Chris was so helpful in organising our flights for Grenada.

When booking my flight via Kane at Travel Unravel by recomending an alternative flight path with a different Airline it would save me £200 and still able to fly early Feb with only a 1 hour stop over instead of 4hours therfore i was very grateful so I will certainly be using this company again and Kanes recommendations great service John R.MacColl

Dean is THE BEST British Airways advisor that I have ever encountered in over 25 years of flying with BA. He was responsive, proactive, followed up with me after the call on two separate occasions, sorted an issue with seats and suggested alternatives that were better for me. I was speaking to Dean to book my flights. Dean was amazing. He was patience with me when I couldn't hear him and when my baby was crying in thr background. He looked at flights for me and even finding me a better deal. Dean always reassure me what he is doing updating me as an when. He walked me through the booking and make it so easy. During this difficult time and flights booked to Auckland via Doha being cancelled. Roger has been exceptional in his help in getting us alternative flights to Auckland. We were going to visit our daughter who is expecting her first baby which meant we could not postpone the flight . Roger found us an excellent alternative flight at a competitive price. He contacted us several times during the day by phone and email to ensure that all details were correct. I felt very reassured with his care and professionalism during the whole process. This is the second time I have booked a flight with Roger and won’t hesitate to do so again.

I booked with Roger to bring my family from Brisbane to Gatwick via Shanghai with Chinese Eastern Air. On return stopping at Shanghai for 3 nights.
I am not flying, but did the reverse journey UK to Brisbane return in Oct 2025.
Roger booked flexible tickets which was unnecessary. I believe TravelUnravel flight prices are inflated from the start so that they can then include stopover hotel prices at very little cost. The hotel he suggested was only 7 storeys high, so no view. I like high rise as always a good view. I asked for the 5* Kunlun Jing An hotel & he told me it was £100 more, but didn’t stress it was per person. This came as a shock as there are six people. Having recently stayed in this hotel I knew family would enjoy it.
The breakfast was so enormous I did not eat anything else during my 3 night stay! October temp was too hot 28 degrees at 8am through to 10pm, with humidity was measuring 41 degrees & too hot to do much walking.
Future visits to Shanghai will be in winter when cooler.

Every car purchaser in Shanghai is given a 40% grant to buy an electric car, my first taxi driver told me. My return taxi driver through phone translator told me he spoke no English.

Oct 2025, the return Tesla taxi driver did not look at the road for the one hour journey to PuDong Airport. I chose to be in the front seat. He spent the whole time on his mobile phone.

Once out of the city & on open road, we were chasing a white car at 70+mph in the outside lane. The white car veered slightly from his lane & quickly corrected himself.
The Tesla’s emergency brakes re-acted & car definitely whistled & made other loud wake up noises.

Through phone translator, my taxi driver blamed the car in front & I disagreed telling him, I was paying him or his company to give me a comfortable ride & it is his responsibility when driving to look at the road. His reply was “the car can do the work”.

My next Shanghai visit I will use the metro from the airport.

Metro Line 2 invaluable. All luggage taken on metro goes through an airport type scanner & I found metro easy to use in Shanghai.
