a better service.

Excellent service. Absolutely no hassle when renting a car from here. They don’t treat you like you want steal their cars, unlike other rental places. They also don’t ask you about taking out more insurance, and therefore increasing your costs. Friendly and professional staff. Great location, right next to the motorway.

My only niggle was that my car didn’t come with a full tank of petrol, so it was hard for me to know how much I had used, when returning the car.

I staff were very efficient and pleasant and the car was perfect. This was my second rental from here and there will be many more.

I'd never heard of these guys and was passed their number by one of the garages located close by. What a find! Much better service than the more well known brands. No call centres to contend with and a great price. Would definitely use them again.

Great car rental service available in Glasgow city centre that I was previously unaware of. Having taken my own Skoda to this dealership for services many years ago, I was struggling to get a reasonable car hire price until I found VWFS, Henry's Skoda were less than 1/2 the price of the next cheapest deal from Glasgow airport. Fantastic service throughout, staff were polite and vehicle was clean and reasonably new. Will definitely use them again when returning to Glasgow.

They have been nothing but brilliant with me before I dealt with Charles he was good and now I deal with John he is also very good can't do enough for me u would definitely recommend them

Car was clean and tidy and collection was no issue (except for having to find paper copies of proof of address as pdf not accepted) who still gets letters?

All was fine until someone crashed into me. At the scene of the accident I called the accident line. After 30 or so minutes i got through to someone who took details of the car and was thereafter put through to another department and was told i'd be called within 30 mins. No call was returned and after an hour I finally got through and was again told someone would contact me. After 2 hours finally someone took my location at which point I was told I would be waiting 1.5 hours for recovery. As it was raining, cold and at the side of a very busy road I advised this was not possible. I was offered no collection and the car was not replaced. The insurance company advised they would advise the hire company. Two days later I checked in with Henrys and was told they knew nothing of it and asked that I come and complete an incident form. The insurance company called me later that day to say as I was not at fault they needed no more from me. Over a week later I was contacted by a very nice person from Henrys looking for a 400 pound payment for the extended hire (there was none, indeed it was cut a day short as they never replaced the car). This was the first time any said sorry for the lack of customer service but it was welcome.

Accidents happen but this was simply not good enough from whatever insurance provider they use.

The best value and service in Glasgow for car rentals.

Rented a 7 seater Kodiaq for 5 days in August. Its almost November and I still haven't been refunded the amount I was overcharged. I would not use again and would recommend people avoid

Thanks to the staff at VWFS - really appreciated their attentive and professional service. Rented a car for 10 days without any problems or issues - the car was in great condition and perfect for getting about the west of Scotland. Despite arriving earlier than expected, staff were willing to help and provide a vehicle. I will definitely use them again!

Fantastic customer service from John. He went above and beyond when I came to collect my hired vehicle. The car wasn't available at the time, so he was going to give me a different car then when mine became available he was going to get it dropped off to me and swap the cars over. Fortunately my car came in whilst I was still in branch. Would highly recommend and definitely use VWFS Rent-a-car again in the future.

Initially I struggled to complete the hire booking which appears to have been a website issue, not the branch. A few days later it worked fine.
Outstanding prices compared to the usual hire places. Great choice of vehicles.
Very efficient pick up procedure on day 1, the car was great, in fact better than I expected.
No issues during the hire. Drop off after the weeks hire was painless also. Great service on site at both uplift and especially when dropping back off. I'd definitely recommend this branch and will use again.
It has made me reconsider my next car purchase, which now may be a Skoda from this dealership.
