The roller board quality is solid. However, when the handle broke, customer service sent me a new handle part to install myself. This required removing and then installing over 30 screws which in my option were not meant to be replaced as several of the receiving threads stripped during the process. Wished customer service would have just sent a new bag.

The whole process of warranty/repair claim was excellent. I submitted all my info + photos online, got an acknowledgement of the submittal right away, and then heard directly about my repair options within a few days. I shipped my bag, and again the response after it was received was fast. The cost to repair the bag was very reasonable, and the repair process happened much faster than I anticipated, and when I received my bag back, the inner liner that was repaired looks fantastic and brand new. I whole experience was great, and communication along the way was so critical to such a positive experience. I'll gladly support and recommend Timbuk2.

I have a 18(!) year old messenger bag I got graduating from my grad program. It had a lining that worked well but started to break down just from the natural wear over that time. Everything else about the bag was still pristine, and I didn't want to lose the bag.

The support team was fantastic about walking through the process of replacing the lining. I was also able to request new features including the laptop sleeve and cup holder, as well as a handle. The price was super reasonable, the experience was smooth, and I got exactly what I wanted.

I am so grateful that Timbuk2 was able to repair my bag. Clearly the lining was deteriorating because of age (14 years old) and they were able to repair it for the low cost of $25 with free shipping back to me (I paid to ship it to them instead of dropping off at a store). I have had a Timbuk2 bag of some sort for over 22 years, and I'll never choose anything else!

No delivery, no tracking

I have really enjoyed my bag. It is good to not have to worry about things falling apart or ripping. I was on the bus recently and I was surprised to notice that my bag had ripped. It was a very simple process to submit a warranty claim. I did it on my phone while still on the bus. The repair was quick and there was clear communication with updates at every step. Very impressed.

It’s like I have a new bag! Totally satisfying experience that makes me more likely to continue choosing Timbuk2 products in the future.

The lining of my bag deteriorated and I reached out to see if that repair was possible. Email responses were prompt, friendly, and quite honestly, a delight. I shipped my bag in and got it back looking as good as the day I bought it. SO happy to have used this service.

Really happy that Timbuk2 stands behind their products. One of their bags that I've had for a while has been in for repairs twice, but each time they have covered it. I am happy with that. The bag still works really well after each repair. The minor inconvenience of not having the bag for a little bit is fine.

First of all, I have had Timbuk2 products for years. Very practical, functional and “tough”.

I purchased a “backpack OS” for mainly my laptop “storage/transport”. Recently, I noticed that there was a rip in the seam by the handle.

I know the lifetime guarantee was stated but, really didn’t know how it worked and if it would work.

I contacted Timbuk2 “repair” and submitted my request. You accepted it, I sent in the pack and just received a notice that it has been repaired and being sent back to me!

Impressive! I love it. Reuse, my beloved pack. Go Timbuk2! Keep up the good work.

Timbuk2 re-lined the waterproof membrane and repaired a clip on my messenger bag. For $25 it was well spent to help the bag to last for years (again). However, the carabiner was not repaired despite my request to do so.

Great bag! I bought the same bag 15 years ago and I’m just replacing the old one.
