SCAM... I was searching around Transunion looking for free credit report, I provided some info for that and without my authorization or agreement signed me into a monthly subscription charging my Visa monthly fees. It was month two when i realized and called immediately to cancle and demand a refund. They obviously know what they are up to as they cancelled and refunded my charges without hesitation. I was thankfull for the refund but this should not be allowed. "Beware"

I filed chapter 7 Nov 22, 2023 and all my debt and assets became property of the Bankruptcy Estate. Transunion is saying I am 60 days late on 2 accounts. Once I file chapter 13 or 7 the accounts no longer belong to me and the creditor is not allowed to report. Because the accounts no longer belong to me. Transunion does not understand this. They keep saying I was 60 days late and that I still have $1,499 in debt.I had to contact Credit-Restoration Hub to get them to assist me repair it, and I've since ceased interacting with Transunion. They need to understand the legislation.

TransUnion's system is broken and dismissive of serious concerns. They make themselves unavailable—not just to customers, but also to the companies they collect information from. There’s no email support, scripted phone agents, and a lengthy dispute process. In my case, it took 3 months, and despite their condescending responses like "happy" and "warmest regards," they closed the case without resolving the errors. A simple call to the leasing company could have resolved it, but instead, I had to escalate it to Ontario's Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery to hold TransUnion accountable for their critical failures. I give TransUnion 0/5 stars.

I am upset with this credit agency.
There is a report on my credit report and another name than my real name and they keep this fake account on my credit report.
Last time I was on phone with them and ask them to make sure everything on my account are accurate because no one can't force me to give me different name.
They refused to delete this fake account

My SSN was compromised in the recent National Public Data security breach, so I decided to freeze my credit (probably should have done this some time ago). With Expedia and Experian this was straightforward. With TransUnion it is not -- the verification process is confusing and so far non-functional. This company should not be allowed to perform such an important public function with this level of service.

My data got breached trying to freeze all three credit bureaus had success with two of them no problem. TransUnion is just being ridiculous. I filled out everything correctly, but it says it cannot verify my identity. It’s the same information I used with the other two, My data has been leaked yet I can’t freeze my credit with Trans Union. It’s impossible to get help, you can leave leave your number to keep your place in line, but it doesn’t work. Trans Union has issues worst customer service.

My disappointment with this service runs deep. Right from the beginning, the information they provided was inaccurate and misleading; it felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. When I tried to cancel my membership, I couldn't find any option on their website—it’s almost as if they don't want you to leave! Instead of an efficient process for cancellation, I'm now left dealing with having to phone one of their salespeople who wants to debate instead of resolving my issue amicably. After reviewing dozens of negative reviews, someone shared a link where you can cancel online, but this is completely hidden on their website. This amount of hassle is unacceptable and has soured my entire perception of them as a company. I regret signing up in the first place and will be telling my bank never to recommend them again.

Time for Americans to start a class action suit against all these agencies for holding the average working people back the ignorance of paying your bills and loosing 59 points and IF you miss a payment loose 39 points but after 6 months get back 9 points they need to be investigated and regulated!!!!

Complete joke. Removed an account from my file and made my score go down substantially. Told me they didn't. LOL I am holding in my hand the document that tells me they did. Asked to speak to a manager or higher level of support (support person Lucy was messaging someone to help me and was fairly rude), and was told I could not. Then she hung up. And you want me to pay for your service? Yeah, no.

Terrible company. Processes are long and archaic. Call centre rep was rude and arrogant. Not customer focused at all - everything is setup to be easy for them and hard for the customer

Wrong information on my credit report from them..their customer service sucks along with barclay credit card..they think it's ok to dick your credit report around.their customer service agents are not well versed in english..their crooks, and shady

Worst customer service experience ever. I got charged for a premium account without ever receiving a prompt to let me know I was signing up for a paid account. After the first charge I called to get the account cancelled, which they obliged and said I should se the refund in 3-5 business days. A month later, with no refund, I receive another charge. After calling in and being redirected to a half-dozen different departments, I was FINALLY able to get the account deactivated, and they said the refund would be processed in 3-5 business days. A week later, after still not seeing either refund, I spent 2 hrs being transferred from department to department, only to be told that because the account was now deactivated they couldn't process anything with it, and I needed to email their fulfillment center. And of course, i got the same run around from them. A truly terrible experience, I will never use them again and advise anyone against doing so.

This department is absolutely difunctional. I wanted to print a credit report to check my credit score. I spent 2 hours on the phone with people from India who had no clue what they did. All emails that have been sent to me were delayed as they were coming from India. I tried to enter computer generated codes but not knowing that I will need to enter the code twice and each time it will be a different number. To my disbelief the 2nd. code arrived 8 minutes later. I did not know that this was taking so much time and meanwhile my access to the account had been locked. It is very frustrating. I am still willing to try one more time and see if I have any chance. They should be shut down for their incompetency and errors created on people's profile.

Absolutely horrible service. We have a subscription with them at our office but they consistently do not response when we need updates to the account but are on the ball for asking for payments. HM. They want us to pay but they don't provide proper service. I'm not even asking for a reply within 24 hours. Heck even give me 48 hours, that's fine but they will reply only after several attempts to contact them and at a months time. Horrible service. I can't believe they're traded publicly.

I noticed that my credit card account was listed as closed on my credit report; I disputed this, telling them it was an active, open account. Their response was to delete the credit card entirely! My credit score dropped significantly because of this, and since the card no longer appears on my report, I can't even dispute it again! Customer service refused to rectify the situation, very unhelpful.

They charged my credit card $28 and locked my account. I can't access it to get the credit report nor obtain a copy of it .I called the customer service and found my account and sent me a new temporary code which I used and then the account was locked again after using the code. It is so frustrating because I have been trying to get the report for two days without any luck. Now, I don't even know how to cancel it as I don't want them to charge my credit card.

Customer service not listening to my question. Asking the same queation twice in a row that I didn't ask. I'm extremly frustrated.

Awful customer service! I was shocked that a company managing the credit process is so unprofessional and not very knowledgeable. The person I spoke to could not answer my questions and would respond with answers that had nothing to do with my questions. The person did not listen to what I was saying; it was like talking to a bot. The second time I called, the person had a slight attitude as I was asking for clarification, and he kept responding, saying his message was clear as if he didn't want to put in the effort to explain further.
I also tried to create a dispute on their website; it took me an hour, and they wouldn't let me submit it. I used the online chat, and the person said they could not help me and that I had to call. When I called, the person had no information and didn't understand what had happened. I had to explain the situation three times, but I don't think he was listening. Overall, this company has been horrendous to deal with. If this is the common way they deal with consumers, it might be wise to improve their processes and procedures to be more professional, supportive and helpful, especially for something so important as a credit score. I would consider this a very poor effort to help the consumer and negligence as a business with a duty to help people with their credit score.

I even didn't complete my registration because of the error "Online Identity Verification System Temporarily Unavailable", but was immediately charged by 28 CAD! I was not going to pay for any reports, just wanted to explore this platform! Now I even cannot remove my credit cart from the platform!!!

Good experience with customer service today. I needed an error correction on my credit report. The agent made the correction quickly and was very helpful. Short wait on the phone call. So different from my poor experience with Experian.
