- Tobi is the worst chatbot ever, especially in 2025 when you have all the tech at your disposal. Never works
- there is no direct debit feature. I always have to waste 30 mins of my life every month to find my way through their buggy web app to be able to pay an invoice.
- I changed my phone and I’ve been struggling 30 days to receive an eSIM by talking to customer support. Their staff is purely incompetent and can’t solve simple tasks like generating a QR code for activating your eSIM. An example of incompetent staff members: Madalina Chivu who is always “very happy to help” but never helps.

Din câte știu, dacă ai plătit în avans pentru un servici iar apoi compania mărește prețurile acelui servici, tu ca client nu mai plătești în plus până la finalizarea termenului pentru care ai plătit. Ei, Vodafone România mi a tot trimis emailuri și chiar amenințare să plătesc pentru serviciile Vodafone. Nu știam despre ce e vorba pana m am informat și am aflat ca ei au schimbat prețurile la tv din Aprilie. Eu locuind în afara țării bineînțeles ca nu aveam cum să știu. Dar chiar si dacă știam, dacă eu deja am plătit un preț în avans, cum să mi spună să plătesc o restanță din urmă pentru ca ei au schimbat prețurile? Cel puțin în occident unde locuiesc de o viață știu ca nu așa sunt regulile. De ce la noi e așa? Cu alte cuvinte reguli care merg în dezavantajul nostru ca client.

A doua plângere este calitatea serviciilor cu clienții. Tocmai am vizitat Vodafone Vatra Dornei unde doamna de serviciu a fost foarte acră și a vorbit foarte nepoliticos cu o femeie în vârstă care ar fi putut fi bunica ei. Cum să tratezi un client cu atâta lipsă de respect și demnitate? Femeia în vârstă era depășită de situație și nu știa pentru ce trebuie să plătească, iar în loc să primească ajutor și o vorbă care să o liniștească pe femeie, ea a primit o atitudine cat se poate de nepoliticoasă și fără respect. Foarte foarte urat, și vreau să fie știut acest lucru pentru ca încă avem mari probleme la relațiile cu clienții în țara asta deși ne considerăm oameni prietenoși și de treabă.

Hoti, talhari, ticalosi. Spun orice pentru a te convinge sa treci la abonament si apoi incepe calvarul.

I purchased a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G EEA from Vodafone Romania . The device advertised on their website had 90% correct specifications , but the remaining 10% divergent , with inferior features in key areas (camera module, screen, network bandwidth).
After I pointed out the discrepancy, Vodafone refused any replacement or refund .

❌ The worst came later: Vodafone, without warning, deactivated all my SIMs , preventing me from transferring them to another operator (portability block).
I remained isolated for 4 months , without a telephone line or the possibility of contact, in violation of any right to migration and continuity of service .

🔍 Violations:
Directive 2005/29/EC – art. 6-7 : a partially false description constitutes misleading advertising.

Directive 2019/771/EU – conformity of the goods : the product received did not fully comply with what was contractually promised.

Directive 2002/22/EC (Universal Services Directive) : mobile number portability is a guaranteed right , which Vodafone has deliberately violated.

Romanian Consumer Code (Legea nr. 449/2003, art. 5-9) : the consumer has the right to compliant products and effective remedies.

⚖️ Case law in my favor:
CJEU, C-378/18 (Vodafone vs Bundesnetzagentur) : consumers must be able to migrate without obstacles or penalties.

CJEU, C-388/13 (UPC vs Nemzeti) : providers cannot interrupt services without justification and must respect contractual freedom and continuity of service.

Bologna Tribunal, sentence 3/2019 : misleading advertising = breach of contract, compensation is legitimate.

📌 Vodafone Romania has acted in an unfair, aggressive and punitive manner , violating EU and Romanian regulations.
A company that blocks customer communication to silence them cannot be considered reliable.

Vodafone.ro should get ZERO stars. It is a legit company that acts like a fraud. Tried to change my number from one company to another. It took me almost 6 months and managed to solve it after talking to maybe 5 different agents, explaining every time the same thing. I had internet problems on my number (a work number) and only after one year I managed to talk to someone that was actually capable. No one refunded me for the other internet provider I had to pay in order to do my job. And now, they charge all my sms payments on the old company, although I don t even have a contract with them anymore on that company. I already talked to 5-6 different people. They tell me they will come back with a solution and nothing happens. Can t wait for September when my contract is over to change the provider. This is horrible. No respect for the client. I hope they will go broke. Oh, I forgot. They send an invoice in which there s just your name, your code and the sum. Nothing about the services they offer. If there are extra costs, no details about them. You cannot check if the invoice is right or not. You have to apply to them to get a detailed invoice. And you have to do it every month. You cannot apply once and for all. Isn t it normal to know what you are paying for? WTF?

4 months ago, Vodafone had extremely fast wifi. Now the connection is the absolute worst garbage ever. Very frequent spikes where the internet just stops working. And you can barely get over 2 MB/s. Do not use Vodafone.

