I initially rang the company to explain my scenario, which was lower power to an electric shower from mains. Alan rang me back, asked me about my system and suggested the SP1S system, which is a two pump booster and assured me it would solve the problem. My plumber arrived on Saturday morning and we had a few queries on wiring diagram, I text Alan back on the number he rang me on and he called back and ran us through everything...... above and beyond customer service. Thanks Alan, all works a treat, heat not going up and down and more and the "LP" for low pressure is no longer flashing.

The pumps work extremely well but to be honest a bit noisy. The pumps were easy to fit which was great. Your service was excellent and very prompt but have to recommend your company and goods. Thank you very much for your prompt attention.

Sorry for my delay but I was away and didn’t get a chance to do the review before due to lack of internet connection.

I’ve bought at least 4 complete shower boosters plus motors and 5 replacement motors. All previously fitted and working. When the motor failed again, I bought a replacement. My plumber spent 2 hours trying to get it to stop leaking but the unit was faulty. When I reported it to the Alan Wright, my plumber was berated. A refund for the faulty unit and a token payment towards my wasted plumber visited was met with contempt. So,
I’m going to take photos of all the units and motors I’ve purchased, including the new faulty one, and advertise them for sale on various sites online. God knows how much I’ve spent on these units since 2014. I’d invested in these things and kept on with the upkeep by continuing to replace the motors. Loyalty definitely does not pay. He treats his customers like crap when things go wrong. I’ve paid out £940 to get a ‘proper’ power booster and it’s less than what I’ve paid to Alan Wright and plumbers over 12-13 years, but still a massive outlay for a disabled pensioner.
Also I shall contact trading standards about selling me a unit that was not fit for purpose and refusing to refund me.
My traditional pump is excellent and we now have a lovely shower.
ADVICE-BUY A PROPER PUMP THAT’S UNDER WARRANTY.

This is the 4th or 5th replacement we’ve had for our two showers and are really happy with their performance (we get about 7-10 years on average per pump but 12 years on one pump). Would highly recommend.

Although there is one downside which isn’t any thing to do with the shower power booster - I recently changed a power booster (due to random but sustained loss of pressure and assumed the power booster was coming to its 8 year end) but I shouldn’t have done as it was the Mira shower unit itself so had to replace a few bits on the Mira - needless to say I didn’t need to replace the Power shower booster (so atleast we have a spare to put back in for a couple of years maybe, when this new one goes in a decade or so).

The bungalow has a gravity fed water system with the hot water tank being on the same level as the shower. Consequently the water pressure isn’t good. I emailed Alan for advice to improve the flow and he confirmed the SP2B shower booster would be suitable.
I would recommend this booster as the flow as the hot water pressure has improved about 40%.

The pump arrived on time, it was easy to fit in our holiday cottage where previously most guests complained of poor water pressure and it took a long time for the hot water to come through to the shower. Now 6 weeks on no more complaints

Easy to fit and does a great job of boosting the flow.

My second pump which lasted approx 8 years. Not bad for a very hard water area I live! Great pump and updated so hopefully it lasts the same or longer?

I have just moved into a house which had a shower power booster installed several years ago and there was an issue with intermittency. When I phoned them they were really supportive and helpful. (It turned out to be an extension lead that had been been fitted by the previous owners and not the shower booster.)

I purchased this item for my low flow hot water feed to my shower. Installed by my builder fairly easily. Instant improvement to flow rate of hot water. Before handheld shower was useless and after it works perfectly.
Low level noise from pump during operation only. Just runs in the background.

This product is fantastic. Easy to fit and a lot quieter than my shower pump. Boosted the pressure in my shower a fair bit.

Its a great invention that genuinely solves a problem and it has worked for us. After having a loft conversion their was not enough flow to the new shower when the downstairs unit was on. This has now been remedied and I was very happy with the team their who helped me take the readings and advised on what I needed. The plumber wasn't aware of this solution, neither was the builder who specialises in lofts. Great to see a innovative British product on the market and a team that has a proper customer service attitude. I am very pleased and if you have a combination boiler with the same challenge this will help as well the other scenarios it resolves. My only hope is that they are reliable. Great product so far.
