Great experience from start to finish following storm damage to my roof. Very responsive when we were getting quotes and dealing with the insurers requests. Got us booked in quickly, arrived on time and carried out the repairs and then did a really thorough tidy up.

Roofing Solutions recently fitted lead flashing on the roof of my single storey extension. It was dealt with very professionally from the time Miles came to give me a quote until the job was completed. The guys arrived on time, were polite, friendly and did a grand job. From the point when Miles came to quote for the job to the end of the job when they finally left, I have nothing but praise for both Miles and his men. This was, at first glance, a relatively simple job of replacing the roof on a kitchen extension. However, it proved to be anything but simple and could have easily stumped other companies. Paul and his colleague did an amazing job, always cheerful and polite and happy to explain the intricacies of roof design. All the problems resulted in the job taking double the time Miles had estimated but the result was superb. If you’re looking for a company to sort your roof out, I can honestly say look no further than “Roofing Solutions”.

Initial survey by Miles explained problem and a solution. Needed two days to strip back 3feet either side of a steep valley.
Stewart and his colleagues arrived promptly 1000 on Wednesday, put scaffolding up and commenced work. Carried on till at 4.30 too dark to do any more. Group was cheerful and worked well together. Came on Thursday 0800 and worked till 4.30. Cheerful and professional. Inspected work which was the best that the valley had ever been since erection in 1964. Stewart and his colleagues came this morning 0730 and removed the scaffolding the scaffolding. Even repaired the internal plaster holes that inevitably appeared as batons were replaced. Miles came this am to sign off the work. We are extremely pleased with the work and can thoroughly recommend Miles and the Company.

My experience of Miles and his team is entirely consistent with the other glowing reviews on this site. I would not have a moments hesitation in recommending them. I have an unusual roof with particularly fragile tiles. The ridge tiles in particular had suffered weather damage to the point more extensive damage to the roof was an imminent risk. The fragility of the tiles and the associated risk of damage to the property meant this was a job other contractors had declined to quote for. Miles, in contrast, freely offered advice, options and generated a reasonable quote that he discounted due to my wife working for the NHS. The unusual roof and tiles lived up to expectation and caused the job to run several days longer than planned. Nevertheless Miles stood by his original quote throughout. His team were a pleasure to have on-site. Always courteous, informative and extremely diligent. Trust is vital when employing someone who is taking on structural repairs to your home. More so when these repairs are going to cost several thousand pounds. Its therefore difficult to place that trust in a company when you've not experienced them yourselves. But I can assure you that Miles and his company are more than worthy of that trust. Should I get any issue with a roof in the future, either mine or my family, Miles will be the first on my list to ring. A genuinely impressive experience.

Due to condensation in my loft the underlay was completely shot and as many of my roof tiles were damaged I decided on a complete re roof with additional ventilation.
Miles talked me through the entire process, visited and checked on work as it progressed.
He clearly understands his profession and was able to put my mind at rest over a number of concerns.
His team of roofers did a great job. Always turned up well before their start time, were polite and courteous and happy to discuss what they were doing.
Throughout each of the 5 days they cleared up, swept up and generally kept the area around my house tidy.

Excellent service from Miles and his team. We initially booked the job to redo the gables, fascias and guttering but once on site it became apparent that far more repairs were needed. The 4 day job with 3 people became a 10 day job with 5 people. Miles rearranged other jobs and obtained the materials needed to allow the work to be completed without any delays. All members of the team were polite and very professional. Can highly recommend.

On initial inspection, company director Miles freely gave and offered future advice regardless of whether I used the company's services. There was absolutely no pressure to commit at all. He was clear and concise.
I had a leaking roof and as there was a 2mnth waiting time before the work could start, I was offered free emergency repairs in the interim. These were carried out quickly and effectively as bad weather was forecast.
When the actual proper job commenced, more extensive damage was uncovered requiring a complete reroof. (The initial problems identified were consistent with other quotes by other companies.) I was shown video footage of the hidden 'carnage' beneath my roof tiles and the findings were clearly explained to me. Logistically, this was a problem in terms of both timescale (another 5mnths waiting time for a job of that magnitude, which clearly couldn't wait that long) and financially. Miles did a fantastic and difficult job fitting me in extremely promptly and came up with solutions to make it more affordable, without compromising on quality.
The team were exceptional; hard working, courteous, friendly but inobtrusive, punctual, tidy, respectful to neighbours and highly skilled craftsmen.
Also, despite me being a last minute squeeze in, Miles frequently popped on site and continually kept me informed. The company were an absolute dream from start to finish. I knew I was in good, safe hands, which was particularly important for me as I am unwell. The job was finished to my absolute satisfaction and I have a 15 year guarantee. I cannot thank Miles and his crew highly enough and will most certainly be recommending them to friends, neighbours.

Miles was an absolute dream from my initial panicked phone call and coming out to assess, right through to payment after a swiftly completed job.

There was no pressure in wanting us to commit, he was reassuring and completely honest with all the options available to us. His recommendation for what needed doing was actually less than I anticipated, which is always a nice bonus.

Even at this extremely busy time, Miles always responded promptly to my texts and calls and he even managed to squeeze us in to get his fitters round at the earliest convenience.
