Been using them as my primary on-line source since 2009. Only two problems that required their attention and they were dealt with quickly and to my full satisfaction.

I believe that their customer service is non-existent. They offer no email address. Their phones are only for orders and long distance for me. When looking at products there's a place to ask a question. . .but they never send an answer. A long time ago they were a good company but now I'm leary.

Watch the Scatch and dent items , I was told that they do not have time and it is not worth it to accurately describe Scratch and dent items and the desription is not accurate but it's such a good deal that you should be happy without what ever you get which I think is BS ! I have been a customer for over ten years and spent over $15,000 dollars and they treated me like S*** ! I will not but another thing from them ! This was a manager I talked to also. He basically told me that my business with them means squatt !! I'm done with them. You can buy a item that says box damage only and it be totally destroyed and missing parts and it's not that much cheaper than the full priced item. They have no respect for these items and just throw things in the box and what wasn't that badly damaged before sure is when you get it ! They used to be great then they became employee owned and turned to Crap !! Avoid these people !!!

I bought a bunch of stuff on backorder. Once it was available, the geniuses as Towerhobbies shipped every item as individual packages. This meant I had to pay shipping and import duties on each item. One of the items was $1 and shipping $33. Towerhobbies said it is company policy to send backorders as soon as possible. So even though these invoices all follow sequentially on each order(meaning they were available at the same time), they still decided to ship individually.
When I contacted customer care it is as if you are communicating with a robot programmed to say the same things. They are not willing to see your side of the story of answer very specific questions.
Worst customer service ever.

I have spent over 100,000 with them and unlike Horizon Hobby they dont go out of their way to take care of you.
Strictly business about money in there pocket and they doint belive the consumer on anything....I have had more than 500 dealings wth them EASY

I've made six or so transactions with Towerhobbies for RC and modeling gear and have never had any issues. They offer a good selection and fast order processing. If I'm looking for anything, Tower is my first option before I look to amazon and the other hobby sites.

I purchased a very larger order (Slash Ultimate w/many accesories) expected to get at least $40 e-cash to spend. Only to find out that my $40 e-cash expired in 5 days from my order, it expired before my order was delivered/even shipped! RC is a big time hobby, and requires constant work/parts. I will never go back to Tower Hobbies regardless of pricing, discounts, coupons, rebates.

i just recently got into the RC hobby. i own a traxxas e revo 1/10. i recently converted to lipo and blew out my tires. so i decided to go with tower hobbies because they were spoken highly of in many forums ive visited.... however.... it has been the WORST experience ever. upon visiting their website and entering my info, the products that were supposed to match my 1/10 scale model were not the ones i ended up ordering. i placed my order for all 1/10 scale product but recieved 1/16 products. the invoice matches, when i tried to explain tothem that their website was misleading they were not helpful in any way, and on top of the 30$ for shipping the first time, i now have to pay an additional 15$ to send it back. they werent even willing to comp the shipping which is 45$ ill never see again. their website sucks and isnt well put together. they sent me 2 extra of everything i ordered. luckilly i have a friend that owns the 1/16 e revo and he offered to buy some of the products off of me. i WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN... PERIOD. THEY ARE SNAKES. i highly reccomend power line hobbies. for their awesome tech support and well detailed site. overall, this has been the WORST ONLINE BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER....
