Excellent service from Magyar Posta

Never got my important letter from Germany.

Hát, nem véletlenül a magyar állam a lifeline ennek a "szolgáltatásnak". Az MPL irdatlan költségei párosítva analfabéta szállítókkal - prémium matyhar eleterzes. Beware! Never choose this service!

Don't be fooled by the high price thinking that it's a premium service, its not. It is the worst courier I've ever tried do not use.

Nem sikerult kihozni a levelem, se sms, se telefon se email. Majd postara vittek, amiert 1 orat utaztam. Nem is volt ott

Their drivers are really chill most of them time. At least in my district. The staff working at the local physical office are also chill for the most part, but I've heard plenty of horror stories of other regions being incompetent. (All my homies hate VÁM)

Ich verstehe nicht was dort abgeht. Päckchen nach Budapest geschickt statt Päckchen bei Anfänger Abgeben behält die Post das Paket und sogar mit geschickte Quittung und Passport bekommt Anfänger Packet nicht und würde auch nicht zurückgeschickt.

Egy kalap fos. Olyan dolgokért kell fizetni, amilért már egyszer fizetett az ember. (Vám, szállítás) Arról nem beszélve, hogy gyakran be kell mennie az embernek a csomagjáért a postára, ha éppen nem felejtenek még értesítőt is küldeni. Szívem szerint elásnám az egészet, egy állami pöcegödör és akkor még kultúráltam fogalmaztam.

I "love" them, they are thieves! I've ordered a mobile phone from Blackview, they sent the package from Singapore for which I had to pay the customs, which means 27% VAT here in Hungary. That's not a problem, BUT those thieves at Magyar Posta has raised the customs handling fee to $33 - I had to fill the PDF myself, I had to attach the proofs of purchase and payment myself, they had nothing to do! Let them vanish, they're not needed!

Terrible experience... Gift sent from UK to HUN, value under £20... Custom charges, lengthy process, an absolute JOKE.
It's been now 14 days, still didn't arrive to the destination.
Beautiful country but what a horrendous service by the HUN post office.

Harmadik országból küldtem bőven 17ezer ft alatti értékű ajándékot amit volt pofájuk random felértékelni 10ezerre és kitalálni, hogy vámköteles vásárlás volt a fogadó oldalon. Ha reklamálni akarsz akkor ki kell fizetni egy újabb vámeljárást, magyarán ígyis-úgyis lerántanak.
Felrobbanok. És nem a sz@ros 4ezer forint fizetnivalótól, hanem az elvtől. Undorító tolvaj banda. Sose legyen több pénzetek.

Ahogy látom a véleményekből, nem én vagyok az egyetlen aki így járt.

Frissítés:
Miután durván 2 hét(!) alatt megérkezett a csomag és megloptak a vámköltséggel még tetézik azzal, hogy ki se szállítják és a címzettnek kell bemennie érte az 5km-re lévő postára. Ugyan mi a francra fizettem 2x annyit mint amennyiért még a legputtóbb futárcég is házhoz vinné?
Felhéborító, hogy ennyire nincs fogyasztóvédelem.

My letters do get put in my post box, but I have also watched the postman put in a 'package cannot be delivered' note for a package he had not even bothered bringing with him to try and deliver.
Packages received from abroad have been opened - not for a customs inspect, but ripped apart and parts stolen. That was my children's Christmas present from their grandparents.
I never use Magyar Posta - always use FoxPost or Express One.

TERRIBLE again 0 ratings..more and more issues they are charging for everything' there is a minimal limit for private individuals recieving gifts from family..but this company does not admit it'
so Magyar postas should be reported to the European council !
If you have any issues with them..take it up with them..wait for the total terrible replys that they give you..and send this to the European council please!
As many reports possible will see that someting has to be done legally about Magyar posta.
This cannot go on..uve actually contacted the Hungarian authourities involved to investigate Magyar post..the contact was given by the European council..
Guess what? even the Hungarian authourities i contacted regarding require a fee so that they may look into it' it will cost me more than ive lost!
They have the evidence from me' so back to the European council i go'
PLEASE DO NOT PAY ANY CUSTOMS FEES IN HUNGARY ...if your item is from a private individual and the value is under 35 euor total including the post sending it! This refers to items sent to Hungary from outside the EU. f its a pair of socks total value 6 GBP you will have to pay 10 GBP to have it on top!

Avoid! Worst couriers ever! Expensive but the service they provide is useless

I can agree with all the negative reviews, the country has a very crappy post office service unfortunately.

Avoid this post office at any cost if you don't want to wait for 6 months to get your parcel!

Szánalom. Külföldről rendelek csomagot amit 2 nap alatt feladnak Magyarországra, ezek meg 3 hétig szenvednek a kiszállítással? Az ajándék amit viszek egy barátomnak még mindig nem érkezett meg, üres kézzel kell majd hozzá beállítanom?
