Bad water leak
I suffered a sudden fairly bad leak from my kitchen pipes and was very anxious as I have health problems with limited mobility. Customer service told me someone would be sent out ASAP. One of their plumbers was in the area and did an initial inspection another plumber was sent out to complete the job. The plumber was very reassuring that it could be fixed that evening. He did a great job and I was extremely satisfied.

Brilliant lady engender
The lady engender was very well prepared with equipment I have never seen before. She did all the tests and answered my questions. Se checked the gas meter with a special equipment, and sprayed the connections after (to check for leaks I suppose), then attached something else to the gas boiler and also filled some water as the pressure was a bit low. She looked inside the boiler and takes some pictures.
I am giving 5 stars because of this professional lady engender even though I haven’t had that experience before with the previous engineers.

They came to check my gas supply.
They came to check my gas supply, Guy was ok, but didn't speak very good English, I have lived in my home for almost 31 years, and have never had a gas supply to my home, I am all electric, I tell Smith and Byford this every year, but they still insist on coming, probably because they are being paid to do so by Clarion Housing.

Great service I have had a gas inspection every year it’s a compulsory service from the housing association I’m under engineer was very nice and respectful as he took his shoes off before entering. Quick efficient service.

Had two visits, one on Thursday and one on Friday.
The Friday visit was excellent...the engineer was very helpful, professional, and friendly. He fixed a leak and also helped set up my programmable room thermostat. I was very happy with the service provided.

Central heating message display misbehaving!
MOST EXCELLENT service from Donna who understood my query without issue, booked the engineer's visit to erase the "service due" message on the central heating monitor (as boiler check was successfully done 3 months previously!) and escalated the visit by 3 days. Text message was sent, Donna also called back, the same day, to confirm escalation date & received postal letter. Engineer (professional, courteous and very friendly young man!) came on the day mentioned and changed the unit altogether as message couldn't be erased. Extremely pleased with service from S&B from start to finish. Would HIGHLY recommend.............5*****!!
