Ordered my sofa and footstool in December 2025. Was told delivery would be March 2026. Sofa was actually delivered early, in February 2026 but the footstool they sent was incorrect. Cue three months of back and forth between myself, the store, and the warehouse while they tried and repeatedly failed to give me a delivery date for the correct footstool. When I got tired of the whole mess I asked to cancel the footstool only to be told I was unable to as the collection of the incorrect footstool triggered the replacement as a new order. Finally received the correct footstool in May 2026. The process is deeply flawed and their communication is atrocious - I was told one thing by the delivery team, something else by the people I spoke to over the phone and then something completely different by the staff in store. The only reason I have given two stars is because the two team members I had interaction with in the store were very apologetic and tried to be as helpful as possible, and the quality of the sofa is very good. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will go back to using DFS when I order any sofas in future. I used DFS for decades and never had a single issue with them.

I disliked the delivery/setting up of the sofa. The crew were rushing and not attentive.
The shop staff were very good. They listened and were very helpful.

The 2 men that delivered my sofa where very professional and put sofa exactly where I wanted it and took all the packaging away

I was given a date for delivery of 3 piece suite and was duly contacted with a rough time slot the day before. On the morning of delivery I was contacted by the delivery crew giving me an accurate eta and a link to track them. They arrived when they said they would and the suite was offloaded, unpacked and assembled in situ. The whole experience was highly commendable and my thanks go to the two man crew for their excellent customer service throughout. A very professional and efficient delivery.

We received our furniture in good condition. It was delivered in good time. The delivery men were very helpful. and very courteous. And they but it all together and even helped with some bits that needed moving to get the settee down the stairs.cannot fault the delivery man at.they were first class. Many thanks to all those involved.

Delivery absolutly fine no problem.
The problem we have is the furniture is not as demonstrated no lumber support which is why we purchased this model.
Waiting too see if DFS will resolve this problem or will be going to trading standards.

Kept fully updated on delivery messages & phone calls as promised.

We were approached immediately we entered the store by Scott. We told him what we were looking for and in under ten minutes he had sold us exactly what we wanted! He was so helpful!

Also the main staff in scs store is lovely showing me sofas as it was my 1st time shopping for a brand new sofa for my place staff I would definitely highly recommend to my friends and family Delivery service was amazing even though it was a tuff one for them to get around turn and bends but they managed the only thing I'm disappointed in is the timing I had a text message saying it would arrive one time and the tracker said a different time there is no communication at all as I was in all day waiting the text said it would arrive at 15:05 till 15:30 and didn't arrive till 6-7 o'clock in the evening

Staff were very friendly and very helpful and helped us find the right sofa.

Everything went great. Right on the time they said they would arrive. Put together settee very quickly and easily. They were polite, and easy to talk to.

I was worried about the settees colour or texture being different to what it was in the showroom but no, colour fit right in the rest of my furniture and the texture was smooth and silky.

Although it took along time for the chairs to arrive, they are well worth waiting for.
The men that delivered them were very professional and polite.

We ordered our recliner on the 25th Jan 2026, paid first payment when ordered, had a text 28th of May to pay in full which we did 24hrs later i got a text to say they can no longer deliver on the 5th June with no other date offered.
4 months and two weeks later still no sofa.

I visited the store at Hedge End Southampton last weekend with my boyfriend and was really impressed with the range of sofas and fabrics available. We looked at all the other large sofa retailers afterwards and ended up right back at Poltrone! I'd like to shout out Karen, who was super helpful and never pushy, and guided me through my decision-making process and then sorting the finance agreement etc. with some good laughs (while remaining professional). The free water was a godsend in the heat as well.

I was kept informed by the diver of time that my furniture was going to be.
All staff from showroom to delivery drivers could not have been more helpful.
