I keep coming back for a reason
Ive bought multiple cloth pieces. Great quality, holds after washing and fast shipping. I also had the wrong item sent once and fixed as soon as I reached out to support!

Awful Customer Care
Order three shirts. Two arrived correct and one was wrong. Emailed them and got an automated AI response, that's not very customer service focused.
I then get an email back asking what shirt was missing, I had already provided that information but gave it again.
They then ghosted me until I wrote another email asking for them to send me the proper shirt. I then received a response that they have refunded me for the missing shirt. This was not what I asked for.
I emailed back saying I would like a replacement shirt sent out asap. They responded back telling me to place a new order for it if I wanted the shirt. So they were going to make me fix their mistake and also spend additional money on shipping to get the shirt that I originally ordered that they didn't send! They now refuse to do anything else.
Piss poor customer service and job in making sure their customers receive the correct items and have a pleasant customer experience.
Will be looking elsewhere for clothes as they do not care about their customers and only care about making money.

Wow I wish I had checked here first. What a terrible experience. I ordered from Perry Ellis with a banner that said "free shipping to Canada" and provided pricing in Canadian $. The returns section did not say shipping would be charged for returns. My order also had NO OPTION at checkout for free shipping even though my order was $300 - when I emailed customer service explaining that I selecting standard $25 shipping that should be free, instead of $42 express shipping, they said "sorry we could not help you you selected express" - which I did not! Then replied asking me how they could improve their checkout service in future!?!?!? Um have your checkout show what you advertise?! How about that! Then for goods that were apparently 70% off they arrived with the ticket prices (not sale tags) showing prices CONSIDERABLY lower than the list prices on the website (and not at a US to CAD conversion rate either) incredibly lower, so my sale price was literally a 7% discount for the shirts and 30% for a jacket instead of 70% from $399 fake list price, and $170 fake list price. The goods also arrived poorly packaged. Then the surprise when I went to return them I had to navigate to a different return area after being told "we are not accepting returns from your country" to an area that finally would process the return but I had to pay $33 for shipping!!! What a major disappointment. Looks like online shopping is failing badly and we will get to return to our bricks and mortar stores in future - which I love anyway. This was my third disastrous online shipping experience in a row.

Absolutely rubbish firm
Absolutely rubbish firm ordered through John Lewis as one of there Suppliers delivered the incorrect size ordered 2 large track bottoms and got small was re sent out again and yes they they promptly sent another 2 small track suit bottoms now in the process of returning these and asking for money to be refunded. Please John Lewis ditch this supplier they are giving you a bad name.

I ordered a pair of mens 11 shoes on…
I ordered a pair of mens 11 shoes on sale. Received a 7.5. The return deducts a service fee from the cost of the shoe ($6) and doesn't pay my original shipping. So, a $50 purchase (total) will yield $33 credit. For their error. Customer service number is non-functional and brings you to a bunch of non-clothing deals (eg hearing aides, etc). Terrible service.

Rather than accept a $33 credit for $51 spent, I've given the shoes to a co-worker for her son. When life gives you lemons (you and your company), make lemonade.

Bunch of scammers
I order a jacket and pants that were on sale. It turns out the jacket was out of stock so they only shipped the pants and refunded me for the jacket (which including removing my promo code) without noticing me about it, I guess they just decided it was the way to go.
So I end up paying way too much for dress pants I won’t have any jacket to fit with. Their costumer support is an absolute joke, they won’t refund anything, I can ship the pants back but the shipping is on me. I asked for a different jacket size that appears in stock, but they told me their website is misleading and they don’t have it in stock.
Their last offer ? A promo code of 20% (which I already had and they removed when they made changes to my order)

First time is the last time
On 12/28/2025 I ordered two shirts. There was no mention of stock issues. I paid $19.99 for expedited shipping which it states on their site is a 2 business day delivery. I received one of the shirts on 1/2/2026, four business days later and the other shirt was never shipped. However, on their site it clearly shows both shipped. I also received several emails mentioning the "last item" shipped.
It's all incredibly misleading at best. If there is stock issues why not clearly show the item is out of stock before allowing a transaction to go through?
I've heard nothing about a refund on the expedited shipping.
I was a first time customer and received that kind of treatment, obviously, there will not be a next time even though I was told to come back in a week and try to reorder the second shirt and they'd ship it free as a refund gesture.

