annual gas check, arriving within the
alloted time.

They removed part of the cupboard that houses the boiler in my kitchen, finished the job and left the property. A week later when cleaning the cupboard it almost fell off the wall as they had removed a strengthening piece of wood and had not replaced it, i am a 70year old disabled man, When i contacted Smith and Byford I was told it was my problem and NOT there’s. I gave them one star ⭐️ that’s to good for them. They are useless.

Would not want a thug like the driver on the M3 who drove at speeds in excess of 90 mph dangerously to be let loose in our home. We watched him intimidate a red Mercedes and it's a wonder there wasn't an accident. He travelled forcing his way from lane to lane from Junction 4 and then onwards M27 to South west where we lost him. Driving with one hand on the steering wheel with mobile in the other. We have sent dash cam to the authorities.

Came to do gas safety check today totally incompitent wont call him an engineer as he left me with no boiler had no equipment to check for gas leak just to picture but on his notes said everything done his name is charles when they give you 24hrs you are to just sit at home and wait but we have ti work to pay bills they will not just send a quick text or phone call to give you chance to be home absolutley aweful service from them today as i states the so called engineer to do my gas safety check did not go and test my gas meter for any leaks because he did not have equipment took a picture instead opened up my dump valve do not know if he knew he had done that even got my partner to sign and left partner went in kitchen no pressure in boiler and leaking water in back garden

Great, am appointment & arrived nice and early and finished by 9.30am really pleased and gent was very polite.

The engineer came in time and did a perfect job, very polite and friendly.

The gentleman who came to explain the new boiler and heating system in my sister's flat while she is in hospital was very helpful. He came again the next day as I had concerns about the white light coming on in the boiler after all the power had expired and was then restored. Once the power was back it was working. He also explained the temperature controls on the heating system and was very polite.

I would like to commend Engineer Tony for the excellent service he provides. He is always polite, respectful of my home, and conducts himself professionally at all times. I feel very safe and confident knowing that he has completed my boiler inspection and maintenance checks.
In the past, I have experienced issues with other engineers, including dirty cabinet surfaces, water leaks left in my cupboards after draining the system, and a lack of customer service skills. Tony is completely different. He works cleanly, takes great care in his work, and always treats my home with respect.
His friendly manner, attention to detail, and professionalism make a real difference, and I greatly appreciate the high standard of service he consistently provides.
This version would work well for a customer satisfaction survey, complaint resolution response, or formal compliment.

I was visited by steve who is a lovely friendly guy,he serviced my boiler and checked everything working ok.He arrived on time and booking the appointment was easy.

Well well! 3 times inside of a year my emersion has broken....we're on number 3 currently....
Reported on 5/7/26....still waiting for a call back and we a two vulnerable adults, one of which a cancer patient, i am currently on hold yet again having been put through to 4 different departments....I can't stress enough how rubbish this company are......As to your reply, no body has contacted me at no time, at all.....I have had to call repeatedly, I suggest you do your job properly this time 3rd time in a year! Stop using cheap nasty parts......

A very nice polite man did his job well ,turned up on time ,over all it was a pleasant experience.

The Engineer was on time and very cheerfull. He bas been to me before so we always have a chat and a laugh whilst he is working. He always tells me what he is doing to the Boiler at that time.

I called to report issue with our boiler advised that I had put on a 24hr call. This was at around 9am by 11ish Engineer was at my door. Sorted issue and called through to office to arrange survey for replacement boiler. Recieved call to inform someone would be out following day between 8 &1 to carryout survey. Thankyou so much.

Boiler sounded like a helicopter taking off. I switched it off and contacted Smith & Byford. I was called back within about 10-15 minutes and an appointment with an electrician was booked the same day. The electrician provided exceptional service, he was polite, warm and kept me updated with what the issue was and the solution. The part needed would have been a weeks wait, but he went above and beyond and sourced the part and came back 30 minutes later and fixed my noisy boiler. I am very appreciative of his can do attitude and willingness and eagerness to provide excellent customer service. I just wish all tradespeople were like him, truly one in a million would book him again in a heartbeat.

Only turned up to do a regular Gas Service but also repaired a leaking Expansion Tank on my central heating system at the same time. A fantastic Engineer. Nothing was a problem to him.

Exceptional service to a very high standard. Electricians were professional, friendly, very thorough and had a clean smart appearance. I can't fault their service and they even sorted out an old socket and replaced my smoke alarms. Top class service, in fact the best I've ever had!
