Salamander pump to my shower failed to operate. Found failed part and was unable to find anywhere selling a suitable replacement part. Contacted Salamander customer services by email advising what had failed and inquiring if spares were available. Very quick response from Lee in their service department who quickly identified required parts and advised that he had sourced replacements and could send them out the next day totally free of charge. Parts arrived next day to my delight and fitted perfectly. Could not ask for a better customer service response from Lee and the effort he went to to make sure the parts would correct the issue I was having. Would highly recommend Salamander as not only has the pump never missed a beat in six years use, the level of customer support on failure was swift and second to none and it is obvious looking at the new parts that a small redesign has been carried out since the pump was first manufactured which will eliminate that part failing in future.

The pump became faulty after 2 years it was still under warranty but Salamander are refusing to honour the warranty .They have suggested the flow rates in my system are too low .So I connected an identical Salamander pump CT50XTRA to my system and the shower pressure was fine proving that the pump has become defective .Very poor customer service and still won’t honour the warranty .Its clearly not worth the paper it’s written .Avoid this company like the plague very poor quality pumps and even worse customer service .Im truly surprised they are still in business.

I had an issue with my pump no longer actuating, but Lee Ramsay help get the issue resolved quickly and efficiently.

We are plumbers, and mainly install bathroom and shower rooms.

There customer service is pointless, as is there warranty, lots of messing about.

We will never use this salamander pump's again, your better off going with Aqualisa they have an excellent customer service, they come and fix the pump with no call out fee no photos and no taking for ever to return emails .

A warranty is only as good as the company. And this lot a crap.

Regarding your response, I've wasted too much time as it is , calling , emailing, sending photos , doing flow test. THE PUMP failed due to a internal seal allowing water into the bearing.

As I suffer majorly with anxiety, Caroline made my whole experience easy as pie. She was knowledgeable and brilliant. From me ringing to resolution in about 4 hrs.
Other companies should take a look at how customer service should be. What I thought was going to be a major headache has turned into a little bump. I was happy with my Salamander product before, now I'm ecstatic with the product. Highly recommend.

We recently had a Salamander accumulator pump fitted to our system. The pump and tank work well, and it's a quiet system, but not silent. There was a couple of issues at first and the tech support helped the plumber sort them out. We just had a second error code come up and I spoke with Harry in the tech support team and he was really great, talked me through every step to fix the issue and was professional, friendly and clear.

We are a company and purchased 2 water storage with a pump. After a couple of months 1 failed. We called support and its very long winded and they do not want to send anyone out as they do not have their own engineers and sub contracts it out to polytec. They make you pay for the callout £150 and say they will return it but they dont. Our engineer met polytec and he said he didn't have a pump and would need to order. Few weeks later they called us to say pump is in and can they fit. Pump got fitted and later failed 2 times after. Had go go to site and reprogram settings as the engineer did program correctly. When we asked for money back we was told the engineer had the pump on the first visits and couldn't fit as washing machine in the way even though 2 engineers met him to assist him. This seems like a dodgy firm and whys lying? We are taking to trading standards as its fraud taking people's money like this. Carol who works for salamander id awful and is aggressive.

We had a problem with incorrect pump fitted by our bathroom installer. Spoke with Angela to say she was brilliant is under stated. Talked me through our issues and was so patient with me.
Provided details of correct pump required as well how to eliminate the issues (not caused by the pump).
Gave me every thing I needed to know on installion etc.
She was so knowledgable , friendly and helpful.

I had a faulty pump initially which wasn’t quite doing its job. When we contacted Salamander to raise the issue they were quick to understand the issue and instantly offered a quick and simple solution.

The new pump has been fitted and is excellent. The after service to check I was happy and that everything was good was a really nice touch and for that I applaud their customer service attitude.

Would definitely buy from them again.

Had a problem with my old pump. Fantastic advice from Salamander. Just wished I'd spoken to them in the first place for advice on what I needed. What's more everyone there I spoke seemed really up technically on their products.

It was a pleasure to be dealt with by Susan from start to finish she was brilliant she explained everything I should know and do regarding my new pump keep up the good work you are a credit to salamander.

My existing Salamander shower pump failed after a year. I contacted Salamander's technical / warranty support team who were helpful, friendly, professional and polite. I'm not a plumber, but they took me through a step by step test of the system, including sending images via WhatsApp to find out what the problem was. They were patient and helpful and agreed to send out a replacement pump, even though the pump failure was down to the install, not the pump itself.

I couldn't be happier with the service received and would happily recommend Salamander for their support and overall dedication to customer service.

The best service I have received in a long time. Lady in the technical department explained everything clearly, used WhatsApp alongside with the phone call for me to send pictures and deal with my enquiry. Very friendly personal service, much appreciated as I was trying to do this whilst sneaking around quietly outside my toddlers rooms at naptime!

Great experience using Salamander pumps, Found out the wrong pump had been fitted in my house for years now have the right one and good will gesture given a part refund for the wrong one that I bought. Brilliant information
