I put in a subsidence clam July 2025 8 month later.
I put in a subsidence clam July 2025. I got one visit that reposition one 2020 L bracket in my bedroom then 0 no e-mail no phone calls no post 0 till Mach 2026. Finally phone my clam handily he promise me a phone call back for update of the clam but 0 again. Did get a 2nd L bracket fitted by new monitoring team, Monday 30th March 2026. Privilege will not insurance my homes building insurance for 2026-27 I shopped around and the best price was around £800 - £1200 up from £336 2025/2026. As a £500+ increase x may be 5 years slowly cummings down with the loss of NCD and 5 year of subsidence clam on my home Information form. Now with the cost of food/power I can't afford that. So I shopped around for content only 2026/27 and gases what £68 with Privilege being the best price on comparison sites. Put in a complaint and they say I will get a £250 payment. Now have given this ongoing two component 6 year old problem to Financial Ombudsman Service. Update the £250 complaint payment 8 days on from Privilege reply no £250 payment. I know UK post is not as good as it was 2 3 year ago BUT? I believe The Post office say 89% of 1st class post arrive within 48h and 92% within 72h. So did Privilege put £250 check in the post?

Privilege was quick to respond and made the process seemless. However, the 3rd party SBS let Privilege down .Shoddy work, lying about customer, not turning on several occassions. The whole process took 5 months. Privilege spent weeks rectifying the issues the 3rd party caused and I was highly satisfied with renovations. That is why I renewed with them.
