Sharon Roscoe at Poltronsofa Stockport met us at the door and introduced herself. She asked if we needed any assistance and left us to have a look around.

She was professional, friendly and allowed us to consider our choice in our own time. The information and options she gave us were clear. We ended up returning the next day to buy the sofa we wanted. Her customer service was impeccable and we can't really give any points for improvement. We absolutely love the sofa but it was the customer service which played a big part in us buying from this branch.

The whole store has a good atmosphere and all the other staff were just as nice and friendly. I've been in a few times after our purchase just to sit on the display model and they're still as accommodating.

My sister ordered two reclining chairs got confirmation of order on 31.12.25
Delivered 19.01.26 delivery went brilliant they took all the packaging away on 25.01 26 not even a week one chair wouldn't rise tried phoning the number just rang and rang so ended up emailing first email said this is on longer the email for customer service so found a chief executive emailed that put all the details in in the meantime went back to shop in stockport twice to be told you have to ring the number nobody answers.Got back home rang again took several attempts finally got hold of a human person who new about my email with the description of what was wrong including photos and video of chair making noise but no email was sent back to me said he would get intouch with there maintained company and we can expect that someone will get intouch
Maintained company emailed me and said NO ONE IS COMING OUT but they have a good idea what part has broken but it will take 12 Weeks to arrive at My sisters home address so somtime in April 2026 than if will be another month or two before they fit the part if indeed it's the right part as No one came out to access this for them self it's only our word and description What company dose this my sister has stage 3 MS and other medical problems paid over £1500.00 plus after care package for a chair to break in not even 1 week of use
Do not buy anything from this company if I could have got the chair in my car I'd have taken it back not fit for purpose that's why I have it one star

We were very happy with every aspect of our purchase & you kept us updated every step of the way. Even when our sofa arrived at the distribution centre earlier than planned you were happy to hold it for us until we managed to sell our old one. The two lads that delivered it were brilliant, they arrived bang on time & put the sofa together & even took away the packaging. Thanks to everyone from Chris the sales lady at the SCS shop in Stockport, who was very professional in helping us with the original purchase to the two lads who arrived in the delivery van. Our sofa from SCS was delivered last March so just 10 months old. I logged a fault as the sofa has sagged to such a point that sitting on it is not comfortable or pleasant it is like something you have had for 20years, clearly poor quality and considering it is from the Italian range this is awful. Logged a fault a week ago to then receive an email saying after a thorough investigation (really a one liner and a photo which shows nothing !) we have not followed the care guide ! Ok in what way I have no idea as you cannot plump the cushions daily as they are not detachable. I rang them up and was informed I had not been banging the front of the cushion each night and we were sitting in the wrong place on the cushion ! It is a 3 seater sofa with 2 cushions so you have to sit in the centre of the cushion. Basically they do not want to know, take your money and any excuse not to even look at poor quality products. Then asked if I think there is a problem with the springs ! Is that not their job to investigate am no sofa expert. Got nowhere told to log another record, avoid at all costs never again SCS you should be ashamed !

Great experience from start to finish! Went in one day to look at sofas to buy, and we weren't helped and very much looked after by Wayne at the Peel centre store in Stockport, who provided great service on both visits! He sold it for us! The sofas arrived ahead of time and were delivered and assembled by Daniel and Glynn, who were very friendly and efficient, arrived in good time, let us know exactly when they'd be here, tidied up afterwards- great service. Couldn't have had a better experience and when we need new sofas, we will come back to SCS!

Daniel & Mark were the 2 delivery guys. Great comms before delivery, arrived on time as notified. The sofa bed was assembled in our chosen room quickly and efficiently. Excellent and polite service by both guys.. A credit to the company.

A friendly and informative sales assistant made my choices easy and patient to take time to choose was needed. Jazz gave me all that. Trusted to make an informed decision on the suite purchased.

Very good salesman, very helpful and did not push us to buy on same day as we went to look for new furniture. Explained how long it would take to be delivered. Delivery people we excellent in every way and contacted me when 20 minutes away. Could not fault anyone from start to finish.

Ordered my sofa chair on 13 October at Peel Centre,Stockport. Friendly helpful sales person told me it would take 6 weeks to deliver, which turned out to be accurate. Was kept Informed of expected delivery date by phone and by email on the day of delivery. The two friendly lads arrived on time, brought it in easily, unwrapped it and assembled it quickly. They took away all packaging leaving no mess.
I am very happy with my purchase.
