Poor service from Spinnys chester
We purchased our new van from Spinney Chester so when we had an accident with the van we took it to them to arrange a qoute for our insurance for spinney to carry out the repair. We did this 2 weeks ago. After repeated phone calls to check on our qoute we were told it was getting done. More days passed so my husband contacted them again to be told the person who deals with the qoute is on holiday !
This is not good enough.
We decided to try somewhere else to provide us sith a qoute to complete the repair and we are so happy that we did. We took the caravan to S T Repairs in Sandycroft, Deeside yesterday and recieved the qoute today. 5 * service in my book.
Spinneys Chester need to up their game because customers will not accept poor service and will go elsewhere.

Having looked into the matter, I can see that your vehicle was brought to us on 13 July for an estimate relating to the offside damage and window. Our Technician completed the assessment and prepared the estimate, which was then passed to our parts Team for pricing.
Unfortunately, the lady who deals with parts was on annual leave from 17 July to 24 July. Prior to going on leave, she had been working to ensure work was allocated and booked appropriately, and your quotation was scheduled to be completed on her return. Regrettably, we did not communicate this clearly to you, and I appreciate how frustrating it must have been to repeatedly chase for an update without receiving a definitive timescale.
I have since spoken with her and the wider team about your experience. Before the quotation was completed, I was advised that you had obtained an estimate elsewhere and no longer required ours.
Whilst I completely understand your decision to use another repairer, I am sorry that our communication fell below the standard you should expect from us. We are reviewing our internal processes to ensure customers are kept informed when key members of staff are absent so that situations like this can be avoided in the future.
Thank you again for your feedback. It is invaluable in helping us improve our service, and we wish you all the best with the repairs to your vehicle.
Humble apology
I had always found Spinney very helpful and wrote a bad review to get a response as I hadn't received the parts that I had ordered due to a backlog in the supply and distribution to Spinney, obviously once the review was published Spinney sprung into action and the parts were supplied a few days later.
I apologise to Spinney for any distress caused to the company and their staff unresrvedly.

Fault on bodywork.missing rack in…
Fault on bodywork.missing rack in cupboard under sink. Awning obviously xdemo but sold as new not right in my opinion and when sold we were told roof lining were included by Dorema but no roof linings pump missing! Would like to point out what excellent service and the level of help we have received from connor .Just a shame he has been let down by manufacturing standards!

Had a really good experience at…
Had a really good experience at Spinneys Motorhomes after buying a caravan. We initially dealt with Alan Blair who was fantastic and really helpful. We then dealt with Alan Rumney who did the handover and gave us a walk through of the caravan and how it all worked and no question was a bother. I would also like to thank Sally White for setting up the service plan and be really helpful with this.

Disappointing Service
We placed a deposit on a camper van approximately four weeks ago. At the time, we provided the salesperson with a list of issues that needed to be addressed before our scheduled collection on 15th July.
The day before we were due to collect we were informed one if the issues had not been dealt with and when we arrived to collect the vehicle, other issues had also not been resolved, which was extremely disappointing. We have been informed that they are hopefully being dealt with tomorrow.
Purchasing a camper van is a significant financial commitment and we feel it is only reasonable to expect that any agreed work is completed before collection. This experience left us feeling a little let down.
I also emailed the salesperson last week to express my disappointment, but I have yet to receive a response, which has only added to my frustration.

We completely understand that purchasing a camper van is a significant investment, and it is reasonable to expect that any agreed preparation work has been completed prior to collection. We appreciate how frustrating it must have been to discover that some items remained outstanding, particularly after raising them well in advance.
Our pre delivery inspection manager has kept in contact with you and as agreed, we collected your vehicle yesterday, so that the outstanding paintwork can be completed. Unfortunately, this work is carried out by a specialist third-party repairer rather than on-site, so we are reliant on their availability to complete the work to the required standard.
The only remaining item after the paintwork is the reversing camera, which our team is actively investigating. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and, once everything has been completed, we will arrange to deliver the vehicle back to you to avoid any further inconvenience.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we bring these final items to a satisfactory conclusion. We will continue to keep you updated on our progress and look forward to returning your camper van to you as soon as possible.
Spinney Warwickshire experience
I sought an exchange of vehicle from Motorhome to Caravan, and my contact has been with Brian Shanley, Sales Manager. Throughout our dealings, Brian has given me a great customer experience, whether it be by phone, in person or emails with quick knowledgeable responses each time. Other staff, Jane in Sales Admin and Shop staff Lorraine and Gary, and Support teams have all shown excellent customer focus and very helpful with advice throughout, and finally we received a very thorough handover from Alan Rumney to get us on the road with confidence. This has given me a great deal of confidence in Spinney’s as a business.

