I have after a gap of a good few years,recently ordered plants from this company. I have had ,over the years, plants from a few companies , which have all been good but I dont think I've had anything to beat the great condition of the plants I've had from this supplier. They were strong and sturdy and I was totally delighted when I opened the boxes
I definately order from them again as their delivery ,packaging and contents were extremely good. My son has been clearing my garden as I no longer can so I will definately be ordering from them again. Just depends how fast he digs.

A leg on my old wooden ground feeder tray had broken - too many soakings coupled with a very large hedgehog climbing into it to feed!

I needed something more robust but still attractive. My usual supplier was out of stock of the wood-look plastic alternative I chose but after a quick Google I found this one which I liked even better as it is a dark green and looks like stained wood.

Ordering was easy and delivery was quick. The tray is robust, has a firm, easy-clean base and I’m hoping it will last many years. It’s a little higher off the ground than the old tray but the birds like it and it only took a couple of evenings before Mr Hedgehog was back & investigating for leftovers.

I wrote a bad review after receiving my order but I immediately heard from Van Meuwen and the total cost of the order plus delivery was refunded to my credit card account. I have now revised my review

Received plants not in great condition but my issues was solved out in instant. Will definitely buy again in future.

I ordered an alstroemeria Indian summer plant. Reading the description I thought I was getting a full size plant (or at least something of decent size) what I received was nothing more than a seedling for almost £17. It also arrived damaged and the box it came in was no better.

I ordered 2 glam rock shrubs and 6 Mrs Scott Elliot plugs . I received an email with tracking info for my order but sadly the site didn't work properly so my tracking wasn't displayed. This worried me a little and I came online and read nothing but bad reviews about the company,the quality of plants etc and it did genuinely concern me. So I emailed van meuwen in regards to my order and when the delivery will be ,this was less than a week since I placed my order (I guess I'm impatient) they repsonded the same day with concern my items had gone missing in the post and as they were no longer in stock they said they would give me a full refund for the items and apologised. The refund was sent back to me within 2 days and unbelievably the shrubs actually arrived the next day aswell ! So don't judge them based on some of the reviews on here as my experience has been very positive,their customer service was very good and the shrubs that did arrive look very healthy and well packed

I ordered some winter pansies and was offered 6 aquilegia as an add-on. They arrived last week - only 4, not 6 and no sign of the other 2, only 2 empty plug cells. I contacted Van Meuwen immediately and sent a photo. 4 days later, not even an acknowledgement, so I contacted them again. 2 days later and still nothing. Apparently the pansies have been dispatched and I’m dreading to see what condition they arrive in. Not happy.

More than happy with the delivery but happier still that they were five good, strong giant geraniums at an extremely happy £2.99 instead of £24.99. Seem to be coming on nicely, so what is there not to like about this bumper bundle from Van Meuwen?!

Two items on my order. Smaller item was sent in very bad condition. The main item not dispatched despite estimated shipping of seven days. 3 weeks later contacted customer support only to be told to that they are planning to dispatch it after another 3 weeks i.e. six weeks after the order. Didn't even acknowledge or explain the discrepancy. Order information cannot be trusted. Better off using another vendor.

I purchased the buddleja buzz collection last summer. They arrived as small plug plants and so this year is their first year of bloom and what a beautiful display they have put on. The colours are magnificent, covered in butterflies and bees. A beautiful addition to my garden and well worth the wait.

Ordered a Clematis in April. Supposed to be delivered by end of July which was ridiculous anyway. Not received and no other info about it either. Asked for refund and response agreeing to refund received immediately. Indicates the plant was never going to arrive anyway. Shocking service.

Looks like we are all in the same boat. Sounds familiar - told my order will now be end of July but when I emailed their so called customer care address got same “undeliverable” reply. Wished I’d never placed an order with them.

I have put one star so I can get on this review, but if I could have put -0 I would have. I have been waiting MONTHS for an order and was eventually told it would be the end of July - it is now the 1st August, with no updates, no explanations - nothing. I am disgusted and deeply regret using them. I can only assume they have no customer service - the joke is their email begins with care ... breathtakingly awful. colette behr

I had a partially fulfilled order in May. Chased up in June by phone (had to wait to get through). A very disinterested call centre employee assured me 2 weeks. End of July now, still nothing. I'm trying facebook messaging now for a response. I'm sure they deal with very high volumes of orders but the dismal customer service must be resulting in loss of custom. The email that they keep giving out for contact (care@) is undeliverable. Very disappointing.

Only half of plants arrived that I paid for 77 not 144 and all those were dead and was offered a partial refund which I refused as I paid good money and waited along time for this disappointing experience I eventually received a full refund will never use them again previous orders were not this dissapointing and b4 any mention of weather it wasn't hot when I received them shambles so peeved not happy with them at all

Ordered a hanging basking cost £17.98 including postage. Most of the flowers were dead or dying. Centre of basket completely empty with the few plants in the basket uprooted.
Have emailed them with photos and requested an email.
Really surprised that a company would send out such sub standard products.

Not pleased at all. Would have liked to have been given the courtesy of being able to cancel my order
Tried emailing Van Muewen but no response.

Have used Van Meuwen for years but last year standards deteriorated and this year I am disgusted by the quality of recieved plants and cancellations and there pithy excuses are a joke anything but the truth.They are now absolute rubbish and would advise anybody to spend their money elsewhere.

I have had several orders from Van meuwen and have always been satisfied with the quality of the plants I have received also the care with which they were packed and they have always arrived in great condition.
Will continue to use them as I'm sure I wont be disappointed.
