The staff and the services provided were excellent.
The ship itself is in immaculate condition and the itinerary was wonderful. The meals were delicious and plentiful.
The only downside was the size of the cabins but honestly, you were only in them to sleep and shower.

We were so happy with how clean and well kept all areas of the ship were...the housekeepers are so accomodating...filling up our water bottles,listening to any concerns we had and acted immediately on any requests, cleaning our room at convienent times and greeting you with a smile every day. The food choices were wonderful...it would be hard to imagine not finding thigs to eat. The wait staff was also incredibly attentive to our needs...they had it to us before we even asked. Every worker on the ship always took time to say hello. Never having been on the lakes we really enjoyed all the stops the ship made. The Lakelorian and the cruise shore director were great..so helpful and took time to make sure we had the right info at each trip. Having the same buses was very nice...great drivers and buses were always clean. The local guides were all really worth listening to too. The nightly entertainment was so enjoyable...what a talented group of musicians...they did a great job! My one suggestion would be to have a hotel that had a shuttle from the airport to take when you arrived to start your trip. The hotel was fine.

Would have liked to spend an overnight in Milwaukee or Cleveland as opposed to time in more time Escanaba and would not go to Soo lock town on a Sunday since everything was closed

Excellent experience! Highlights were Niagara Falls, the Ford Museum, and Mackinac Island. The food was excellent. Movies in the afternoon or evening would enhance the cruise. Daily newsletters in the room would be beneficial as a reminder of the day's activities. Staff was excellent. Some of the ports lacked attractions.

I liked the staff. I thought they were so friendly and attentive. The food was what would be expected for a cruise but not exceptional. The excursions that you paid for were not worth the price. One claimed get your walking shoes on and the only walking we did was from the bus to the ice cream bar. The boat did not seem real concerned with health issues. Hand Sanitizer was available going into eating areas but not enforced. Buffets lines were really lax. My husband and I both got very sick with a virus from the cruise

Highly Recommend!! The service and the staff were outstanding on Victory 1. The Great Lakes was never on the top of my travel list, but I was pleasantly surprised exploring this part of the United States!

The service and the food were outstanding. We had only one "day at sea" and there were not many activities to take advantage of. There was a half hour of bingo and a couple of activities or short lectures. Although we would love a longer cruise we are concerned about the extra sea days on a smaller ship.

Pros: The food and the service was exceptional. Uno was the best waiter we've ever had. Ari did a nice job on our room. The excursions were interesting and were run smoothly and efficiently.
Cons: the rooms were very small. We enjoyed the talks but a door between the tavern and lounge would have cut down on the noise.

Service was terrific! Stateroom was great for solo traveler. Food and beverage were delicious, very very plentiful with great variety.

Staff was wonderful hard working and always smiling.

Excursions were very well organized and informative.

I enjoyed the nightly entertainment. Band members were talented and friendly.

The ships crew was amazing, the food was delicious, the lectures informative and the land trips were well organized with good guides.

Personal attention. Several employees were able to call me by names after only a day or two.

Your staff is stellar:friendly & very helpful. The food was excellent, tasty, & plentiful. I enjoyed every tour we took. There was lots of information given. The band was fantastic!! But I tend to be a bit claustrophobic so the cabin gave me some anxiety.

It would really be hard to improve on what our experience was on Victory's Great Lakes Cruise. Food was superb at every meal! Staff was the best I have ever experienced on a cruise and the excursions were amazing!! I can't say enough except to give our whole experience 10 STARS!

Great cruise, excellent crew, wonderful excursions and lectures, good food, and what's not to like about a "floating open bar" We like the all-inclusive approach - keep up that business model.
