Wrong colour sofa delivered and scs Telford are saying that's the colour we ordered and won't do nothing about it. Contacted scs direct and they still won't help us. Delivery guys told us to.keep the sofa and this will.be sorted out but shock nobody wants to help... absolute joke of a company so we have ended up.with the wrong sofa which we are now having to pay for.. absolutely disgusted with how scs have treated us and will never buy from them again they just want your money and are not willing to help in any way at all avoid this company I hope this review helps others

This is just an automatic response/ reply it's exactly the same response as before joke off a company you won't/ couldn't help us before and told us to go into store which we did and they wouldn't help us either the manager obviously isn't going to hold his hands up and admit that he's made a mistake is he.... no.... he just passed the blame over to us joke off a company...

Ordered at the beginning of February for a delivery at the beginning of April, after months of delays sofa turned up today. They had failed to arrange collection of the loan furniture that they had given us so wouldn’t deliver our sofa!
Customer service centre is closed and the branch is closed for a refurbishment.
No communication from the company and no way to contact. Terrible service, would avoid.

Sofa was finally delivered on the 18th of July, happy with the sofa. Shame the communication and timescale were poor.

You did everything as promised

From sales to delivery the service was spot on to my expectations. Really good service, cannot be happier.

My family was helped by the wonderful and polite, Faheem Khan, he was so patient and understanding with us, nice to talk too, and had a really good knowledge on all they were selling. can't say enough good things about the customer service he gave!! and for scs the sofas look good and payment is straight forward. Good all around.

5 star service, Rahima could not of helped us more and still doing so. Very friendly, helpful and professional.

Paid well over the odds, because we stupidly bought on the rare occasion that SCS didn't have the sale prices on, but the product is good and the delivery crew were friendly and professional.

Writing this review because of the exceptional customer service we have just experienced. Rahima was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. She was not pushy and went above and beyond to explain the options available to us for the suite that we had chosen. If only all shops could have staff this pleasant.

We have just bought 2 sofas from SCS in Telford. We would just like to say how wonderful Rahima was with us. Consumet professional, not pushy, very knowledgeable, kind and considerate. She went though all the different sofas with us, explained how they worked from recliners to materials and what different upholstery we could have. Every question we asked she answered confidently and professionally.

We walked in Resham came to us and asked what we were looking for. He told where to look . No pressure which I hate. We sat on different sofas until we found the right one again no pressure. We were offered a hot drink which was nice . Resham was very polite and friendly proper down to earth guy which you dont find alot these days. We decided what we wanted to order. Everything was explained clearly to us so we knew exactly what we were paying etc. We would recommend SCS to our friends and family . Had furniture from here before and this is why we returned to get the same quality and service. Even came out with a free lamp !! Thankyou

Sofa was a few days late in being delivered but text message told us when to expect it. It came as several component parts so if necessary it could fit through a normal house doorway. The delivery crew were very helpful and assembled it quickly exactly where I asked them to put it and took away all the packing material.

Resham was our sales advisor who from the onset of our visit was extremely helpful. We were able to see the settee we were interested. We chose the colour we liked . He was cheerful and even made us a cup of tea!!

We bought a recliner sofa, after the salesman assured us that the foam used in the cushions wouldn’t collapse. It cost £1600 for a 2 seater and the cushions, including the lumbar support, have collapsed. It’s not even a year old! I have sent 3 emails and have tried to phone twice. On hold for over an hour first time and over 2 hours the second time, with zero response to the emails. Appalling customer service, I will never buy anything from SCS again.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and had remembered us. He also gave us a great price and took time to get the right sofa with the right covering. He also arranged for delivery to our new address in August.

A few minutes after entering the store we was approached by Resham a Indian gentleman we had a pleasant conversation and we explained we had just got a quote from next door for £2200 plus we had to wait 14 weeks. He bet that price and made us very Happy. I'm disabled and he made me very comfortable, it was nice to talk about his culture too a Scottish proud seik and a gentleman.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.
Our sofa was delivered last November 2024- and 5 months down the line, we still NOT have the correct set of legs.

We got the sofa in November 2024, and it arrived without any legs—which is completely unacceptable. The delivery guys casually promised that the legs would be sent the following week. That never happened. So we went to the store ourselves to follow up. They acknowledged the issue and assured us that they would order the legs, and we should receive them in 2–3 weeks. Again—nothing.

From that point on, we were going to the store at least 2X every single MONTH just trying to get a straight answer. Each time, it was the same useless response: we need to order it, the warehouse needs to process it, etc- basically no update. It wasn’t until January that we finally received a set of legs—but to our complete frustration, they were the WRONG COLOUR!!!! Not even close to what we ordered or what would match the rest of our furniture.

We went back to the store again, explained the issue for the MILLIONTH time and they acknowledged that the warehouse sent the wrong colour of legs. Their solution? They casually said: “Just put them on for now so at least you have some kind of legs.” Really? After months of waiting, they expected us to settle for the wrong product? They once again promised to reorder the correct legs and said we should have them in another 2–3 weeks.

Well, it’s now been 4 months since that last promise, and guess what? Still NO correct legs, NO update, NO apology, NO compensation, and frankly NO sign that they care at all. The customer service is non-existent, and the people at the store have been completely useless from start to finish. It blows my mind how a company can mess up something so basic—not once, but multiple times—and take nearly half a year without ever resolving it. How hard is it to send the right legs, in the right color, for a sofa?

This entire experience has been a joke, and we are beyond disappointed. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the stress and shop literally anywhere else.

We were greeted by Faheem who looked after us very well during our visit giving us support and advice. We ordered our new Sofa just awaiting delivery.

Went to the SCS Telford Store with my family, was approached by a young man called Raheem, I’ve got to say he was absolutely amazing, not pushy, very attentive/kind, gave us time to think, had very good product knowledge, and made us feel comfortable throughout the experience. Would highly Recommend Raheem at SCS Telford! Very good service and experience.

I visited the Telford store and Rahima and Ray were fantastic. They couldn't do enough to help us and made sure we had all the help we needed.

The second I walked into the scs store in Telford I was aggressively approached by the young sales boy. Upon his initial approach he was very aggressive telling me that I need to buy today, he then went away and came back seconds later again in a very aggressive manor. He made me sit on multiple armchairs that he wanted me to buy, none of which were any good for me rather than asking me what it was that I needed. This is not acceptable he clearly just wanted me to buy something for his own benefit and commission. This is not on, please consider who you have working in your stores this sales boy needs to learn how to treat people with respect. I will not be returning to scs Telford
