Let down and Disappointed…
The fabrics were nice but the patches and below standard. I was excited waiting on delivery but very disappointed in finished product. It now just sits in the closet.

We’d like to clarify that the patches on this jacket were created from customer-supplied custom artwork. When custom artwork is uploaded—especially if the image quality is low, highly detailed, hand-drawn in appearance, or includes gradients in smaller patch areas—the final result can vary depending on the decoration method selected.
At Varsity Base, we offer several different patch and decoration options depending on the type of artwork and desired finish, including embroidery, chenille (for larger patch designs), and digitally printed patches for highly detailed or photo-style artwork. In this case, embroidery was selected, which can be more challenging for smaller patches or artwork with fine detail and gradient-style elements.
Because we did not receive any follow-up questions or requests to review alternative patch methods before production, we proceeded based on the selected customization choices and produced the patches to the best of our ability using the chosen method.
That said, we understand your disappointment, and our team would still be happy to review the order with you directly and discuss whether there may be any possible options to help. Please feel free to reach out to us.

Finally a website where I could design my own varsity jacket.
The website was fairly easy to use in designing my own jacket. The wait time to get my jacket was reasonable and it matched what was told to me. I got email updates as to how my order was progressing. I do feel that the jacket could've come better packaged.

Excellent, except for...
I really liked how easy it was to design my jacket on the website, and the final product looked very close to the sample I created online.
The listing mentioned embroidery, and it was done, but there were some differences in how it was applied. One area had direct embroidery on the sleeve, another appeared to be embroidery on a patch, and the back included chenille. The techniques weren’t completely consistent across the jacket.
Overall, the jacket still looked great, and the quality was good. I just wish the company communicated more clearly about the type of embroidery or patchwork used in each area.

In our builder, we suggest certain decoration types for specific placements based on what typically works best visually and structurally. However, customers also have the ability to override those suggestions and select their preferred customization method for each area—whether that’s embroidery, chenille, direct embroidery, or a patch application.

Our team did respond throughout the process and also offered to arrange a call to discuss any concerns directly, as we understand custom orders can sometimes require more detailed communication. We also want to clarify that when customers upload their own patch artwork, those files remain the customer’s intellectual property, and we typically do not alter the colors or design of customer-supplied patches unless specifically arranged in advance.

Great communication throughout the entire process. They were willing to make sure we got exactly what we wanted through numerous emails. They Let us know when they were beginning, incase we had any last minute changes. The only thing I would complain about is the packaging was not the greatest. The box was flimsy and actually broke open at one corner.

The entire experience of shopping on Varsity Base was absolutely wonderful. Designing the jacket was so easy and nice and I was so happy that I was able to design custom patches for the jacket because we were able to make very special patches like one based on Psalm 27:1 which says:
Of David.
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
I was also contacted later by a representative from Varsity Base to ensure that everything with the jacket was just right which I thought was so amazing because I was able to see that they are truly concerned with giving the best quality items they can and the representatives from Varsity Base that I spoke to were very kind. We have already received the jacket at this point and it is absolutely beautiful!!! The color is gorgeous and we are super happy with it. All the glory be to God that the jacket is amazing and He guided Varsity Base in what they do and in making a beautiful item, and thank you to Varsity Base for working so hard to make this experience so great!
