I would like to commend Daniel for the excel service he provided while assisting with my insurance claim.
He was prompt in contacting me initially to discuss the claim and clearly explained the information required.
Once I supplied the necessary details, Daniel followed up quickly and efficiently managed the process through to completion.
Thanks to his professionalism, responsiveness, and proactive communication my insurance claim was finalised within 3 days.
His support made the entire experience smooth and straightforward, and I greatly appreciate his assistance

This really was an outstandingly helpful team Technical expert, Dan White, who Direct Line asked to get in touch with me following an accident to the laptop I use daily, with water alas, two days before.
Dan was immediately able to work out from the small serial number located on the rear of the Applemac Air, exactly what the model was, after patiently waiting for me to locate and read the tiny letters.
I was unable to get the laptop to work despite my best efforts dabbing it with kleenex tissue and putting it upside down in the airing cupboard.
Dan had led me through the process of sorting this for me emotional upset caused by my mistake.
He promptly arranged for DPD to text and collect the laptop and cable to see if it could be sorted out by the engineers.
However DPD gave an hour slot, and both I and the caretaker waited and listened in vain, then about 15 minutes later the company texted they were sorry they missed me and would try and arrange collection tomorrow.
I emailed Dan to let him know what had happened that the laptop was not on its way.
Dan then arranged for me to have an eCard to purchase an equivalent laptop online.
Not just that, but I asked Dan about my choices to replace the laptop and he gave me balanced and fair advice, better than anyone I know, so that I feel confident now that I can replace the broken laptop sensibly and the main thing, be up and running very quickly.
I just wanted to say that Dan to me stuck to the technical aspects and processing of the claim aspects, which very quickly has got me almost on the road again, I say almost as I could order online tonight, but am going to look at the options and then purchase and start again with the new computer tomorrow, entirely thanks to his efficiency, courtesy and patience in dealing with this aspect.
It is the first claim I have made on this policy I have had for years, and thanks to Dan and his training, and to Direct Line, it has turned a disaster into a process that is helpful and actually will probably enhance my ability to type, browse and carry out tasks going forward.

The lady who dealt with my claim is called Fatima. She was excellent, attentive always following up calls and understanding my situation having lost an item of jewellery which has greatly sentimental value.

All too often when dealing with insurance claims or companies. Customers are left with a poor experience. This was the total opposite and Melanie represented SBS in the best possible manner.

Took some while to get through but when I did a gentlemen named George took me through the process step by step,he was very helpful and understanding and had me sorted in no time at all, highly recommended

I had lost my wedding band and been referred to SBS by my insurer. Fatima at SBS was extremely helpful in sourcing a replacement quickly, during a very stressful time. Couldn’t be happier with the service and great communication throughout.

Claim started and completed in under 2hrs. What’s not to like about that. If I’d put the right details in, in the first places then it’s would have been quicker.

I had accidentally dropped my tv and damaged the screen. Having never claimed on my insurance I wasn’t sure if it would be a difficult process. I really needn’t have worried. The main insurer Direct Line put me in touch with SBS to handle the claim and they were very sensible and quick to produce a satisfactory solution. I was offered a like for like replacement and the matter was resolved professionally and with little fuss by Amy and Shelly. Customer service at this level is quite rare these days so compliments to both for excellent service delivered in a friendly way!
