Tonies is the best toy I’ve ever brought kids never get bored of tonies keeps them calm and I love the fact they bringing out tonies for all ages as I have a 3 6 and 8 year old who love there tonies box still! Customer service was very helpful when my youngest sons tonie box was faulty got a new tonie box replacement within 2 days of making claim on Thursday and recieved replacement today!

Best thing since sliced bread
I have just bought a Tonie for my nephew.. I think they are the best thing since sliced bread.. My nephew is 19mth old and it is a nightmare trying to get him to sit for a story.. We now take him up to bed and put his Tonie on while getting him off to sleep.. We leave it on then if he wakes up his stories is still playing..

Beware - they break, and Tonies won’t help. Devastated 4yr old
So disappointed with this company. My son’s box just completely stopped working only a couple of months outside of their two year ‘guarantee’. It’s completely dead and won’t turn on. Troubleshooting didn’t work. Tonie’s have refused to help in anyway whatsoever leaving my little boy so upset as he relied on his box to get to sleep. Be warned - these don’t last and Tonies don’t care!

Brilliant device and customer service
Our family has had many hours of enjoyment with my child's Tonie Box. I love the feature where a story can be recorded by me and she can listen to it whenever she likes, plus new characters are always on her wishlist! I think it is a great aid to develop children's love of reading. Our Tonie Box 1 charger failed but Tonies customer service was fantastic in getting this rectified. Thank you Tonies!!

Too app/internet heavy
Did not realise how app heavy the Tonie box was. Wanted a story telling device I could just plug in and pop the character on. Should have made it to use without an app. Will likely be re gifting. Why does the box even need WiFi to set up!?

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We understand that needing Wi-Fi and the tonies app during the initial setup may not be what you expected from a simple storytelling device, but is essential to ensure updates and the latest story content can be kept up to date.
To confirm though, the tonies® app is primarily designed to provide extended parental features and manage your Toniebox. Once your Toniebox has been set up and the content has been downloaded, you don't need the app for general listening – you can simply turn on your box and pop a Tonie on top then you're good to go.
Wi-Fi is required during the initial setup and when downloading new content, but the Toniebox can then play downloaded content without needing to be connected to Wi-Fi.
We hope this helps clarify how the Toniebox works, and we're sorry this wasn't clearer when you purchased.

Stops working after a few years
These aren’t a cheap product. After 3 years it stopped working. After contacting customer support their response was there was nothing they could do as the warranty is only for 2 years. So be warned, they don’t last forever and you’ll be left with upset children.

Absolutely disgusting service
Absolutely disgusting service, to say the least.
I was travelling to the UK for business and placed my order well in advance to be delivered to my hotel. I even paid extra for overnight delivery to make sure it arrived in time.
The order was never delivered and was eventually returned to Tonies. Despite this, I was then told that I would have to wait up to FOUR WEEKS to receive a refund.
What made the situation even worse was that no one was willing to take responsibility or make any real effort to help get my order to me before I left the UK. I had planned ahead, paid for expedited delivery, and still ended up without my order and without my money being promptly refunded.
Extremely disappointing service from start to finish. Based on this experience, I will not deal with this company again.

Additionally, we’re also sorry for any confusion around the refund timeframe — four weeks is the maximum timeframe before we can step in to investigate, rather than the expected time for your refund to be processed. While we expect a refund to be processed far sooner than 4 weeks, if you have not received a full refund within this time please reach out to us and we will of course take all further action to support you.

Very impressed with how fast they mange…
Very impressed with how fast they mange to help me with a replacement box as mine started to give me the code word fox.
After a couple back and forth emails with evidence of the box being broken they sent me a shipping label for it to be sent back to them and for a new one to be sent. Very suprised that they even let u change the colour of your box if you would like to.
Very happy with this experience as my little boy loves his tonies so much

Disappointed with the customer service
Disappointed with the customer service. I got in touch due to a tonie I have for my 2 year old containing very poor English and for something that should be educational I wasn’t impressed. I asked for an exchange and was told this was not possible. I escalated my complaint and after being ignored I followed up and was told there was nothing that could be done. So I’ve got a tonie character that teaches my child incorrect English so I don’t feel comfortable using it. Very poor customer service

Outstanding customer service
Placed quite a large order for only half of it to arrive and what did arrive, the packaging had been damaged. I contacted the customer service team at Tonies who were great. The team were extremely helpful. Communication with them throughout the process of getting my completed order to me was thorough.

We are definitely a Tonies family
We are definitely a Tonies family! All three of my boys have a Toniebox 2, and before upgrading we had two Toniebox 1s, so you can tell just how much we love them in our house! 😂
Our two older boys, aged 8 and 3, use their Tonieboxes every single night before bed. Between the three boys, we now have 99 Tonies to choose from, so there is always something different to listen to!
We upgraded to the Toniebox 2s mainly for the new games, and although we have quite a few, the Disney and Spiderman games are definitely favourites in our house!
Our 18-month-old especially loves his Casper Babypants, Cocomelon, Tigger and Winnie the Pooh Tonies. 🥹 It’s so lovely seeing all three boys enjoying them at their different ages.
They genuinely get used every single day in our house — and the battery life is fantastic too!
I also have to mention the customer service, which has been brilliant. The team have always been so helpful, friendly and efficient whenever we’ve needed assistance.
We absolutely love our Tonies and couldn’t imagine our bedtime routine without them now!
99 Tonies, 3 Toniebox 2s and three very happy boys — we’re definitely a Tonies family!
