Wow this company are something else ! Paid £168 for a west end show experience with a 3 course meal at Marco Pierre Whites steakhouse . All very exciting until we came to book !
Firstly there’s very limited west end shows to choose from and when we did try to book we had to have a matinee and the seats were the furthest away possible (( unless we paid to upgrade ) tried several showings and all the same .
So decided to change the voucher for something else only to be shown the voucher was worth £89.99 !!! What ! We paid £168 ! A complete rip off and total scam in order to get you to spend more ! So they buy the cheapest seats possible to make it look like a bargain ! Never again . So the voucher is worth £89.99 and the ridiculous box it came in is worth £70 ???? REFUND REQUESTED AND THANK YOU FOR TURNING A LOVELY BIRTHDAY GIFT INTO A TOTALLY DAMP SQUIBB !
Didn't like that it was complicated to actually book after choosing the experience. I was lucky that the restaurant went out of their way to validate the voucher when I was convinced I had a booking. Not great to find out that the value of the experience was 15 % cheaper in reality than what was deducted from my voucher
We had a lovely day - even the weather was nice and we had a lovely drive across the New Forest. The Drift Inn was charming and the staff helpful and friendly. The food was delicious - one of the best afternoon teas I have ever had.
Found the site a bit tricky to use as I wanted something specific however the search options were not as easy to use for me. Did manage in the end to get everything I was looking for. Delivery time was ok and received well packaged.

I listed a negative review on here, maybe 2 months ago and got a hopeful reply from ‘Buyagift.com’ asking me to reach out to their complaints team. Well I have and still my complaint has not been resolved, Still this company has over £300 of my money that it seems unwilling to return, even though it has agreed to. This has been ongoing since 19th Jan. Every time I email, I just get a response saying ‘we’re waiting from a reply from our finance department.’ Well guess what? If they have replied after 2 months, they’re unlikely to now.
I am going to have to take this further as no one will escalate my complaint. I feel like I’ve been scammed.
Do not give this company your custom. If you have a problem the money is gone. The worst treatment ever.

They were quite difficult to find (navigation wise). Cars were quite old, the experience was below my expectations. I’m still grateful though that I had a chance to experience this kind of stuff.
Staff were friendly and nice.

Hotel spa day to celebrate my mum’s 80th birthday on 18/04/26 in The Marriot Hotel Manchester really was disappointing.
As the hotel is situated on a number of levels, we were invited by the ever so helpful receptionist to change into gowns. However, as the changing rooms and treatment rooms are on separate floors, we were required to wander the cold hotel communal areas and lift in our gowns (very undignified for my 80 year old mum) to use facilities. Secondly, there were no toilet facilities on the treatment floor or in the dining area floor, ann inconvenience! Again, this involved further trips in the lift with hotel clients, men, women and children.No privacy.
The Elemis facial was outstanding, clean treatment room and a very pleasant experience.A further trip into the lift to the spa area which smelled very strongly of damp. The sauna was being repaired.Another trip into the lift for afternoon tea which despite being served on an impressive towered plate, a saucer was provided for us to eat both savoury and sweet items.Tea was served in mugs..
Again, yet another trip into the lift to change from damp gowns. We were asked to provide our own footwear due to environmental reasons.The changing area was not ergonomic as the changing bench was directly below the lockers.The sanitary bins in the changing area toilets were overfilled.Signage in the lifts, treatment area and spa was poor.

Poor choice and value for money. Booked a driving experience only to find out i needed to pay around £180 extra for insurance. So changed to a hotel stay but even that I had to upgrade to get a hotel that was worth a lot less than my original voucher value.
Great business model for the company. Not so much for the consumer

Booking process was straightforward once I had decided on the date. On arrival we were greeted well and shown around. The gown was slightly short and the flip flops were too small , the replacement was a larger used pair. The treatment was great , masseur was attentive. The resting room after the treatment could have been cleaner as there were cups and plates still on the table that needed to be cleared away. It wasn’t too busy so couldn’t understand why attention to detail was overlooked . Overall, The treatment was the best experience the venue did not match my expectations.
Will not be returning in a hurry .

It was a lovely day out. There were no problems booking the experience and the staff on site were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend Didcot railway experience to anyone.

Booked a fire engine. Tank and army truck driving experience for my husband. Fire engine no longer available. Now the Tank id in Rubgy and the truck near Gatwick. Red letter have ignored 3 attempts to contact them about this. I will do a credit card charge back as its not acceptable

So basically, my wife booked a hotel that is listed on Red letter day website, paid extra which was fine, got an email confirmation from Red letter days with the booking and have now been told by the hotel itself it doesn't accept Red letter days ...
Impossible to get in touch with customer services ..

Really wish I'd never used red letter days as a gift. My partner couldn't really book anything she wanted and we ended up spending more just to get something and phoning to get a code that worked. Will book direct in future.
