Good, excellent service kept their word

Pretty sure it's all a scam. Or at least some of the companies they work with. I've been told our parts are on backorder with no ETA. However I've found the parts readily available online for next day delivery. The engineer spent all of 5 minutes in our house. Their website implies that they would be able to carry out repairs on the same day. If you read the fine print they say they reserve the right not to carry out the repair if they cannot source parts in 6 weeks. Call me cynical but seems like a very good money making scheme to do 5 minutes appts and then never repair things...

Had a fault with my extractor hood. I made payment for a repair visit on 16/12 to attend 18/12. It's now the 27th and still no visit. They keep making excuses and saying they will get back within 24hrs. Do not waste your time and money with these cowboys. Find a local repair guy.

Ian the engineer was brilliant, phoning twice before his visit to check the fault and to confirm the parts had arrived.

I had a great experience with this oven repair service. I was booked in with a clear date and time slot, and the engineer called on the day to confirm his arrival time. He had one part with him and ordered the other, returning the following week to complete the job. Quick, efficient, and very professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Booked in through Repair Care 3rd December. Waited in all day engineer never arrived. No courtesy call or text. Called repair care was told engineer would now be round 10th (Was told the engineers van had broken down). Waited in all day on 10th called service and sales, the guy on the phone was rude and uninterested. Told me their managers dealing with it. Yet again no one turned up. I have been told parts have been ordered by repair care (the cooker hasn’t been diagnosed). Two weeks later I’ve still not heard from either company and my house gas is still isolated. Avoid them.

Told an engineer would be here on a certain day never came only to be told it wasn't booked although I have email confirmation, not helpful on the phone now have to wait until next week and not even guaranteed to be fixed before Christmas day, so possibly no oven, very poor service would not use again

We were well pleased with the service we received. We had immediate response after we booked the repair.
The process was clearly explained. I received a message the night before the scheduled appointment with a list of post codes due to be visited.
The engineer arrived spot on time and solved the problem within a half an hour. He replaced the element and saved us needing to purchase a new element. Thank you!

Was told needed parts to get fixed enginer told me parts will be sorted out then cos I had to rebook next visit after concentrating lots of time was then told it can't be fixed so someone it not telling touth will not be using this company again can't be trusted to tell you the truth I have checked online and parts are available and not over £250 so this company just lie all the time

I got a fixed price for the repair of my Rangemaster oven, and clear communication about when the engineer would visit.
The engineer was pleasant and professional, and effected a thermostat replacement quickly and tidily.
I can happily recommend this company for cooker and domestic appliance repairs.

Really bad service. The engineer knocked on the wrong door, then cancelled the job saying nobody had been at home (didn't call me for directions, apparently had no signal, but didn't move to somewhere with better signal). I phoned immediately (the engineer was from Hotpoint, contracted by Repaircare). He refused to go back to my house because the job by then had been cancelled on the computer. So, having waited in, the only option was to navigate the rubbish phone system AGAIN, wait on hold for ages, for the pleasure of re-booking for a later date and having to wait in all over again. All the while with a broken oven. Totally rubbish service.

I described the fault as best I could including an amateur thought on what the problem might be.
Engineer arrived on time for the appointment, diagnosed the problem quickly and fitted new parts. My diagnosis was partly correct but stove also needed a new computerised box to fix the problem that I knew nothing about.
Had the box with him, fitted it together with new thermocouples and problem solved.
Left old box and priced it on the internet at £140.
That meant that the fixed price of about £190 was good value.
Took engineer about half an hour to fit and fix.
Very pleased with your company.
