This website uses UCEPROTECTL3 database for scoring which is known to be extorting whitelisting services from websites that accidentally came to their blocklist because of big ASN providers like Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, Wordpress etc. It assigns a "likely scam" rating if you happen to use any of the above services and there is no way to contest that except...yep, you are right, sending money to scam-detector.com or sending them your personal information (really, sending private info to some anonymous website to prove that you are not a scam? what could go wrong).

After seeing a false positive on scam-advisor for our site, we reached out and had it corrected. Appreciate their quick work and kind response.

I am a subscriber to their newsletter. They talk about working with legitimate bitcoin recovery companies. Since I lost a lot and even more to fake recovery scams I figured finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I filled out their form and waited to be contacted.
When I was contacted I gave them the necessary info and they went to work connecting me with PrimeShieldGroup. After a lot of discussion and what seemed like proper company verification emails I started to pay the fees required and the capital gains tax required because in the UK once the BTC exchanges into fiat the tax is due. I was in for 17k CAD then they disappeared.
I attempted to contact scam detector FOUR times now to see what company they connected me with. No response. They have two different contact emails and I send two to each over the course of a month. I have no answers and beside my initial loss I’m now out more because they connected me with a scam company. It seams scam detector has set up the perfect scam for themselves.

They use boiler plate templates language to misrepresent the nature of websites, using harmful language ("The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.") when it is patently false. Further more they offer ZERO proof of their claims and misguide people into believe the site is riddled with issues.

Their business model is extortion. They give your website a poor rating, you start receiving warnings from your customers, and Scam Detector invites you to pay to get a good rating. It's a total abuse.

Completely incorrect reviews published. Damaging reputation. "Fake" information. Should be banned. Do not reply to emails. Based in Puerto Rico (for a reason, I suspect)

I had my site listed as a potential scam, but after reaching out to Scam Detector staff and explaining what the site is all about, I had my site re-evaluated in just a few hours. They were also very friendly.

How ironical scam-detector is nothing but scam. They rank my website 16.7/100 because "The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain". The change of domain was long overdue because of the success of the business. At the same time, they rank our main competitors 80.8/100 with the reason "Could not retrieve website content". Their "Explaining Our Analytical Approach" section is generic and useless.

They place misinformation on the web and personal data. They say my site is fraud and that is defamation. I checked other scam detection sites and they have high confidence that I am legitimate. They need to be reported to BBB as they request multiple things as proof they are more than likely a scam themselves. They are not even listed on BBB and make these judgments about people. Ok folks based on running them through other scam checkers websites their site redirects to btloader.com. Bt loader is from google Btloader (or Batloader) is a type of malicious software (malware) used by cybercriminals to download and install further malware, such as ransomware or remote management tools, onto a victim's computer. It often targets enterprise environments, stops security software, and escalates privileges to gain control. I have reported them to google and the federal trade commission. Trust pilot should consider banning this site

My shop k9shop.no had a low score and I knew this was not right so I contacted them. In less than a day and after looking at my documentation they corrected it and now I get the score I deserve.
The best thing was the email I received the next day thanking me for the contribution from Selma - an exclusively positive experience.

Advertising a poor rating for a 23 year old establishment with zero (0) complaints is just plain wrong. Scam-Detector should get its act together or be shut down.

This site is a reputation destruction site.

I reviewed my business site and it returned a very low score. This despite the fact that the site does not ask for anyone to enter any information OR ask for any money.

It is purely a presentation of information, information which does provide details the report says it doesn't.

Including director/owner contact details company registration details (including a link to see details of the company available on the Companies House website (official UK Government site)), and the VAT registration number.

The report clearly shows that whoever "trained" the sites Artificially Stupid agent knew nothing about UK businesses (or perhaps any business).

This application shows the major flaws in the so called miracle of AI.
