After being with the company for six years I have tried to renew my policy this morning based on the renewal quote forwarded to me. At the payment stage I was surprised to be told that on top of the renewal quote I was being charged an admin fee of £40 because I was renewing my policy with them. So my insurance of £311 has now gone up to £359. They have started applying it to make themselves “competitive” apparently. I am now looking elsewhere.

I contacted Police Mutual regarding the renewal of my House Insurance policy. I spoke with Susan Stott who was very thorough. My policy was reviewed completely and updated which resulted in the premium being reduced which was very much appreciated. Susan also took the time to review my Police Mutual Car Insurance policy and highlighted areas where updated information could positively effect that premium. Police Mutual Breakdown cover is an essential. I am a returning customer. Police Mutual always remain very competitive for insurance. I have only had very positive experiences with Police Mutual.

I phoned police mutual to put a friend temporarily on my car insurance whilst on a holiday in Holland, I spoke to Lesley Mack who was very professional in listening to my request and set about finding the best deal for this upgrade, my insurance was also due for its annual renewal during the holiday, which l thought might cause a problem.
