Really easy to join & looking forward to using the app 👍only small criticism I have was the mid week induction session were all early 8 am ish
I work early shifts during week so evening sessions would be better!
I had to wait 5 days for Saturday morning 🙈🙈🙈

Plenty of working equipment, clean, specious. Lots of mirrors.

Visited the gym and request a quick look around to see if it looked to meet my needs and was politely given access and shown around and given all necessary information regarding facilities & joining instructions by a helpful member of staff.

I didn’t sign up for a Rave?!
If you enjoy doing cardio whilst listening to an audiobook then this is not the gym for you, I was listening to slipknot through my headphones and could still hear the PT on the mic to her class, it was like being in a 90s rave, the studio has no roof and no door so everyone has listen to it, you have no choice.
Gym equipment is very good, there’s plenty of machines and even some specialist bars. The gym staff don’t even acknowledge you when you enter the gym, don’t even look up from the desk.
The gym just doesn't have a very positive atmosphere overall.

Staff should undertake regular volume checks for the safety and comfort of our members, but if you approach the Gym Manager with more info such as the date and time of this class, they can look into this. Love this gym...staff super friendly…
Love this gym...staff super friendly and helpful. All types of equipment if needed but go mainly for classes as they work me harder. Don't feel by my age or abilities that I'm out of place here.

lovely little gym and staff.
myself and my partner joined over the xmas holidays as
we where both disappointed with the JD gym nearby .
although the place is small it has a great balance of space and areas to stretch and do different exercises other than weights and cardio.
when we first joined it was quite new and obviously absolutely rammed but it has settled down to a good level where you can get in , train and out without hanging about.
the staff are all really great , always smiling and happy to have a laugh yet are also professional enough if you need help .
the new assistant managers keep the place in a good order so hats off .
it has everything you need to work out and the fact there are not many kids training here ( JD AND ONE gym have taken them thank god ) hogging machines sat on phones and messing about means us oldies can train without hinderance .
place is kept spotless by a team of cleaners .
down sides =
change room is tiny ,
lockers have locks left on by selfish people so struggle for a locker in there ( there are plenty in the gym itself but no good if showering as i dont fancy walking through the gym in my duds ).
the shower pressure is really weak , water is luke warm also but they work .
well done amanda , dan and staff for keeping a tight ship and if it stays this way we will be happy to stay forever.

Gym is very dark and feels enclosed…
Gym is very dark and feels enclosed with very limited space in changing room and only 2 showers. On the plus side a good variety of equipment

Disabled changing and showering facilities are very good ,training equipment suits our needs and the hartlepool site has extremely helpful gym staff

Longitivity equals good health and exercise
Arriving at reception knowing what I wanted from my visit and being helped by a very supportive well mannered dude made my morning!
Simplicity and I was joined in minutes!

Good clean gym priced at correct level
The gym is a bit small and cramped around the cardio area and needs some more bars for the cable machines not enough straight bars to attach for curls or pushdown, good clean gym though but a lot of the machines have fixed seats which is no good for wheelchair users ,some gyms have seats that swivel out so then you can manoeuvre a wheelchair into place ,staff are friendly agree with others changing room is very small

Finding the gym a comfortable place to work out, one little snag there is not enough mirrors to help watch your form to make sure your working out is of good position and posture.
