The vendor in China was rather slow to make and deliver the product, but service from The Doll House was first rate. No complaints. On the whole, good answers to my questions. First time doll owner and very happy to have found The Doll House (TDH) among the dollforum.com verified vendors list. If you are at all interested in maybe buying one, I highly recommend that you talk to Phil from TDH.

They have the best prices I've seen, and it includes all shipping, import duties and taxes. Not to mention the upgraded skeleton by default (which is usually an expensive option with other vendors), and three free bonus wigs, which is a great way of adding some extra variety.

Before shipping the package that they receive from the manufacturer on to you, at a date of your choosing, TDH checks to make sure that everything is in order. That's what I call service and convenience, and was also a big factor for me in choosing TDH.

Many other vendors will simply "drop ship" directly to your address, and leave you to deal with the manufacturer or customs if there are any issues.

Also Phil was available for any questions I had, and he will go out of his way to help you out if he can. If you are going to buy a doll, you want to go in prepared, and Phil was a great help in this for me (as was doing some reading on the doll forum).

Phil is a doll owner himself, so he understands what it's like and has the experience to back up his knowledge. So don't be shy to ask any questions. You want to be a happy customer, and Phil wants you to be a happy customer.

I received one pair of socks with it while I ordered three pairs. I guess it's easy to overlook the item count when most entries on an order will be singular. When I notified them of this, they sent the remaining two pairs the same day.

More and more people are finding out about these dolls and enjoying the various benefits they offer. Just to hold one in your arms is a joy. And so is the maintenance they require every now and then, starting with a good wash down on day one.