Cea mai proasta alegere Vodafone! semnal de internet si televiziune jalnic, mai mult fara semnal.
factura enisa dupa o perioada de 3 luni de la rezilierea contractului. Contract reziliat pe motive tehnice - semnal aproape inexistent in centrul orasului

Cel mai slab semnal din țară!
Ce-a mai slabă echipa de tehnicieni , de luni de zile plătesc degeaba și nu vine nimeni să remedieze problema .
Îmi pare rău că nu pot adaugă poze să vă arat ce transmit domnii numai liniuțe și puncte !
Nu recomand !!!!!!

Worst service provider! Be aware as they have abusive clauses and will try to impose on you abusive taxes. We made an uggrade to a subscription one year ago because they refused to activate roaming without changing the subscription and they abusively imposed a 2 years extention of the contract period without telling us and without any reason because we did not beneficiate from any offer, reduction, promotion.
Stay away from this provider!

Customer for more than 5 years.. totally unhappy for their service. They’re only looking for their own interest . Very dissapointed! NOT RECOMMEND !!

Pot sa spun cu mâna pe suflet , că Vodafone este cea mai josnică companie . E cel puțin a 10-a oară când sunt furat pe față ..sa suni la relații cu clienți din interiorul spațiului EEA ..mai nou costă 35 de euro pentru 1 minut și 12 secunde ... Recomand Digi cu căldură..tratat că un om , nu ca o vaca de muls ..

We've had internet from a previous company that was bought by Vodafone and now the internet service is significantly worse. Due to on site limitations, we cannot switch to another provider at the moment.
To reduce the subscription cost my mom decided to port her number to Vodafone, as part of a combo promotion that also covered the internet.
1st problem we encountered, the person we worked with from Vodafone in regards to the new contract blatantly lied us twice about the cost/month due to some additional features that we were included in the promotion, but are not covered for the entire period of the contract. We found this the hard way when the monthly bill included some crappy benefit that was apparently covered for 2 months only.
Even more, they kept sending us the TV/internet bill, never the one for phone services. We later found out they created 2 separate customer codes and now we have to juggle them in order to see the associated bills.
This month, surprise, our phone bill was like 80% bigger than in the previous month as additional taxes. Only to find out they apparently disconnected the phone and then we had to pay a reconnection fee.
1st of all, there was not interruption of the phone services, 2nd the payment suffered a 2-3 delay, because we didn't have access to the bill and 3rd no notifications whatsoever regarding the bill or a possible interruption of the service, that apparently only happened on paper. According to the contract, they were supposed to add late fees for the 1st month and only after that going for service interruption.
We went to the store, the people there were unhelpful and rude, they gave us a phone number to call.
A lot of time and energy wasted. Clients are not to be blamed because of their incompetence and their poor software. Also the way they abuse their clients is simply unacceptable.
As of now, we were unable to talk with anyone to solve the issue, so most likely we're going to address the issue to the ANPC and maybe we will see them in court

Worst internet/telephony provider in Romania. Customer support is the worst, prices are too much for what they offer.
I would give 0 stars if I could.
They once blocked my phone number from calling their support, because they messed up my phone number and i could not receive calls anymore, for almost a whole month.

Cele mai proaste servicii pe care le-am întâlnit.
Nu poți lua legătura cu cei de la servicii clienți... au făcut un abonament cu device-uri incluse de 154 de lei unei persoane cu handicap. Habar nu am cum de au făcut asta având în vedere că persoana în cauză nu este chiar conștientă de acțiunile sale.

Worst service I've ever encountered.
You can't get in touch with customer service... they gave a 154 lei subscription with devices included to a disabled person. I have no idea how they did that considering the person in question is not even aware of their actions.

Vodafone employees never disclosed the real problems if you want to close your account. Never find a customer service phone number to ask questions. Never answer any calls. I tried to call a lady representative at +40372024484 and never answered. Stay away from this untrusted company Vodafone from Bucharest, Romania.

Atentie: cand va cumpărați un telefon in rate de la vodafone vi se alipeste automat inca un numar cu abonament ,pe care evident ca nu il folosiți , dar il platiti pe toata durata contractului , adica până terminati ratele.
Despre acest lucru nu va informeaza nimeni.
Daca nu solicitati intreruperea veti plati in continuare acel numar.
Daca solicitati intreruperea ,cum am facut eu, va prelungeste automat contractul pe numarul pe care il utilizati , inca 2 ani ,prin niste oferte pe care zic ei ca le am acceptat prin sms.
Orice contact cu ei costa.
Voi indemna pe toata lumea sa nu se aboneze la aceasta companie.

Very bad internet connection and high prices. I can't recommend this shit service

Am cumpărat o cartela SIM cu oferta deja activată. Îmi trebuia să am o oferta roaming pentru Austria. Am lăsat-o așa nu sa putut lua creditul înapoi. Am activat inca o oferta cu roaming. Aceasta a ținut doar o săptămână. Cand m-am întors în țară, surpriza odată ce sa dezactivat oferta de roaming și cealaltă sa dezactivat. Deci furt pe față acum ce vreți să cumpăr altă ofertă? Plus că nici nu poți da de ei decât dacă plătești sa suni. Ceea ce nu voi face. Nu mai merg pe Vodafone în viața mea
