I’m very careful what I buy for the kitchen and moved from a plastic jug filter to a Britta Glass one with maxtra cartridges before I was recommended the Phox refills. I use glass instead of plastic wherever possible. I bought the alkaline refillable cartridges on recommendation, as we have soft water and the clarity and taste of the water is far superior to my previous brand. I’m very happy that I no longer have to buy plastic cartridges and can just refill the Phox cartridge. A little less plastic in the environment from yet another household and the refills fit through your letterbox so less cardboard to recycle. A winner all round.

My compatible cartridge arrived quickly and there are clear instructions on how to use it. It works well and a perfect fit with an existing Brita Filter jug. I'm slightly underwhelmed by the coffee I can make with the water. I think it is better than tap water, but probably not as good as the BWT Magnesium mineralised water. I'm in a hard water area and possibly the Softener mix would be better for me. I was slightly surprised to receive an email from Phox after a week suggesting that my Phox refills 'deserve' a Phox jug, adding more plastic to the environment. Surely if the company are motivated by reducing plastic they'd be content me using my old Brita jug?
Happy to be free from using plastic cartridges and pleased with the aesthetics and environmentally friendly solution however. Will resist being upsold more plastic!

I live in an area of hard water, limescale is a big problem for my household, and it's even worse in my work place, about 10 miles away, where you need to filter then strain after boiling the kettle... I've so far tried the clean and the softener options both work wonders although I'm not sure if I need to use the softener option. But I do need to remember to set reminders on my calendar for when to change and order more 😅

I love this product. I have always struggled to drink tap water because of the taste and don’t use bottled water because of the plastic waste. This system is amazing - the water tastes great, I know that nasties are filtered out and there is no plastic waste. It has been life changing for me in ensuring that I drink enough water and keep healthy.

Best water filter so far. I love that there is no cartridge to discard. The water tastes awesome, and I can see how the quality positively impacts my health compared to unfiltered tap water. My kettle is also completely limescale free - which never happened with other filters. The filter lasts longer too, which is fantastic