Perry Ellis site recommended getting a certain shoe a size below your normal size, so I did, and it was too small. AND PERRY ELLIS WOULDN'T LET ME RETURN IT!!! Because the site said something like "Final Holiday Days Sale" - which is NOT the same as "Final Sale" which was their excuse for not accepting it.Should change their name to PETTY Ellis. And made the LUDICROUS claim that NO ONE in the organization had the ability to override it.

Dishonest Business Practices
I went to buy a large jacket but they told me not to get that size and recommended an XL based on my height and weight. When I got the jacket, it was ridiculously oversized. I looked like a homeless person.
I contacted the company and they told me that my order qualified for an exchange or refund. I asked for an exchange and they sent me a second email saying that they actually won't honor their promise.
So I wasted my money on an unusable product that they recommended and I also have to deal with the fact that they're a dishonest company.

All orders get cancelled
Twice I've tried to buy something and on both times they've cancelled the order afterwards with no info. Only after contacting support did they say that they don't have a good overview of how much stock there is and they can't ship out items even if they're marked as available. There's a stamp response about "unprecedented demand" etc. Seems sketchy and weird.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had purchasing something online. I came across a jacket and pants through a Facebook ad and decided to buy them, even though I wasn’t familiar with the Perry Ellis brand. It took me some time to make the purchase, but I eventually did, using a first-time buyer discount of 20%.
When the items arrived, they were too small. After numerous exhausting email exchanges, I was told I could exchange them with free returns—but I had to place a new order first, and I would be refunded after they received the returned items. Hesitantly, I placed a second order but decided to use PayPal this time due to my poor experience with the return process.
Once I received the new order, I sent several emails asking for an update on my return but got no response. Out of frustration, I reported the issue to PayPal. Conveniently, the company responded the next day. I was supposed to receive a refund of $285.60, but they only refunded $219.15 at first. After I contacted them again, they refunded another $13.60. When I reached out a third time about the remaining balance, they claimed they had already refunded the full amount.
I sent multiple emails with screenshots from my credit card transactions proving the discrepancy, but they have chosen to ignore me. I have since disputed the charge with my credit card company. PayPal couldn’t help with the second order, as it was considered a valid transaction.
Never again!

Returning / Exchange Terrible Business Model
I ordered three pairs of pants; somehow, one was a different size than the other two I ordered and requested an exchange, for which they provided a shipping label. The item was returned on Feb 5, 2025, and one week later, the correct size was not shipped. Email exchange stated that it can take THREE WEEKS to exchange!!! Item has been paid for, and this length of time is absurd!!! Avoid this company at all costs!

Extremely Disappointing Post-Purchase Experience
I purchased a pair of boots from Perry Ellis that didn’t fit and decided to return them. Over a month has passed since I sent them back, and I have yet to receive the promised refund. Despite repeatedly reaching out to customer service, I’ve been met with no resolution and a frustrating lack of assistance.
The customer service experience has been nothing short of deplorable. A brand isn’t just about the products it offers but also about how it supports its customers after the sale. Unfortunately, Perry Ellis falls severely short in this regard, leaving you completely on your own.
If you like their clothing style, I strongly recommend shopping in-store to avoid the headaches of dealing with their online services. However, given my experience, I’d advise against purchasing from Perry Ellis altogether. A smooth and respectful post-purchase process should be the bare minimum, and sadly, this brand does not deliver.

Very poor service. I ordered a suit and the jacket and pants were shipped from two different locations. I received the pants, but the jacket never left the warehouse. After three days I contacted customer service via chat (by the way there is no number to talk to someone), and then kept telling me I needed to wait 7 days for them to take action. After days and days, the item never moved and FedEx never had the package. After 7 days, I contacted Perry Ellis and they said they had no more jackets my size. I contacted Perry Ellis every other day and they kept telling me I had to wait 7 days, all this time they knew by the tracking that FedEx never had the package yet. I contacted FedEx and they said they did not have the package and Perry Ellis never scheduled a pick up. Perry Ellis kept telling me the package was sent, so someone is not being truthful. Now I was stuck with the pants and no jacket. Had they taken care of it sooner, they could have send me another jacket. I kept going back and forth between Perry Ellis and FedEx which is something they should have done and not leave that up to the customer. As of today 10/07/24 tracking still shows "package has not left the facility" since 09/29/24. Very poor practices. Do not buy from Perry Ellis unless you are willing to gamble and hope you get your product.