A Swift Experience
This is now our 5th caravan from Spinney Staffordshire (formerly North Staffordshire Caravans). It started with a Bailey Discovery purchased in 2004 for approx. £7,500, sold by Andrew. Over the years we upgraded to another Bailey, then to a Swift, and back again. Now, we've just gone back to a Swift Conqueror 650L.
We're very pleased with our new caravan and the exceptional customer service from Barry. Excellent communication throughout, a very thorough handover and demo. Overall, he knows his customers and the industry inside and out. He's a credit to Spinney, and we would highly recommend a visit if you're in the market for a motorhome, camper, or caravan!

Warwick Branch - avoid!
Warwick Branch.
The sales process was brilliant, Alan Blair looked after us well and has been a main point of contact. The handover was fairly good. Once we had the vehicle home and started sorting things the cleanliness of the vehicle was superficial.
Marks on the floor, cupboards and walls came off with little effort. Not a great way to start our MoHo journey.
The reason for 2 stars is purely down to the dire after sales experience that we have had. The 2 stars were earned by Alan.
We waited almost 6 weeks for 2 wheel centres, constantly chasing with very little in the way of updates back. I even proffered that 2 were available on eBay and we’d of had those next day!
There was a solar fault which appeared just to need a reset but was this checked after the leisure battery was replaced?
We collected the seat RAM on 10th June to fit ourselves , an easy task we were assured by Spinneys only to find that the bottom fixing and knuckle were also missing, strangely missing off the PDI? Probably. Here we are, one month later, no parts and still getting no response to requests for delivery updates/dates! It’s been 2 days since requesting an update from the branch manager and nothing back!
Should any of the senior managers be interested in resolving the issues please feel free to contact me, I can forward emails and phone logs to show how poor the responses have been.
All while this was going on we were sent reminders to review our experience . . . Well here it is!
It would seem that once the money arrived in your bank and the vehicle pulled out the yard you lost all interest in the customer.
At present, I would not recommend you to anyone, nor would I even admit to buying from you. Our custom for habitat services is in the balance, we are looking at other options.

Firstly, I am pleased to hear that Alan provided you with a positive sales experience and remained a helpful point of contact throughout your purchase. I will ensure your kind comments are passed on to him.
I am, however, genuinely sorry that your experience following collection has not met the standard you expected. I completely appreciate how disappointing it must have been to discover that the vehicle had not been prepared to the level you expected, and I understand how this affected your first impressions of your new motorhome.
During our conversation, we discussed the delay with the replacement wheel centres. Unfortunately, the correct wheel centres had to be supplied directly by the manufacturer, as the ones you had identified online were the incorrect size and would not have fitted your vehicle correctly. Whilst I appreciate this offered little comfort at the time, we wanted to ensure that the correct parts were supplied and fitted.
In relation to the outstanding seat RAM components, these remain on order with Elddis. We have been advised of a current lead time of approximately 6–8 weeks, which is, unfortunately, outside of our control. That said, I completely understand your frustration at the delay, particularly when you were expecting what should have been a straightforward installation.
The aspect of your feedback that concerns me most is the lack of communication and updates you received. Regardless of the manufacturer lead times, we should have kept you informed throughout the process rather than leaving you to chase for information. I have discussed this with the team to ensure we improve our communication with customers moving forward.

Went in on a whim to have a look a…
Went in on a whim to have a look a small 2 berth caravan Ryan gave me some keys for me to have a look inside each of them, no pressure was put on me while i looked around. After finding the one i wanted i spoke to Ryan again asking him multiple questions and nothing was a problem to him. On the day of picking caravan up everything was explained to me throughly will definitely recommend spinney caravans and Ryan the salesman 10/10
